    My husband and I love going to Philosophy fitness. We initially did the 10 day trial in August and loved the variety of classes, spacious studio, and the quality of the instructors. We love the boxing classes with Dustin, bootcamp classes with Jill and lift classes with Phil. They are really amazing instructors and we are very much looking forward to the new boxing gym. The members of the gym are courteous and it seems like a lot of them have built a social network. Definitely deserve five stars!

    Great place. Very motivating. Many classes. Knowledgeable trainers. The space is divided over 2 floors. Ground floor is usually for strength related work with the barbells, pull up bars, etc. The second floor is for HiiT, Barre, yoga, and boxing. The boxing classes have the lighting dimmed and energetic music. The open room is also home to other athletic and dance groups - so check out what else is there.

    My partner and I trained with Fiona for personal training for 8 months now. We both are more defined and all of our friends can tell we lost lots of weight and look fitter than before. I highly recommend Fiona - she always come prepared with a training plan and keep track of our progress, weakness, strength, and pay attention to our knee issue. By the way, I no longer have my jumpers knee issue as we strengthen our knee and glu and all related muscles. I feel so happy about that as I was so worried I can never play basketball with a healthy knee again. And she knows how to motivate you at the right moment. Also, the owner of the gym Phil is also a great guy!! All staff in the gym are very kind and welcoming. Love you all!

    Stop walking by and wondering if you should maybe sign up... and just DO it! Accessible classes (ie go at your own pace, modifications, etc) welcoming instructors (they will know your name after 1 class), and friendly people (a St. Clair community)! You are greeted at the door with a smile each time, it is so lovely. I cannot say enough good things about this gym. HIIT, yoga, boxing, strength...they've got it all. They have something for everyone. If you're looking for a sign to purchase a membership / class pack .... this is it. Trust me!

    Love this place; it's clean, bright and fun. It's also huge. The front gives the false impression it's small inside ... wrong huge, great areas spread over two floors. It is the most immaculately clean gym I've ever attended, and there have been other people there every time. I just wish I lived closer.

    This facility is amazing!! I stumbled into it after a very trying experience at another gym. I was greeted with a warm smile and a very knowledgeable consultation. The owner Phil emailed me straight away and set me up. I have been training and taking classes for a few weeks now and feel better than I have in a long time. All of the trainers are top in there field I can promise you. Join this place it's trully an amazing experience . You are treated kindly and feel very welcomed and you will leave there sweating!!

    I was initially drawn to philosophy for their dynamic, energetic, strength building workouts. What I didn’t anticipate was the strong sense of community and belonging I would come to experience. Phil, the owner, is so warm and inviting. Zalie, one of the instructors, is one of the most spirited, kind and generous human beings I have ever encountered. She gives 100 percent to the classes she’s instructing and really pushes people to be their most strongest selves. Jason is a wonderful instructor who has really helped me to master my form on foundational strength movements and always delivers a great workout. I love it so much here and feel so grateful to everyone that contributes to this community. I have never felt stronger and most enthusiastic about moving my body - thank hou!

    I found Philosophy last year and initially came for barre and yoga classes, which are some of the best I've been to in the city (shout out to Eneli and Jeanine). However, the lifting and strength classes, while intimidating at first, are truly what has taken my fitness to the level. The coaches, Anna and Jason, are keen to welcome newbies to lifting- don't hesitate to try their classes. I continue to frequent Philosophy weekly, and can attest to how much healthier I feel overall because of it. This place is special: not only for the fitness improvements you'll see from coming consistently, but for the social connections you'll make here- the environment is so positive and welcoming (and clean!) something you'll notice the moment you enter the front door! So grateful I found Philosphy 😊

    I just had a boxing class with Chloe! She was insane! Omggg her energy was crazy!! She’s amazing !!! It was literally the best boxing class I have gone to! And I’ve been to many! The facility is super clean, the young lady at the front was soo helpful and welcoming. You can tell anyone I spoke to feels like this is their second home.. I cannot wait for what this journey has in store!! If you’re thinking about coming,, what are you waiting for??? ! Do it! You will not regret it!!!

    This is a great gym - very professionally run/organized, knowledgeable trainers and a well-maintained space with new equipment. The classes I've attended were circuit-based with a mix of weights/cardio but they have boxing and some other offerings as well.

    I can’t say enough good things about this place. Phil the owner really goes out of his way to get to know the people in the gym. Zalie is an amazing instructor whose so encouraging. Even if you aren’t a workout person or just getting started this is an excellent place that will make you feel like you can achieve your goals.

    Amazing experience here with a trial class; my full intention is to continue with training at this establishment. My trial teacher was amazing, attentive, and explained philosophy along with physical demonstration. She demonstrated a warmth and charisma that encourages you to come back! Fully recommend checking out the establishment if you're interested in practical self-defense exercise/training or in the competitive aspects of combat sport.

    What a great place! I felt welcomed right from the outset by the owner, Phil and all the trainers, who are also very friendly. The facility is clean and very well set up with equipment etc. The classes are well prepared and the trainers are clear on the work load and exercises required while at the same time motivating. Very impressed and can highly recommend.

    Phil has really built a great community at Philosophy. I love all the HIIT, bootcamp and strength classes. Zalie is my favourite! She is super encouraging and has great energy even at 7am in the morning! and the playlist is 🔥

    This is by far the best gym I've been a member of. The instructors really care about their clients and create such a positive inclusive environment. Their classes are different than most classes I've tried at other gyms in that they're very creative in their exercises and more challenging in general. Such a great place to get fitter! And like Cheers, everybody knows your name. 😁

    Philosophy Fitness and its staff are terrific (and I've been to a lot of gyms!). The group classes are fun and challenging, and my hubs really enjoys his personal training sessions with Brooker. All equipment is brand new. The vibe is relaxed yet athletic, and never pretentious or fussy. Just straight up good workouts with great staff. Management is excellent and really responsive to feedback. Highly recommend.

    Challenging and inclusive fitness classes- I appreciate the range of classes offered and how well organized it is (love the app)! The teachers are friendly, and help correct form, and the community is welcoming. Highly recommended.
