Update: It has been a week since I sent an email to the one you left and I am still waiting for the reply. Is it how you value your customer's opinion? I went here today for the early access of anniversary sale. I was among the first group of customers and I went straight to the skincare area but I did not see any of the la prairie or the Diptyque set advertised online. Later I saw some random sales outside of the anniversary sale section who each had roughly 20 boxes of the sets in front of them and they were checking out those sets without any customer present. My understanding is that for Canadian Nordstrom, anniversary sale is first only open to WALKIN customers only. If sets are sold out to those who are not even present before the first day of opening, then what's the point of early access? No one can access earlier than your own staffs. Today I had a conversation with a saleslady in Nordstrom Eaton Center. She said Yorkdale is the only store in Toronto that allows its staffs to "hide" products at the back while all other stores always put whatever they received from the States on display. Some of the sets are left deliberately for Yorkdale's long-term customers who are not ambassadors and thus could not shop earlier. She helped me check on system the skincare set I was intended to get that was claimed to be "out of stock" in Yorkdale and it turns out there are at least 30 sets available in Yorkdale. It's absolutely ridiculous and I am so confused now, Nordstrom Yorkdale, could you please let me know what is prestigious about your skincare department to cheat your customers in the dumbest way possible?

When I die...if I go to heaven I hope it’s as beautiful as this Nordstrom’s. This location in particular is the epitome of mind blowing, beautiful merchandising and layout. Words can’t even express how incredibly gorgeous this store is. Walking in here is like shopping heaven. Everything about the Yorkdale locations is incredible.

Super rude customer service, I just find it difficult to pronounce Nordstrom, so what? Are you racist? I bought something from Nordstrom.ca and it showed that I could pick up on the same day, but I didn't receive the pick up email until 7:30. So I contacted the customer service on Nordstrom.ca. They told me that they had contacted the store and the order actually ready to pick up. But when I called Nordstrom Yorkdale , the women who picked up my phone insult my pronunciation and told me just wait until I get pick up email. Without giving me the opportunity and time to explain, just hung up my phone directly. Disgusting

Had an incredible day! From the delicious coffee and treats at the ebar cafe, to brunch at Bazille, we absolutely loved it. Brunch was superb, perfectly cooked, great selections, the coffee was always fresh and piping hot and hands down the eggs Benedict were some of the best I’ve had in this city! Then we spent hours navigating various departments before making our way into the mall. Everyone is so helpful and I already can’t wait to be back for brunch. 🤤

Today marks the end of the Nordstrom-era in Canada. This high-end store is leaving forever. Only 4 more days to go...

Customer service is great here. They are friendly, and helpful. Lots of styles to choose from. They also have a reduced price section where the items on sale are similar to those at Nordstrom's Rack. The private shopping with your own personal shopper is awesome. They serve you champagne while you shop and cater to your style.

Great apparells, brand name shoes, bags, makeup etc, staff are helpful, store is clean, bright and organise also you can get an alcoholic beverage and there are a couple of coffee shops and a restaurant too with big bay windows. I love to sip a beverage and people watch 😉.

Love Nordstrom!! I used curbside this time after a delivery fiasco with another major department store and they more than came through! It was wrapped and ready within an hour. Honestly the best curbside experience I’ve had all pandemic.

Their curb side pick up service is great! They gave me a free nordy bar for a small purchase. Great shopping experience. However, I didn’t get the promo card that I’m supposed to receive after picking up my order. I think their IT or technical team should improve their system. Also, it took me 30 mins to reach a customer service rep over the phone, and my issue is still not resolved.

Wide variety & Big brands available Gucci Prada and many more are there Most of the items are for female.. i think 2 floor are covered with female items only and 3 Floor is for man with huge collection for winters (current november) They have also the seating facilities Very Good and polite staff members are there. Collection Showcase is there also This is kind of one-stop solution for clothing. I was totally amazed by the items that were present their. Winter collection is taking pace and go to nordstrom and get a new one😊😇🥰😍 I would love to visit here again !!

Jennifer Gross, the store manager is a gem of a person, so so customer oriented and super helpful. I get to speak to her and she made sure she helped me in the best possible way and i leave the store happy and satisfied. Yen and Alice at Clarins counter are amazing and know their trade well. Loved Nords but now this location is home :). Amazing store amazing management and team.

I went to Nordstrom today to check out those makeup inventories left. Most of the foundation for lighter skin tones are gone. Plenty plenty of foundation for darker skin are available. 60% off an item and additional 20% off if you buy 3. I’m happy that I bought some today.

I went into Nordstrom at Yorkdale on September 1, I stood in the Dior section for 5-7 minutes awaiting help. Two older European lady employees were having a very important conversation it seemed. I was not dressed up as I was running errands quickly before my birthday dinner, and so the employees ignored me. I left the store, and made my purchase at Holt, with excellent service. Sorry, but how I’m dressed should not determine the service I receive. Disgusting.

I do like nordstrom a lot, and I spend a lot in it. Also there is my favorite sales in yorkdale location. However, only yorkdale location has problem with egift card I purchased in app "moola". Moola is a very strict app with verification of payment, and it is very popular in Canada. The egift card I bought do have money in it. But yorkdale location refused to proceed with it. I am a customer, I do have right to purchase gift card anywhere I want to. How could a department store refuse client to use they own gift card? If you don't accept my egift card, at least you need to approve it with policy, but they don't have any policy about why I can't use gift card purchased through third party. If nordstrom doesn't accept the egift card purchased from third party, then stop third party selling it, but not stop customer using it. It's not fair to customer, I am not the person who should take responsibility. Moreover, many store's gift card are selling in moola, they all doesn't have any issue with using in store, even other nordstrom locations, but only nordstrom in Yorkdale. I want a official explanation why I cannot use egift card of nordstrom which has money in it.

If you want to be ignored and looked down upon, go directly to the perfume section at nordstrom. When I asked for a sample of an almost $400 dollar perfume they refused, saying they don't even have a tester. Well, she lied because the other lady did spray the tester on the cardboard. As if I'm going to spend that much money based on one sniff. Everyone knows perfumes need to be tested based on your skin's chemistry. And then they proceeded to stare me down. Well if you hate your job, go to McDonald's. Embarrassing. Not to mention their perfume section is boring and has barely any selection.

Amazing store. Nordstrom service at its finest. It looks like Nordstrom Yorkdale is intent on wowing the customer, and in the process, earning the trust and business of the Canadian shopper. Fantastic yet unobtrusive service, whether you are purchasing a budget conscious item or a $25,000 handbag. Wanted to buy a simple tie bar, and was walked to the appropriate department, and introduced to a gentleman who was both knowledgeable, and capable of recommending one that I am comfortable wearing. Purchased, great presentation after bagged, and finally, the individual stepped out from behind the counter to hand me the item, shake my hand, and thank me for my purchase. Will be back.

I gave this store 3 stars because store manager and assistant manager (Polaris Z.) - “handbags section” came fast to help me to solve the problems yesterday (August 28, 2022). Actually two stars I don’t give because that sales lady (Yoona) really failed for her performance. Also she doesn’t know how to help customers from the beginning that she only stands close to me for a while and waited to see I was line up because counter so busy at that moment. She really giggled at me. I don’t know why? I never talked to her from the beginning. I can’t heard about what she said to me that she wears mask. She should speak more clearly through the mask. After that she still waited both of the managers communicated with me. I felt very uncomfortable from her behavior. She still concentrate looked both of you and me. Actually I was not the first time have been your store. I saw many staffs from the past they are nice but not looks like this lady. Really she is not suitable for your handbags department. Finally, I want to mention is your staffs can hold their phone but not use phone camera face to customer try to take photo. Even they can texting with someone else on their shift. Really they should be avoid for this misunderstanding action (take photo) and keep distance with customers. Thank you!

Nordstrom is one of my favorite dept stores (love Bloomies too). I feel like the category fits right between the Bay and Holt Renfrew. They have items you just can’t get many other places and some beautiful house brands. Only missing one star because the stores in CA don’t have the amazing selection the states do. I figure if I shop often and buy lots maybe the increased revenue will allow to Canada to justify bringing in additional inventory. Is that crazy?HELP ME!!! I know many American chains have recently closed in Canada. Nordstrom. Please stay, Canadians need your elevated style.

Worst customer service, I bought a Burberry bag and bag delivered to us different from the shape we saw online. We showed them the picture of bag posted in Nordstrom website and the bag we received and they admitted discrepancy. Ben (Yorkdale shoping centre) who was the manager refused to honor the price and we ended up returning the item. Burberry should also take action for dishonoring their brand. Ben was unprofessional and did not rightfully represent neither the company or Burberry.

I ordered a pair of shoes that were to be worn for my wedding day; I was reassured by the sales associate that they would arrive on time for my dress fitting. I later found out that the shoes were returned by the store, before ever even shipping to my house (without my knowledge or without notifying me in advance). This is not the type of customer service I expect from Nordstrom and now I am left scrambling to find a pair of shoes in time. Disappointed from this experience.

I’ve met Ly last week when I was browsing around. None of the SAs at shoes section wanted to help and ignored me (maybe I didn’t dress nicely that day) but Ly approached me and asked if I needed help then found me an SA. I want to give a very high compliment to Salesperson Rhea Sison. She should definitely be promoted and be the customer sales person of the year ! I went to the bay to look for spanx for my wedding tomorrow, and wasn't sure. Decided to go to nordstorm was looking around and ask another staff for question if something was in stock, was dismissed and said with a dismissive attitude "whatever you see on the floor is what we have, but we can order it if you want to your house if we have it" then i picked a few items myself and went to the fitting room. I had to call my fiance to come to the fitting room to help me. Then comes Rhea she saw my fiance walked in and asked if i needed help, i have never bought spanx before. She was so friendly and honest. Didnt try to upsell anything and gave me the advice that best suit for my wedding dress and needs. I honestly felt so relieved and happy. If i ever want anything from Nordstorm i am definitely going to ask for Rhea!!(if she isnt promoted yet) - her customer service left such a good impression i want to take some time to write her a survey and review even on the day before my wedding with many things still to do last minute 🤗

Good selection but everything is all over the place. Would expect items consolidated within a group or brand. Why would I find a shoulder bag for Prada on the 3rd floor as well as the second floor?

Great service at the perfume counter! Jason , employed there and showed great commitment and love for what he is doing there. He was excellent, kind and showing me exactly what I was asking him. To the manager , I recommend a raise in salary! He is awesome and I see he loves his job. He will be a great manager one day!

This is the first store where there were ample store associates available for help. One of the associates helped me until I finalized the right pair of shoes for myself. The store is way better than any other store in the mall. I definitely recommend visiting here if you're looking for a personalized shopping experience. They have a nice cafe too.

I just had to share that a young man from the beauty department, Kevin Estrada went out of his way to help me find just the right product I needed. He was polite, attentive and not pushy. This clothing dept store had such helpful staff. Service was so stellar. The gentleman by the Topshop area was so welcoming. You don't get this kind of customer service in most clothing stores at Yorkdale. Some of the staff from other stores make that ugly snooty face. I get people can be demanding and annoying. But there should be respect and basic service at least. I feel good going to Nordstrom and spending my money there.

Great store with so many well known brands sadly they are leaving Canada this spring. Lots of sales in the shoe department I got a pair of Tory Burch jelly sandals. Looking forward to rocking them this summer . Most of the exclusive Brands are not on sale and are already removed from the store . Nonetheless, you can still find some lovely items that are reasonably priced .

Initial store closing sales of only 5% not worth it. Now seeing higher numbers like 40% which is min one would expect for a store closing. Should only get better from here on but less choices and options as time goes by.

I had the most seamless and amazing experience at this location. Exceptional service from Isaiah when I did a curbside pickup! Even during these difficult times, he managed to brighten up my day, and gave me a special treat from the store's coffee shop upstairs! I certainly recommend shopping with him!

To be fair it’s not the store ,, because I enjoy shopping there but an embarrassing accident happened to me with one associate ,, I was shopping for around 30 min ,, wearing a seethroght face mask , my mask is see through full mask (not shield but mask that’s sealed from the top of the nose and goes all the way to cover the chin and cheeks all sealed from sides,, an associate approached me in the second floor and start the conversation “ms. you are not wearing a proper mask “ I replied yes it is proper mask He replied but not approved by the government , so I ask you to leave the store and shop online I left but first of all very rude from associate to ask customer to leave a store ,, even if I was without mask he can offer me a mask like any other store,, plus the government was very clear about the masks and the requirements and my mask I’m using since March with no issue anywhere ,,, and he didn’t even ask if I have medical reason not to wear a mask Also a big store should have one of the available 30 securities to stand by the entrance to explain the store policy about mask if you have something different than the mall ,,, not a random associate asking a customer with a pile of clothes picked already to leave the store .... it’s not the store itself but one associate can caused the store a bad review

Used to be my favourite place to shop. My husband loves Tom Ford, and I purchase a bottle every now and then. The Tom Ford lady Tannaz is extremely rude and stingy. I purchase a $400 fragrance, asking for some samples and get generic Nordstrom sample bottle that dries out in a few days. Twice she said that they don't have glass bottles. When I passed by while leaving the store, she gave me a dirty look and clearly made a comment to her coworker. Strange, but when I came the next day for a lipstick, a blonde girl (didn't catch her name) was nice enough and provided me 2 samples in nice glass bottles with propers labels and even boxes. I like Nordstrom, but choice of people at this location is very questionable, I see old people leaving and they hire absolutely useless people who are rude and have no idea what customer service is. I think it's time to go to Holts instead.
