The park starts at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery and leads to the Brickwork. In recent years, the path was expanded and widen. The "best" parts are next to the ponds near the Brickwork factory where they also hold a weekly farmers' market every Saturday (not in wunter). One can park there ($6 for 2 hours and $24 for 24 hours). The very clean public washrooms are there. The ponds have water lilies, turtles and some fish and the walkway is very leveled and even suitable for people in wheelchairs. At the Brickwork, they hold weekly Saturdays' farmers market and there is a restaurant/coffees hop as well. Please also see additional photos that I posted under the Evergreen Brickwork heading.

It's hard to believe you are still in Toronto when you visit this terrific park. It's a beautiful place to walk and enjoy nature and wildlife - especially during the fall. We even spotted a beaver on our walk today! Take the trail to meet up with the Beltline, which then leads you to Mount Pleasant Cemetery. You can literally walk for miles and miles in Toronto's interconnected ravine system.

Love Don Valley Brick Works Park and I visit each week. Especially now in October with fall here and all the amazing colors. No matter how many times I have visited, walked around all the buildings and trails I see something new each and every time. Perfect area and safe for families and children. The ponds are amazing and all the walk ways across the ponds. Watch for the turtles in the ponds and you have to be looking for them as some very small. Enjoy the photos and the area as much as we do. I will be returning again soon so watch for more interesting photos.

Pretty good. The park is pretty small but well maintained. Probably not suitable for older people - you need to go up the hill quite a bit. The parking is plentiful at $8/day but it gets busy on the weekends.

What a hidden gem right in the middle of Toronto! Just a 10 to 15 min drive from the downtown core. Great to just go for some relaxation or even for a jog/bike ride. It’s especially beautiful in the fall. Due to COVID, the food trucks and stalls are not there but that is a great end to a long walk. For parking, go to Evergreen Brick Works or 550 Bayview Avenue Parking Lot.

Lots of parking. Nice and quiet park. Gentle slops and easy to walk. Great areas for neat brick back drop pictures. Dog friendly.

This is a hidden gem in Toronto. Once in the park it seems we have reached the country side. Fall is the best time with the riot of colors. Great place for all ages. Must visit if you live or visiting Toronto.

This is one of my favourite parks in the city! I first went there many years ago before the buildings were restored as part of a field trip. I learned about the wonderful geological features, like fossils of trilobites and even a giant beaver! However, the beautiful wetlands were what captured my heart. It’s so amazing to see wildlife like snapping turtles and blue herons in the city! I highly recommend hiking up to the lookout, especially in autumn to take in all the glorious colours.

We went for a short hiking at the park and Beltline Trail this week. The park is really nice with flowers, pond and hills. It is close to the downtown area, about 15 mins driving.

A very huge park with awesome trails. Especially when the time of autumn fall this park is a heaven. Get your DSLRs or smart phones with batteries loaded to click those magnificent scenery. I just overwhelmed by the beauty of the fall colours and enjoyed a lot.

The Brickworks presents an outstanding example of bringing nature back to a former industrial site. Flora and fauna abound. Turtles of all sizes and ages, fish, a birder's delight encompassed by nature paths. The geology of the area is on display.

It is now quite different from years ago when the vegetation was still young. This place is worth a visit if you are in Toronto and want a little escape from the city. It is so close to downtown Toronto. You can walk from Sherborne Station (less than 30 mins) or even from Yonge Station, through the beautiful Rosedale neighbourhood. The trail head by South Rd is a little bumpy which might not be ideal for strollers. Parking is not free but it's more convenient if you don't want to walk from Chorley Park (yes, free street parking up there). There's a cafe with patio, a public washroom, a store, bike rental, ice cream shop, and of course the Farmers Market on Saturdays. There are picnic tables by the Farmers Market and a few muskoka chairs by the Lily pond. Signage can be improved as I still struggle to find certain spots I visited years ago.

A great trail for feeling nature, however some part of trail has been shut down at the moment. Today, I saw a deer family. Two weeks ago, I saw a tiny turtle baby on the path. 28 buses take to there from Davisville Station. There are shuttle bus to get there(I dun know where the boarding spot)

Very beautiful park in middle of city. You cant imagine there would be such a remote place just besides a highway. You can also continue your walk toward mount pleasant cemetery if you’d like to walk more

Loved walking the paths saying hello to friendly people. After an hour I felt the city life, the stress ,the traffic, the rushing strangers lift away to be replaced by songs of birds, wide open vistas of the sky , the rustling and shimmering of trees and brushes and an inner experience of calm. go and forests bathe today.πŸ’—πŸ•Š

Great place to go biking, or for a hike or run. Has a lot of vegetation and wildlife. Make sure to carry bug spray. The don river passes nearby and the banks of it is a serene place. There are road biking trails and MTB trails both of which are really fun to ride.

Beautiful park and the trails in the middle of Toronto. Great place for walking, hiking. The dense nature trails is worth a visit. We walked all the way from this place directly to Sherburne station. To complete the trail from Evergreen Brick works till the end of this park took about an hour or so. Overall it was a escape into nature. Will visit again.
