Tried only the carrot cake vanilla icing. Worst cake in my entire life. No flavor and no taste. Wastage of $29. Nobody could eat in our family. Everyone laughed at me as I bought this.

Actually, I only came here because Slanted Door (the cafe two stores down) was crowded. And a pleasant find! The decor is extremely homely, with a nice relaxing green palette and lots of plants. I know theyre big for their vegan selection, but honestly the price is so good for the stuff they offer. Coffee is $1.50 before tax, and I got a chocolate croissant, all together it was $3.75. CASH ONLY. Location is 3 min walk from Bathurst station. Very nice place to study and read a book. Noise level is quiet.

My friend had one of their cupcakes, took a bite and spat it out right after. I thought "okay wow that's dramatic, how can a cupcake be bad enough to spit it out". I tasted it and instantly understood why. I think it may have been the worst thing I ever put in my mouth (that's saying a lot!). The cake tasted like DUST and the icing like DRY WALL. I'm not exaggerating, that's literally the best words I could find to describe it.

Finally, I've found our go-to bakery for family ocassions! So happy that it's only 15 minutes away from our house by TTC. The owners are very kind and they have beautiful and delicious all-natural cakes without chemicals and additives. My son cannot have cane sugar because it triggers seizures, so we can really only have sugarfree cakes made with sugar substitutes. Kensington Natural Bakery has vegan, gluten-free, sugarfree, and eggless cake options. Exactly what I was looking for! The cake we got for my husband's birthday was their Cocoa Rice Cake. It's made with rice flour and agave syrup. It's really pretty, tastes perfect, and is all-natural. And I'm glad that I was able to get a specialty cake at the last minute! Thank you, Kensington Natural Bakery, for your nutritious and delicious treats! 🍰

I eat gluten free and so thought I'd give this place a try. I got a piece of pumpkin loaf and a cookie. And they were both sooooo dry. I understand gluten free baking is hard, but these were pretty brutal. I think if all you care about is the gluten/wheat free part and don't care whether something is vegan or sugar free, I'd pass on this place.

Sunken cake covered with extra icing. This is what they give their customers who pay extra to get keto vegan cakes. If the cake doesn’t come out good they should bake another one and not cheat their customers by covering it up. We technically paid for the icing and felt so cheated.

Most of the things are Vegan and healthy product. It all taste great, the best thing about this place is the PRICE. Compare to other vegan places in Toronto, their quality is up there, however, the price is 2 times lower. 8 inch vegan cake for $30. Other places you can even get a 6 inch tiny vegan cake for $30. Really nice place.

Very friendly and welcoming but their food are over priced for what they are and not very good at all. I am diabetic and was hoping to find good diabetic friendly baked goods here. Not my taste at all.

Loved the freshly squeezed juice & baked goods! I really liked how they taste “natural”. The server was kind and the atmosphere is antique which is a bonus. Will definitely cpme back 😊

This place can be a hit or miss. Great prices and service. But some of the treats are stale and bland. Some however are tasty, especially seeing it might have substitute ingredients to meet dietary restrictions.

I loved this little bakery. It's small and cozy and if you blink twice you might miss it but it was such a lovely surprise. They cater for vegans and persons who eat gluten free and the treats are sugar free. The prices were also amazingly affordable. I will be back

Absolutely the best, most refreshing real-fruit frozen yogurt! Also, the owner is SO nice. Today, just as I was leaving, I accidentally tilted my hand and my frozen yogurt fell off the cone and onto the floor :'( The worst, right? She very kindly made me a brand new one, at no extra cost. Wonderful local place :)

I tasted their vegan chocolate banana cake and the regular vanilla cheesecake and both tasted horrible and like rotten food. I had to throw them after one bite of each. I have tried several healthier vegan places and have had good experiences but this one was absolutely the worst. I will never go here again.

Very cozy and unpretentious spot. Brimming with plants, flyers from people in the community posted everywhere. It's usually quiet and the temperature control is comfortable. It makes an excellent place to relax, have a coffee or two, and people-watch. It also makes a good space for focused reading or studying. I really love this cafe and I hope you visit it to appreciate the unique charm of this place very rooted in the community.

Great Natural Vegetarian Bakery I Highly Recommend as I Found this Delightful Delicious Place and was So Excited The Fact I was Able to get my son's Birthday Cake from them as he has Allergies to Milk and Corn. The baker himself a fine gentleman explained to me all the ingredients in the cake to reassure me it was perfect for my son and safe and he even piped for free the message upon the cake as well.

A friend brought their vegan quiche to a brunch at my home and I thought it was great - I am not vegan and would choose this bakery’s version over real egg quiche :) better texture to me

Terrible. 😱😨. I tried the cookies and the keto chocolate cupcake and lord Jesus help us all, it tasted terribly. The texture was grainy and reminded of beach sand. The taste is bad and I was not able to finish anything, which tells a lot about the taste of the product as I have a sweet tooth

A hidden gem in the Annex neighbourhood. I can't believe that this place is not popular! Unpretentious, affordable and good. Friendly staff and even has wifi. Highly recommended.

I and my mom stumbled onto this incredible place, dhe had an iced coffe, I had a drip coffee and we shared an incredible vegan cooking. The cashier gave us great customer service also

I ordered a cake for my mothers 90th birthday and she is diabetic - they were so very helpful with the order, discussed options and ideas, ended up with a REAL red velvet cake (no food colouring) with agave instead of sugar and the result was a moist delicious cake we all thoroughly enjoyed and there are some serious bakers in my family. My only regret is that I don’t have a photo of it!

I gotta say I'm pretty impressed. Vegan / sugar free/ vegetarian baked goods and food. The pastry are actually pretty tasty. The bread is substantially hardy with qaulity ingredients. The meals are great to take home and supplement your dinner dishes as sides. I'll be making more stops into this little shop. Prices are very reasonable. Next family event I'll be getting the dessert and pastry from here

Nice products for diabetics and people on diet in general. The ingredient used are natural and non-GMO. The danish or other cakes are made with maple syrup or even with no sugar. I encourage and recommend those type of place, it is rare to have them in Toronto.

I was worried to order a cake at first because of some negative reviews but the cake turned out to be great!!!!

Great local bakery. Was able to make a keto cake for pickup later in the day, and it was delicious!

As a person who is gf/vegan I was really excited and happy about this place! I had gone a few times and enjoyed the products. However today when I got the $8.99 3 salad specials, the vegetables and food had white slime on it aka spoilage bacteria! The food had a spoiled smell to it. I’m assuming that the salads are not made fresh everyday. Really disappointed, not just because of the waste of money but because it’s one less option. Would not recommend unless you want spoiled/moldy products.

Really love the unpretentious approach to gluten-free, diabetic free food. The prices are a lot better than ‘trendy’ gluten free places where you are mainly paying for the exposed brick and fancy coffee machine. The food tastes wholesome and handmade. If you want something that ‘tastes’ like European baking etc it’s not the right place for you. But I actually feel a lot better with the lower sugar levels and more nutritious ingredients.

I would avoid the Keto treats - cookies, cupcakes, and cakes. Everything I have tried has been dry and tasteless. Tea wasn’t hot. However, staff are lovely and it is a nice little place to sit quietly and have a coffee. I would just stick to the vegan food offerings and skip the keto stuff. I do like the banana breads.
