If I had the ability to put zero stars I would. We had reservations for 5. Upon arriving no clean tables were ready and we were put at table for two, when there is a group of five. After asking multiple times they cleaned another table. As at the beginning we were told the hostess didn’t feel like cleaning tables. Almost all appetizer were out of stock. Order was not taken properly. When we told the waiter the fries are recooked and drenched in oil, she advised me no point in requesting for another one as it won’t change the quality. I would advise to stay and eat at any other restaurant around this location. Amsterdam brewery is an excellent choice. Even Harvey’s and Swiss chalet are much better than this. If you want to eat at shoeless go to the new market location as the chef actually cares about the food quality and the waiters their care about your experience. The oil on the napkin is from just small piece of fries.

Walked by on a weekday, it seemed to be busy but they were able to accommodate a large group without reservations. Seated by the bar, tennis match playing on the screen, the crowd was hyped! Ambiance outside was also nice, patio seating, plenty of fresh flowers cover the patio space. Food: we all tried various appetizers & nonalcoholic drinks which they very courteous to create for us. Buffalo poutine: very delicious, was not expecting waffle fries but it was good. Quesadilla: a bit on the soggy side, they were limp. Cauliflower Buffalo: tasty, cooked to perfection. Overall, we enjoyed our time.

My friends and I had the worst experience at Shoeless Joe’s. There were 8 of us who arrived for lunch prior to a Jay’s game. The restaurant was not busy at the time, yet we waited over half an hour for drinks, and even longer to place our food order. When our drinks were brought out there were mistakes, and when our food was brought out there were also mistakes. In one instance, my friend was given a bowl instead of a burger. The waitress said she’d rush the order. It came over 20 minutes later… the burger was dry, there was a long hair in the centre of it, and it had zero sauce. Her salad was brown. As for the other meals, the chicken sandwich had the smallest piece of chicken on it, and the souvlaki bowls had only one small skewer of chicken and zero dressing… overall poor experience. EDIT JUNE 24, 2022 I was told I would receive a call from someone from the restaurant and never did. I contacted them multiple times with. I response.

This restaurant is sports themed grill and bar. we can get casual dinning with a focus on sports entertainment. There are a variety of pub style food like burgers, wings, sandwiches, salads and various appetizers. There are multiple screens broadcasting live sports events. We enjoyed watching live ice hockey with meals. The time we visited was not that much busy even at lunch time. All the regular drinks are quite expensive. Food is okay. Service is so late. It takes 40 minutes to get food after our order. Little bit disappointing. Otherwise good to go one time.

Service was slow on a not at all busy Saturday afternoon, food was almost cold, fries were not fresh-cut, even maybe old! The only good thing about my experience - and the only reason I'm not giving one star to the restaurant - was the taste of the burger which was actually good. The décor is nice, there's even a small TV next to each table for you to watch the match that's on air. There are different table options and even a patio to choose from.

We enjoyed our food but server was a little harried. Then tried to overcharge us. The manager reminded me of a lurker.

Food was tasty.. great spot for a chill night out The server was very polite and we got our food good time. There’s a patio as well, we didn’t have to wait long to be seated which was great.

The place and staff are good. The food is a little good It is not very expensive The location is perfect and near the lake and harbourfront trail 👣 👌. There are some chairs indoors and outdoors for sitting and eating food. There are many choices for the food menu. There are some beverages and cocktails for drinking.

Food was very good. I recommend the mini Nashville Chicken sliders for sure. The main burger and salad were also good. I did feel like the service was a little slow, it was quite empty when we got there but the waitress also had to tend the bar. Obviously you aren’t getting as much from a couple out on a Friday night than a bunch of guys at the bar but that shouldn’t make our service any slower in my opinion.

Visited this place twice while I was staying in Radisson Blu Toronto downtown for our family winter vacation during the holidays. We ordered different food every time. Everything was delicious! Great atmosphere. I recommend it.

I just wanted to thank Ray for his excellent service and kind gesture of allowing me to use his puffer during an asthma attack. I'm delighted I discovered this establishment and will definitely return, of course for the food. I really liked the mood and the surroundings. Employees are friendly, and Ray, the boss, is fantastic. I can't wait to test the food and drinks; I'm sure they'll be delicious. Thank you once more, Ray!

Don't come here if you care about sports. They advertise that they are showing it, I've been watching UFC for almost 20 years, and I've never had so much glitching and freezing in a stream. When I brought it up to the manager (who carries himself more like a gangster than a manager) I was essentially told that I should be grateful that they didn't charge me a cover and to just deal with it. They were unwilling to do anything, whether it was calling their cable company or even apologizing for the inconvenience. I went down the street to another bar and everything was fine there (and, no, they didn't charge me cover). At $12 a beer, this place is a waste of your time, money, and dignity.

Good! Sat out on the patio, but be aware that the couches closest to the sidewalk are over a grate over about a 10 meter drop, so don't drop your cellphone! Food came pretty quickly, one of our sides was mixed up but it was replaced quickly. Interior and bathrooms were as clean as could be expected.

Server was so kind since the poutine was too much salty then sever served new poutine in 10min and it was good. The overall taste of poutine was so disappointing point cause the sauce was too artificial and it was not traditional original poutine. The gravy sauce should be fixed. It’s too salty and dark brown colour. The royal long island tea was so good.

Not impressed overall. The food was ok, and the server was nice. Unfortunately, I tried my best not to laugh out loud when I saw my bill that included 30 dollars for 3 shots of fireball whisky. When I asked why it was so expensive the server stated that fireball is considered a “premium” liquor. Wish all the best for the restaurant since it’s in a good location but I won’t be back anytime soon.

First and foremost, the service was good and fairly fast considering it was busy after a jays game. Food was mediocre. My daughters children’s meal was extremely salty, my wife’s chicken burger was excellent, my wings were ok, and my side Caesar salad was great. Dessert, Reese’s cheesecake, was well overpriced for the size but it tasted delicious. All in all it was ok and it did the trick. Would I come back, possibly.

Great service, very good value for the food. Staff were really friendly even though we went in fairly close to closing time. Food was not greasy or overly oily, all the vegetables (and salad) were fresh. Sauces were good - definitely great for a diner. Had a great waiter named David, very committed, very considerate. Also had a lovely hostess but didn't get her name unfortunately. Definitely recommend this place.

I’ve tried the Jumbo Blue Freezie Bowl and the Parmesan Crusted Chicken Rigatoni. The jumbo blue freezie bowl is so big! The cup was so heavy to lift up! Just like the name the flavour is reminiscent of those blue freezies that I’ve had growing up. I can barely taste the alcohol to be honest, and to be fair it’s only supposed to be around 3oz. I was able to drink this all by myself and it just tasted more like a mock tail than cocktail. The drink is overall good and great value but there was way too much ice than what I like. As for the Parmesan Crusted Chicken Rigatoni, I’ve ordered this under the recommendation of my friend. I’ve also added cheese to the garlic bread. This was a great choice! The chicken breast was well seasoned. Usually I would like to dip chicken breast in some sort of dipping sauce but I thought this was good on its own. The rigatoni noodles was covered in rich creamy mushroom sauce with red bell peppers, mushrooms and grape tomatoes. I think this dish was very big and filling! I only ate like 20% of it and had to take the rest to go. To be fair my drink took up most of the space for me. Overall the food was decent. I think the service overall wasn’t spectacular but it wasn’t outright horrible. The lights did flicker so much though.

It took a bit too long at the start to get service but we received a beautiful outdoor table overlooking the CN tower. Spicy chicken sandwich was good and fairly priced.

My mistake! I always enter the restaurants and then I read the reviews. I ordered grilled calamari and I asked the waiter if they have it and he confirmed that they do and I ordered roasted beets and goat cheese salad and an onion soup. The waiter came back and asked me if I wanted chicken or shrimp on my salad I asked him if it was extra he said $2. I said fine put chicken on it. He came back again and said sorry it’s $5.99 extra. I was not surprised and said it’s ok. After 30 minutes I noticed another waiter was wondering around with calamari in one hand and a bowl of salad on the other. I called him I noticed calamari was fried and the salad was souvlaki chicken bowl. I told him mine was supposed to be grilled and the salad was supposed to be roasted beets. While they brought the food there was no cultry on the table. He said he was going to take care of it and took back the food. Waited another 15 minutes waiter brought my correct salad with tiny chicken pieces on it. Looked like the chef took the souvlaki chicken sticks which was on the wrong salad and with hand made it into small pieces. I ate the salad and asked the waiter for my calamari. He said oh sorry we don’t have the grilled calamari. I told him and you did not bother yourself to inform me. Again he apologized. I asked for his manager. He came. I guess his name was Danny. I told him what was happened and he did me a favour and took out the calamari which I did not have off my bill. Thx a lot

I've been here 4 times. Got served by a nice daytime bartender few months back and more recently had a decent experience. Walked in Friday night and was sat at the bar for 11 minutes wasn't even greeted by the bartender who saw me coming in. That person was Busy chatting to a table. The host and what looked like the manager saw me sitting without service and did nothing.I got up and walked out. It was a quite night in there as it being the long weekend and honestly there was a putrid smell there. I'm in the hospitality industry myself for 12 years. I see when there is a complete disinterest in customer service. I am more upset that the manager saw me and was standing up like a statue at the host stand with the host. Very poor. Won't be back.

Nice decor and cozy, friendly atmosphere. The service and food were really good, flatbread with shrimp was delicious. My son enjoyed his hamburger and fries. Will definitely recommend.

We shared a nachos and found that it was plenty of food for 2. We liked that it included the occasional black bean, and my partner liked the hot peppers. I wasn't fond of the cheese, which to me seemed a little processed. But my partner liked it. So, some people will. But the chips were very crispy and overall it had a very good taste.

absolutely terrible service. I got my artichoke dip and drinks after 50 minutes of waiting. JUST CHIPS AND DRINKS. The waiter did not even remember that they took my order. I’m pretty sure when we gave them our order, the waiter forgot to send it in and after asking what happened they said “oh it should be here.” But it wasn’t???? No other explanation or apologies. Time is money and we spent way more time waiting for our food and drinks to arrive intead of actually getting to enjoy what we ordered.

Pros: this place was honestly great. The food and the service was amazing. We went to watch the leafs game and they had many screens to watch. It was a good atmosphere. Cons: the two stars is for the false advertising on their menu. Their happy hour which starts after 9pm does not apply during “major” sports games. Luckily we asked about the happy hour before ordering otherwise we would have been scammed into buying drinks and ordering food. I feel like they should make this more transparent that happy hour does not apply during major sports events rather than writing it in fine print. Overall: great restaurant but just read the fine print on happy hours before going.

Stopped by Shoeless Joes earlier this afternoon and we had an absolutely wonderful experience. The staff was so kind - the waitress was awesome! We had the spinach, artichoke and goat cheese dip to start and it was absolutely delicious. Both of our entrees were delicious as well & the drinks were great as well! Overall a very great experience in such a cute bar! Would go again 😊 highly recommend!
