A Nightmare Experience – Car Stolen and No Help from the Hotel!!! My family recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at this Hotel, and I must say it was a complete disaster from start to finish. Their car being stolen right from the hotel parking lot was the icebreaker. The lack of security measures in the parking area was evident. They had trusted that their vehicle would be safe while staying at a supposedly reputable hotel, but it was sorely mistaken. After discovering their car was missing, my family immediately went to the front desk to report the incident. The staff's response was shockingly apathetic. The indifference displayed by the staff during such a stressful time was deeply disappointing. They offered no real assistance in terms of contacting the authorities or providing any compensation for my family’s loss. It was as if they wanted to wash their hands of any responsibility as quickly as possible. My family have been stripped of their dignity and I strongly advise anyone considering a stay here to think twice and prioritize the safety of yourself and your kids. This hotel's negligence has left my family in a state of suffering and completely devastated by this tragic incident.

As a large Hilton hotel, there are certain expectations. This hotel met those, but there were a few areas of concern. First off - our hotel room was upgraded to a suite with a kitchenette. This was great! Generally, things were clean. However, there were a lot of crumbs pushed underneath the TV stand, and I found a weird plastic container in my bed - but other than that it was fine. I believe the dishwasher was leaking a bit in the kitchenette the night we were there as we found water on the floor. The beds were very comfortable, and the hotel was very quiet. The bathroom was clean and comfortable - though the door to the bedroom was frosted glass so you can't turn on the light if you get up in the middle of the night or you might disturb the other person sleeping. Also - parking is $10 - which for a suburban hotel seemed kind of ridiculous. There was not much in the immediate area, it's very suburban and located on a busy highway. Abdul at the front desk was very professional, and all of the employees seemed to be very courteous.

Booked an executive (10th floor) suite, however the room provided was in a bad state of disrepair. The carpet had numerous stains and splotches, the doors were stained with splatters of various kinds (coffee. ketchup, paint, tea?), the bathroom was awful (soap tray in the shower stall was RUSTY), the water pressure would go if the person next door was using the shower or if you flushed the toilet, sometimes even if the hot water was turned on it would go freezing cold (again a function of someone else using the water in an adjacent room). I have never experienced such faulty plumbing in a hotel. The king-size bed was in bad shape, it was lumpy and as soft as a marshmallow, it was well past its expiry date. Ended up getting a very bad backache and sleeping on the couch!! There is no business center for executives (so why even have this sham of an "executive floor") and even though they are in the middle of suburbs they charge $10 per night for parking. The breakfast buffet ($28/person) is not worth it - bacon, eggs, sausages and some pastries etc - maybe worth $10 but no more. The complimentary breakfast in the Executive lounge has all the same staples (apart from some extra pastries). Incredibly disappointed with my stay here.

What a fantastic place to stay. The staff were top notch from the front desk to the cleaning and maintenance staff. We were greeted by every employee we encountered and they were happy to make your stay as memorable as possible. The rooms were spotless and modern, very spacious with big windows. The pool was a decent size and was sectioned off for people who wanted to lane swim and a section for the kids that wanted to play. I will be back every time I stay in the area!

First day We arrived here around at 4pm with my 4 family. But our rooms is not ready to check in. We have to wait over an hour's able to check in 4 rooms. I can't believe it take so long to get our rooms ready. Then later the evening my mom and son went to the gym try to work out but one of the employee yell at them and told them to get out. When they told me the next day what happened. I was upset to hear that. Then the next when we come back around 430 pm. Our rooms not even service yet. At this point I went down to customer service and talk to the manager Al and address to him what happened. He told me he will find out and address to the departments will get back to me in an hrs. I said ok we are staying here for 4 days. Til day Thursday no response from Hilton. I was so disappointed and even this place is really dirty all surface was dusty never wipe it down and this place has kitchen in it but the hard wares dirty and never wash. Cabinet surface has stain on it. We spent time to wipe down the area. The second days my room and my sister room the toilet won't flash and bathroom light was out . We call the service they only come fix the toilet and didn't fix the light. We have to call AGAIN. This is my first time staying at Hilton and possibly my last time staying at Hilton.,👎 I have contacted Hilton management they didn't do anything only apology. But I told then why am I paying full service but they only service our rooms every other day. But they didn't answer.👎

The lobby bar was a nice place to relax. The staff was helpful and friendly and we have nothing negative to say regarding our suite. Sunday brunch was spectacular with seafood , a carving station, omelet station, dessert station and all the other things one would expect. The only brunch item lacking was pancakes, waffles or French toast.

Amazing hotel! Great attentive staff, Grace and Ali at the front are outstanding, they go above and beyond to meet your requests. I felt very valued as a Diamond member, the lounge and food is great, their ability to adapt during covid to still offer great service was refreshing from other properties. Rooms are very clean and spacious, it’s nice having every room a suite, very quiet within the room. Bathrooms are nicely done in marble, although they feel a bit dated and a nice shower stall update I feel is needed. I recommend to anyone and will return for sure.

Room are very clean and nice. Booked for a hockey tournament with many different teams. And our team was scattered all over the hotel. Loading up a whole hotel with hockey teams and using 3/4 of the pool for swim lessons is not a good idea. Especially when the swim instructor wants the boys to be quite and not play. Overall the hotel is good but not recommended with kids teams or groups.

We stayed a night with the kids for our 10 year wedding anniversary since we had our wedding reception here. Place looks a bit aged and our room needs a deep clean in some hidden areas. (Ex: dust covering vent duct)

Initially the bathroom smelled so we asked if they could change the shower curtains and clean the toilets and it was much better. The rooms are a little dated but big. They responded very quickly and service was great. The gym is amazing.

The hotel is really nice. They have halls for programs/conferences. The food was amazing. They have a huge parking space also we need to pay for the parking. The staff were friendly and attentive. It is a good place to attend conferences. Thank you so much:)

Overall the hotel is decent, the rooms were clean and well thought out. The main structural issue in the rooms are the showers. The doors are not long enough, so the bathroom floor floods every time. The breakfast at the hotel was also mediocre, with items being slow to be replenished (waited 20 mins for a milk re-up). The service was well intentioned but seemed disjointed overall. People were not familiar with the policies of the hotel. The microwave available for guests use was a dirty old thing in a dirty weird room. The devil is in the details, and some of those details were missing l. The hotel is walking distance to a variety of restaurants. Overall, I would stay here again if the price was right, but it seemed like more staffing is needed.

Our family stayed at the Hilton Markham Suites for two weekends in April for local sporting event. The suite was large and beds super comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast at the hotel restaurant and all of the great restaurants in the area including all of the Chinese options close by. When we had a concern, management addressed it immediately and to our great satisfaction. The attached fitness centre is a great bonus. Highly recommended.

Careful about the TV entertainment system! I got charged $300 extra for movies my kids selected but did not watch. If you have kids don't let them play with the TV remote. I contacted the hotel and Hilton main office without any help.

We stayed here for 7 days so got to see the service throughout the stay. The executive lounge was great. The food was a little different everyday and the guy managing the breakfast was very attentive. The evening service was not as big as breakfast as there is less people I guess but the daily snacks were fine. What we didn't like about the hotel unfortunately was the service around the in room water bottles. Housekeeping gives you 2 water bottles a day but they occasionally forget. One day we only got 1 so asked if we could have another but housekeeping seemed inconvenienced to give us one. The 2nd time they forgot to give us any water bottles at all and when we asked the front desk they simply told us to go buy at the vending machine. I don't get why they seem so stingy about giving you the 2 daily water bottles that they say you should have each day. I'd suggest just buying a case from a store instead. We were hoping to use the pool however felt it was too confusing to book and the way to get there required a long walk around from the front desk. We had young kids so felt this was too much for us so didn't end up using it.

The place was nice , accommodating to the kids. The check in staff were fantastic, however the gentleman at the front door was useless and unfriendly. The fitness area is shared with an athletic club and there are a few issues with that , the club members hate that hotel guests are there and we’re not afraid to express it , it’s really too far from the actual hotel and you need to reserve time to use it… all of which makes it inconvenient vs an amenity.

We often come markham and stay at different hotel. My kid looks forward to swim the most, and when I came they told us the pool needs reservation. And I tried to call two times, no space available. Nonsense. None of the hotels we stayed required that, you just enjoy swimming within the operation hours! I think the whole fitness facility own by a fitness club so it's shared between thir members PLUS this big hotel's guests. I paid so much and I ended up having to book the earliest AM time slot and rushed my kid to inhale her breakfast for going to the pool on our reserved time. Ridiculous. Plus parking needs to pay. Also the beds are so small, smaller than any other hotels around this area. Washroom and the room are dated. Staff is very friendly, the only positive thing. I won't come back and don't recommend this hotel.

This hotel has several concerning issues, including the lack of parking, harassment of guests, and poor customer service. The absence of parking facilities can be a significant inconvenience for guests, especially those with vehicles. Also, reports of harassment and poor customer service are alarming and unacceptable. Guests should feel safe and well-treated during their stay. The alleged incident involving the intimidation of a 14-year-old girl is deeply troubling and should be thoroughly addressed by the hotel management. Such behavior is completely unacceptable and should not be tolerated in any accommodation establishment, especially one hosting young guests for a tournament. These issues collectively raise serious concerns about the hotel's suitability for hosting events such as a hockey tournament.

We liked our family staycation at this Hilton branch. The front desk team was nice and friendly specially Bianca who made our stay very comfy! We had our brunch buffet at The Essence of Unionville restaurant, the staff there was also great! It was an overall great experience for my family and I would highly recommend this branch!

I've stayed at this hotel before for business meetings. Great location. The quality in staff professionalism and friendliness appears to have gone down the drain. Front desk were knowledgeable and friendly. The two women overseeing breakfast entry and the servers behaviours were odd. Not what you'd expect at your average 4 star hotel experience. My husband was dressed in sweatpants and not professionally compared to the other gentlemen being serviced, there was a clear difference in demeanor and behaviour towards him. I wouldn't recommend staying here unless you want to be judged from head-to-toe. Hire better staff.

Stayed here about 100 times in the last 7 years. Last stay was for 2 nights at new years 2024, when a security guard took apron himself to destroy a long term loyalty I had for this hotel. Abusive and intimidating and no business being allowed around customers. Spoke to hotel manager about incident after my stay to avoid retaliation while I was there, even though incident happened on first night, and never heard a thing back. This was my home away from home since moving to Quebec from Markham, but I will move on to another hotel. Disappointing, but I think customer service died with Covid. First bad review I have left in my life. William

Stayed here and had a great experience. Rooms are very updated and clean, staff are very friendly and accommodating. Bar and restaurant on site with great selections, Spa on site as well as corner store for any snacks/things you may have missed. Will definitely be coming back, 10/10 highly recommended!

This is a big hotel and conference center. The room they gave me is large with a kitchenette and living room, separate office room, kinda small bathroom and bedroom with a king bed. It is a nice room, quiet location considering where we are. The front desk staff and valet are very nice. Rooms are a little dated when you look close, but are very clean. Would recommend.

The hotel is beautiful with comfy bed and a nice bathroom. However, there is no microwave in the room for an expensive hotel and top of that is very hard to rest or sleep in peace as it is build cheaply. Please do not put kids above someone, they should be on the ground floor as they cause many disturbances. There is always some constant noise and kids running and jumping above your head. I have nothing against kids but it is not okay to pay so much and not being able to have peace . Some people have medical conditions and need to rest even from work. If the place was build of concrete sure put the kids anywhere but not when is cardboard .

Good quality of Chinese food. Lot of free parking spots if u'r the guests of the restaurant or hotel guests. Otherwise it will need to be changed for parking. The service is very good n the Sunday brunch is very good choice if u want a decent place n good quality. Come n check it out.

The hotel lobby areas are clean and aesthetically pleasing. The rooms are also a fairly large size. Even the smallest rooms have a separate seating area. I took one star off because the space needs to be updated ...especially the bathrooms.

Beautiful hotel, nice rooms, excellent housekeeping and bartender. Being a Hilton Honors Diamond member and having a room on the 10th floor, we had access to the Executive lounge for breakfast and evening reception, but they only allow 2 guests per room, so my son could not join us without paying 16.95. All he ate was toast and juice and we still had to pay- every day, twice a day for him to be with us and not alone in the room. Absolutely ridiculous. You can’t get in that lounge without a key carded to the tenth floor, yet we were harassed every time for our room number and to pay for our son. I have never had that happen at a Hilton before (Embassy Suites, Hampton Inn, etc) or even at the cheap Super 8 we had just stayed at that had breakfast. What’s the point of a Diamond Honors Lounge if you have to pay extra for it? You already have to pay extra for the tenth floor yet they charge you again? Skip this hotel if there are more than 2 of you. There are better options.

The bed size is smaller than usual. Seems the indoor pool is not owned by Hilton so you need to make reservations before you go. The policy was changing from day to day (sometimes waiver sometimes address) and hard to get towels. Besides above, the room is super clean.

This hotel is definitely worse for wear. I've been here multiple times, and the rooms in the main building are in complete disarray. We were placed in a room on the 6th floor and the room was so humid and muggy I could barely breathe. We were quickly switched to a new room on the same floor but experienced the same issue. The ventilation on the whole floor was terrible. The rooms are dark and dingy with very little natural light, and the furniture is warn down. I would not stay in the main building ever again. However, the front desk is very nice, and the restaurant team is great. For the price, I would stay elsewhere.

This Hilton is great if you're looking for a huge room at a lower cost. The room was gigantic. Room service was super fast and polite. Front desk was great as well. Menu in restaurant was ok and not really a value for what it was. Bar service was good. Biggest issue is with facility. It is dated (not a big deal) but we weren't impressed with maintenance/cleanliness of the room. Ours had an off odor that was unpleasant. In fairness we did not complain as this was a family trip with little time spent in the room. Shower glass leaked in a small spot. Just never felt super clean. Overall this is a value if you're not looking for a cushy hang-out kind of room but something functional and large.

Very spacious hotel! Clean, amazing decor, and easy parking situation. I wasn't a big fan of the pool area as it was very small and primarily targeted for kids. Would love to have a wider/adult pool. Otherwise the stay at this hotel felt very luxurious and peaceful.

Very nice hotel, friendly front desk, spacious room, and nice housekeeping staff. The location is great, near shopping and restaurants. I have stayed at this hotel for three times. As a diamond member you have access to executive lounge where you can get breakfast (6:30-9:30am) and afternoon snacks (5-7pm). If price difference is not big, I would strongly recommend getting the kitchen suite. It is a lot more spacious and you have full size kitchen, fridge and microwave and dinning table and four chairs. Pots and dishes are provided too. I am taking a star off because I was badly treated by the waitress lady working in the executive lounge in the morning of July 16th (a tall white lady whom I did not get the name). The breakfast area was busy that morning and I was sitting at a bar seat. There was a gentleman sitting next me. He finished eating and left. The waitress lady came by a few minutes later and just assumed that those dirty plates were from me. She asked “are you done with these because there were lots of people waiting for seating” Funny that she would assume that I took two seats and scattered around. I was appalled and did not know what to say…

Had my wedding here on June 24, 2023 and it was a great success. We worked with Debby Lam (Assistant Director of Catering) and she was extremely responsive and helpful. Debby was really organized and did a great job keeping track of our numerous requests and minor changes for our big day. There were a few minor mix-ups (set up, meal assignments) during the wedding day, but they were resolved very promptly. The Hilton staff were quick to offer help with bringing us a cart to help transport our wedding cupcakes, as well as provide materials for our helpers to create a backdrop using tape and a tablecloth. There was one minor error/miscommunication over an extra meal charge, but Hilton was quick to resolve it and honoured the original terms of the agreement which we appreciated. My spouse and I were very happy and pleased with our experience. The guests really loved the venue and gave a lot of good feedback on the venue and food.

Wonderful hotel with enormous and spacious suites which we thoroughly enjoyed. The hotel rooms did feel a little on the older side but we were generally very happy. The standard yet classic spread of breakfast buffet, which was fantastic, great service there. Unfortunately they were inflexible on a late checkout, most probably because of the weekend. Lots of parking available and very close to Downtown Markham. Definitely would stay here again.

My stay at this hotel was not as good as I had hoped it to be. There was both good and bad aspects that made it a very “mid” experience. ~ The good: The room was spacious and offered a lot of workspace. There is beautiful architecture on the main floor. The exterior is aesthetic, decorated with beautiful plants and greenery. There is a cool phone sanitizing machine by the front-desk. I really appreciate the small getting-ready area in my room. I appreciated the full-sized bottles of shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and moisturizer provided in the washroom. The staff was mostly kind and friendly. They offer free items like flip-flops and toothpaste upon request. ~ The bad: I was told that we would get called when our room was ready as we were 2 hours early for the check in time (1pm). We waited until 3pm to find out our room was already ready but never got a call, which wasted our time waiting in the lobby. The room is not the most clean: There was drippy pink makeup stains on the left side of the washroom that never got cleaned. The toilet buttons looked unclean. There were dusty hardwood floors under the sink. I found a few stains on the carpet that looked like blood. There was a small bit of garbage on the floor. I found the communication between the hotel employees seriously lacking: We called for flip flops but they didn't get delivered until I called again 30 min later. We called for toothpaste but they didn't arrive until I called again 1 hour later. I was very kind and didn’t complain as I have experience working in the service industry, but it seemed the employees didn’t feel very sorry for how long I had to wait to get what we requested for. ~ Beware: The room service has a lot of extra charges. Our total bill was $17 more than just the food and drinks. $3 delivery fee, 15% service fee, HST, (Optional) I added a 10% tip. I feel there’s no need for a delivery fee when there’s also a service fee. Tipping before Ive had my food also seems unfair considering the food wasn’t of the best quality. I had a small eggshell in my poached eggs which was soaking in a bit of water when it arrived. A small glass of apple juice was priced at $6 which seems extreme. I understand that we’re paying for the cost of convenience but for an extra $13 (without tip) thats quite a bit. ~ Overall feedback: I’m quite upset about the service we received, especially for a business hotel. I was let down by this experience especially because it is a 4 star hotel and the first hotel I have ever booked in my life. As someone who is sensitive to their environment and its cleanliness, the hotel was not as comforting of an experience as I hoped. Their service operations needs improvement, especially in terms of their communication and in delivering a high quality experience.

Honestly, the place exceeded my expectations. It was a nice place to stay during my time at Toronto. Great service and the room was so nice. I feel welcomed. I wish I found a cozy blanket in the hotel room though. Maybe the housekeeping forgot to add it. The hotel itself is beautiful and gorgeous. Super luxurious and I got a nice view in my room. It’s a safe place to stay at and I felt safe while walking around the hotel (especially during early morning). Overall, it’s wonderful. My rating is 4.5/5.

Quiet rooms. This hotel has the friendliest and helpful front desk staff. Rooms are clean, good house keeping and plenty of parking. However the breakfast buffet was mediocre and not worth the money. Overall a well maintained hotel, I will return and also recommend.

Stayed here in a kitchen suite for two days on a weekend with my wife and 2 toddlers to attend a family reunion in the area. We arrived on Friday afternoon and found parking easily. After we checking we headed to our room. The first thing we noticed is a very bad stench of garlic in the room, and this continued throughout our stay - gross. The carpets were disgusting, there was dust all over window sills, greasy fingerprints over all of the glass, the alarm clock did not work, we had no hand towels, and the dishwasher was full of dishes. At least the dishes in the washer were clean... we think. I say this because it doesn't seem like they provide dish soap, dishwasher detergent, tea towels or kitchen cloths. After calling down to front desk they did bring up towels and cloths, but still didn't provide dish soap or dishwasher detergent.. We used room service for some small items - no complaints there. Staff were friendly enough. We also booked the pool for a short time but really - why are there still covid restrictions? This has to be one of the only hotels that still do this. Please put more effort into your housekeeping. At the price we paid, everything should have been spotless considering this is a Hilton.

Amazing service. Every single employee was genuinely kind and helpful. Their food is delicious and you don't want to miss their breakfast and coffee. Special shoutout to the Virgin Blueberry Mojito they make here too. I hope I get the chance to stay here again. Probably one of the best hotels I've stayed in.

Great experience. Second time staying there. Staff is great and very helpful. It was a corporate trip so I don't know the prices of anything. Breakfast buffet is pretty awesome. Rooms are big and spacious. Very big and open concept. (2) TVs in the room. Mini fridge and coffee maker with coffee and tea packets. No bathtub in my room. Shower stall with a hand shower and yet water pressure was really good. There is a gift shop in the hotel.

Convenient location outdated facility We’ve been staying in this hotel for well over 20 years, and it has started to go downhill from some years ago. The room decor and furnitures show signs of wearing. There are not enough power outlets for our electronic devices, we had to unplug phone, alarm or lamp to charge our devices. The bathtub is not upgraded to a shower like many other hotels of the same star ratings, and of course there is no proper ventilation so the shower curtain reeks of moldy smell. Water pressure was fluctuating while taking the shower, and we were only on the 7th floor. One day we specifically requested room cleaning but nothing was done, towels were not changed, beds not done, trash was left intact and floor not vacuumed. I spoke to the cleaning lady next day, she said that management told her not to clean my room because it wasn’t assigned to her, but hello? Can management not go one tiny step further and actually assign someone to clean my room?? Wifi was extremely unreliable and slow, this is really not acceptable for a business oriented conference centre hotel! My biggest issue was reserving time slot for the pool, we are way pass the pandemic, who does that still? The pool hours were limited and reservation must be done by CALLING! I just can’t believe it! Still really love the location, it’s surrounded by good restaurants. Parking is $10/night, which is quite reasonable for GTA. Make sure to book a renovated unit, the experience would be a lot better.

This is my first time here with my family and in-laws for a Saturday brunch buffet in Hilton Toronto/ Markham Suite. Good atmosphere for a hotel cafe/ restaurant. Not plenty of food but good enough for a brunch. The service is great. The manager/ waiters/ chefs are polite and provide good services. There is a pianist playing while we are having our brinch. He is good and nice! The hotel offers freen parking for the brunch and you can enjoy the food and services.

I’ve stayed at the hotel previously, and each time it was very pleasant! This time however, I was given a suite! Oh my! I never wanted to leave the room!!! But I did, and invited a whole load of colleagues to share my good fortune! We were quiet! The location itself was had to get to because of the construction happening in the area, but that’s not the fault of the hotel. I like being in lower floors because of my knees, and they were very good about accommodating me. The food in the hotel was great, and the staff very pleasant. I don’t like that they have these bottles of water in the rooms that look tempting, but the small print reveals that if you’re not a Hilton Honours guest you pay $2.50 a bottle!!! Daylight robbery! But it was great otherwise!

Very clean & friendly. Probably the best Hilton I have stayed in. There was an issue one night around midnight with a party in a room. I called the front desk and the security had it silent within about 10 minutes. In all fairness I or someone else should have called earlier. Front desk were very helpful. Food is quite pricey in the restaurant but you do get what you pay for. Breakfast was very good.

We stayed at this Hilton over the US Memorial Day weekend. We really wanted to stay in downtown Toronto but hotels were very expensive. This place was considerably cheaper than staying downtown so we decided to stay here and take an Uber downtown when we wanted to go. I’m a Hilton Honors Diamond member but the hotel was full and no upgrades were available. The room we stayed in was a very average room, although I will say it was large. It had a nice shower, but there is no shower door on half of the shower, and I know that is by design but it let water get on the floor of the bathroom. As a Diamond member, I had access to the executive lounge for my wife and I and they had a pretty good breakfast and in the evening they had a good selection of snacks and drinks. The service in the lounge and the rest of the hotel was great. The cleaning staff was also really friendly. There is plenty of parking available at this hotel for a small fee. We would stay here again because we don’t have any big complaints about this hotel.

Great home away from home. We had a kitchen in our room. Whirlpool was out of service. There is a long way to the bridge and rooms if you have a suite. Otherwise the main hotel is beautiful. Luxury at Markham! Very comfy stay! We stayed to nights and would have stayed longer! There was no offer to clean our room for the second night and no voucher offered compared to other hotels.

The hotel was great. The second building offering a private entrance was nice. I felt valued as a Diamond guest. I did have two complaints. One was I requested a room that was higher than my free upgrade And was told yes. At check in the front desk said they have no idea what I’m talking about and wanted me to pay a crazy fee to get that room. There also isn’t a bell hop to take your luggage and luggage carts are just left in the middle of the snow. Second during the January lockdown there was no breakfast option offered through room service for me to use my breakfast voucher. I’ll definitely stay here again though. Staff was very attentive

Was okay for a Hilton, have had better experiences in Hampton and Homewood Suites. Pool/Fitness area is not really for the guests, part of a club. Looking for more than 1 bed? They are "doubles", but even that might be generous. Definitely not ideal for sports teams for tournaments, oriented for business individuals/professionals more than anything.

I have been to this location twice and both experiences have been great! The rooms are very clean and spacious and guest services are very polite and reasonable. I also did a 60 minute massage of my back, neck, shoulders and arms which was completely well worth it. Very relaxing!

Great experience with this hotel. I have been staying here for work purposes. Clean rooms and building, friendly and helpful staff, good food. I am not the best traveler but I feel comfortable here and i am getting good sleeps

The hotel is coming back to Life after pandemic. Staff and management share client frustrations over service issues due to reduced staff. Love the washer and dryer for short term stays and efforts of the staff

Nice to stay at a hotel that gives access to a real full gym (in the same building as the hotel) rather than just the typical in-hotel gym. The pool also looked great but I didn't get a chance to use it due to my short stay at the hotel and the need to book an appointment (due to Covid restrictions).

Even though the rooms could use some refreshing (actually, I have only one strong recommendation here - chairs in the room are not comfortable due to non breathing material, in case you need to work longer), people working at this place really make the heart of it. Every person in this hotel makes you feel welcome, comfortable, staff at the restaurant is very attending. Love to come back again and again! :)

great ambiance in the lobby, convenient location, and the rooms are really nice! overall the hotel has a great atmosphere and it definitely will provide you with a comfortable and relaxing stay. the dine in breakfast service is awesome too, if you're willing to add on a small extra charge

I stayed on the weekend of thanksgiving with my fiancée and my 2 daughters, upon checking I was greeted by the lovely lady Ruth, upon finishing my check in, I was introduced to a manager named Ali. He was extremely disrespectful from the get go, not only did he make my daughter feel uncomfortable by giving her an odd nickname, he also racially profiled my fiancée. I personally believe Ali was intoxicated or under the influence of something once meeting him at the hotel, other then that my room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable.

Had a great birthday staycation at the Hilton. They brought up a surprise piece of birthday cake with fresh fruit and raspberry creme which was delicious! The bartender, Oswald, was super friendly and made great drinks. He even has a few of his own recipes. I recommend the Purple Rain.

The hotel is great! It was exceptionally quiet inside the room. Our king size bed was very comfortable and we had a great sleep! The only issue we had is that the pool was closed during our stay due to a maintenance issue.

I have stayed here before and had an enjoyable stay. This time not so much. We booked a one bedroom room while attending my Moms funeral. Our children were going to use the sofa bed. Upon opening the sofa bed, we discovered at least a dozen used tissues. What they were used for I will let you use your own imagination. Kids piled into our bed as it was late and needed rest for the funeral the next day. Took it up with the Manager later on. Not exactly a great response other than to offer an upgrade for that hotel only which will be never. Not exactly what I was hoping for. Disappointed with Hilton, disappointed with this hotel. Makes me question how much cleaning actually goes into the room and makes me wonder just how disgusting some people are that they would choose to discard their used tissues in this fashion. People can be pigs and hotels may not be as clean as we would hope. Even during Covid.

My husband & I would like to thank manager Ali & the Hilton staff for their excellent customer service! Special thanks to a special lovely lady (superb Grace) who goes above & beyond her call of duty. We love that you delight in serving others & make us feel super special, especially for our wedding anniversary. We are sure that you make every person feel the same way. We'll always remember you & your joyful service Grace💐💕. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND STAYING HERE IF YOU CAN'T TRAVEL OUT TOWN! EXCELLENT RESTAURANT & ROOM SERVICE AS WELL! May the Lord continue to bless you all! E & P

Cons: Disappointed with Hilton. Outside look shining but rooms are of very low quality. See pictures I’ve attached. Stained and broken carpet. Hairs in the bathroom and lot of dusts in the ceiling that can be easily cleaned but not cleaned. Outdated rooms and need renovation. Pro: Walk-in shower is great. Rooms size is ok.

The Hilton Toronto Markham is an upscale, modern hotel with attached conference center and meeting rooms. The accommodations are clean and sharp. I appreciate that hotel guests have access to an exceptional health and fitness center called Form and Function. The front desk staff were helpful and accommodating. There is whole foods within 5 minutes of the hotel and dozens and dozens of food options within walking distance.

Beds are a bit too soft but other than that the room was very comfortable. Had to book the pool which we found strange but figured at least then it wouldn't be too crowded- but then because the hot tub closed/ is out of service the pool was actually too full and thus not very enjoyable to swim in. Would have appreciated the person we booked the pool through mentioning the hot tub closure as then I probably wouldn't have bothered going.

We stayed at the Hilton Markham on a recent visit to Toronto. The hotel was lovely, decent Hilton lounge, ample marking, great room. My only complaint is not specific to the hotel, but the traffic to get to and from Toronto was bad. The service was amazing, and I'll definitely stay here again if I don't have to go into the city centre.

Hilton Markham is an excellent hilton property. I really enjoyed my stay here. Our room was really huge and it had two sections. The hotel & rooms are really nice, quite modern. I loved the breakfast options, bar & especially the lounge. A lot of parking spots out in the parking lot.

Normally my stays at the Hilton and amazing. But this long weekend I spent two nights for my birthday. After my stay I realized I accidentally left my tablet. So I called the front desk to get it back. They took a few hours to tell me that they couldn't find it. So after a second failed attempt of talking to them and hearing them pass blame to their wonderful housekeeping staff. I went back to the hotel to check the room myself. It's when I got there and waiting over 30 minutes only to find out they had no communication with the security guard who had my tablet in the lost and found. I'm convinced they wanted to keep it for themselves honestly I could be wrong but needless to say I won't be staying there again.

There were dirty(very) towels left in a pile with furniture pillows alongside the bed. Beyond disgusting... I only ask that the room be clean, especially these days of COVID. On an upside, this was the best accessible bathroom I've ever used and the Hotel was quite nice otherwise.

Not good for family fun. It was a terrible experience using their so called "hotel pool".The swimming pool and fitness centre are contracted out to a fitness club. In order to use the pool, you would need to book the time first, based on the fitness club's availability. I signed a waiver after asking for a swimming towel from the hotel front desk, an only then we could start to use the pool. Everything went well until a club worker stopped us and required us to use only the middle lane which was apparently designated for hotel guests only. We could not use other lanes while members of the club can use all. Hotel guests are second consideration. This is not what we paid for. No info on hotel web, nobody at the hotel told me that, nobody at club reception told me that. This is way under our expectation. It is not a family friendly hotel.

Love this place. Come here often with my children. Richard is always very welcoming at check-in. He makes us feel at home. Our most recent trip we brought a couple of friends along. They loved the experience and look forward to returning with us in the near future. Keep up the good work, Hilton Markham!

Felt cared for and Covid safe during our stay. Chose it for proximity to the Civic Center outdoor rink. Met friends there and walked back to the hotel for fantastic lunch with a window seat in the restaurant. Up to our sitting room for a chin wag while one of our party took a nap on the comfortable king bed. A successful mini-holiday!

Rooms are very outdated. There is no usb port, carpet and furniture seems very old. However, it is my second time staying at this hotel because it has good staff. Well, except for the lady who lied to me about hotel being fully booked thus late checkout cannot be granted. I checked online and my room type was still available. Except for that experience, everyone else was amazing. Room was cleaned nicely, and everyone at the front desk was super helpful and professional. There are plenty if restaurants in a walking distance.

Great rooms, great location. Was visiting on a business trip, left my earphones in the room on the bed before flying back to the US. Contacted the hotel and they stated there was nothing in lost and found. My earphones show they are there virtually on the find my app, but they hotel has not provided any support in locating them.

The Service of both their Main Dining Room and the Bar restaurant are marvelous. They will go an extra mile to help our vacation with our dog dine with us stress free. Thank you to all the staffs in both restaurants who had given me and my family such a wonderful vacation with our beloved dog. Excellent service, perfect food. Will definately recommend this hotel to everyone particularly those who travels with pets.

I experienced great friendly, helpful & prompt service by all staff at this Hotel for my 3 day, 2 night stay during a weekend. From the check-in, to luggage help, to restaurant staff and room services all were fabulous. The only down side was that the hot-tub wasn't working, so I did not bother to go to the pool area.

The best Hilton we've ever stayed in. We stayed here for 3 nights. As a diamond member, I knew I could request an upgrade for free (based on availability). However, I didn't know what kind of upgrade I would get. When I checked in, I was greeted by a friendly young man named Richard. After a minute of friendly chat, I asked if I could get an upgrade. He said yes and that he upgraded me to the Executive "Atrium" Suite. When we got to our room, my son said. "holy macaroni..this is huge." The room has a living and dining area with 180 deg view of the city and the lobby. The room is an ovalish shape that goes around in a circle from the comfy bedroom to the other side. It comes with a microwave and mini fridge. We also had access to the executive lounge that offered a complimentary breakfast buffet and social gatherings in the afternoon with delicious buffet treats, salad, drinks and sometimes sliders. There are several restaurants next to the hotel and a few across the street. When we checked out, I asked for a super late checkout and the manager (forgot her name) gave an okay to stay till 2 pm. Thank you to Katherine, Richard and the other manager for making us feel special! Awesome job!

Recently I and my friend stayed there for two nights. Suite with 2 DB is clean and spacious. Front desk is very helpful and friendly. Air conditioning is quiet. Self parking $10 per night, wish it could be free. Will definitely stay there again when I go to Markham again.

I would suggest avoiding staying at this hotel. Before I get into the negatives I want to highlight the positives: customer service were polite and extremely prompt. Room service was good, food was a little salty but definitely tasty. The room was spacious and clean. Staff tried to help us but there were just major problems with our room that couldn't be addressed during a one night stay. Our air conditioner barely functioned, and it was a very hot summer night. A utility worker came upstairs very quickly after we called down to the front desk, and was very polite, but all he could really do was change the filter. This didn't have much of an effect on the temperature. We had a poor night's sleep because of it. The toilet leaked, badly, and there were constant puddles of water once the toilet was flushed once. The shower water pressure was the worst I've ever experienced at a hotel and would shut off entirely every 15 to 30 seconds. You really feel like the building is aged, and though the staff are great you're getting at best a 2 or 3 star quality stay but paying WAY too much for the room quality you get. I stayed here on my birthday and was so, so disappointed. This hotel put a damper on an otherwise great day. There are far better and far cheaper hotels in the GTA.

I was not impressed. The hotel looks nice when you walk in. However, the hallways are outdated. The room had some renovations done, but could use more. Dishwasher apparently wasn't hooked up to water and the stove wasn't connected. Having access to a heated pool was enjoyable. However, you had to book in advance and it's being shared with swimming classes and fitness center members. I had issues being billed for other people's meals and had to show credit card bill to prove my innocence. Also had a mysterious preauthorization appear prior to checkout which turned out to post on my credit card. Definitely not a great experience and I would not stay there again.
