What a nice place to just hang out. The crowd is friendly, chill, and unpretentious, even when it's totally packed. The best part however are the drinks AND bartenders. They all really know their stuff, are efficient and create some really tasty cocktails. Honestly, they may actually make my favourite whiskey sour (Beaver Sour) in the city!

Great drinks and chill music. Visited on a Friday night and it was pretty quiet 8-9:30pm. The crowds starts flooding in after 10pm and they start charging cover to get in. If you go there early around 8pm, there are tables available - tables gets taken away to make way for the crowds later, but they won't force you out the table if you are still sitting and drinking. Our group pretty much had a "private" section with a table when the crowds started accumulating, which was kinda cool. We eventually felt bad taking up so much space when it got really crowded and left ~11pm.

I came here for The Office trivia night. They have trivia every Tuesday night, different themes. The staff were friendly and fun. Their food menu isn't very big but the tacos I got were good. They have a few different kinds and can do them vegan if you want (in this case they come with beans, salsa, and lettuce).

I felt young again attending an event at this location. Perfect for all; wallflowers to standouts & Queens alike. Excellent service, attractive employees, awesome entertainment & events. I recommend going here if you like being treated well. ❤

Tuesday night trivia is my favourite. Wish they had a couple more options for food and strength of drinks is not very consistent but a super fun place to hang out with friendly staff and awesome events. Definitely worth a visit.

6 or so taps, some craft beer in the fridge, a taco/snack list and very reasonable prices. lots of really rad events from bingo to karaoke nights. place is a great gem with a back patio on West Queen West.

Had a great night here. The drinks and food were fairly priced, the service was helpful, and the environment is enjoyable. We came for a Lord of the Rings trivia night which was really fun and well put together. Would visit again for sure.

Great little bar slash cafe. My first encounter was having brunch there. Great vegetarian selection & the almond milk flat white was really good so I had 2. My 2nd visit was post a dinner on a Sunday night & I popped in for a night cap which ended up becoming a number of ciders and enjoying the karaoke which I'm not normally a big fan of. It was loads of fun I would definitely go back and recommend this place if you're ever in Queen St West looking for a progressive venue.

Love The Beaver! It’s the only lesbian bar in TO and does not disappoint. It is accessible and has gender neutral bathrooms. If partying isn’t your thing, they are also a cafe during the day. Decently priced drinks and drag shows. It’s a win-win!

Phenomenal "straight friendly" queer bar. Great prices, delicious drinks and craft beer, and tacos too! The events and the crowd are electric, and their music selection is on point. If you're in the neighbourhood and haven't gone, you're missing out.

Love this place. Great safe space for LGBTQ+ people. Cheap drinks and a great back patio. Dancing on the weekends! Though, the neighbourhood is changing and there are too many Bros just getting to and out of the bar.

Very cool bar. Always a good ambiance, very open minded queer atmosphere, music is never disappointing, from hip hop to 90s pop. I went on a Friday and there was a 5$ cover. Staff is very nice and chill.

The Beaver is my favourite bar in Toronto. I absolutely love it in there. The staff are always super friendly, that have a really varied drink list, the music is always great, the patio is lovely and the events they host are always crowd pleasers. Just a really great bar over all
