The coffee here is pretty good, but the highlight was definitely this mushroom pastry we got. It was surprisingly delicious. It’s a nice place to come and do some work, but it gets pretty busy so you may have to wait for a seat. Also the seats aren’t the most comfy, but the decor is really nice!

really enjoyed this place! tried the purple sweet potato latte and a croissant of the same flavour. wasn't sure what to expect but i really liked both. the staff are friendly and the wifi is good, plenty of people were studying or working while i was there. totally recommend it!

The pandan mocha latte is honestly one of the best things to touch my tongue. SO delicious and they have dairy free options! I also really loved the pandan cookie. All the treats looked so yummy and I can’t wait to try them all. I also tried two of their vegetarian banh mi’s. They were good and really stuffed full! I prefer my banh Mis to be a bit lighter and not so busy but it was still really good!

Ordered off of Ritual for takeout but ended up staying in the cafe for a while because I loved the atmosphere here! Ample seating for both individuals and groups. The deluxe banh mi was delicious, packed full of flavour and a generous portion of filling. I could tell that the purple sweet potato latte had real sweet potato puree in it, the flavour was intense and well balanced by the creaminess of the whole milk. The cafe decor was cute and the music was nice, at a good volume for personal reading. Staff were friendly, it seemed like they really enjoyed working there! Would definitely return to try the many other items on their menu

The cafe is warm and welcoming. I love the plants! The staff is friendly and helpful. My favourite is the Garlicky Shrimpo Bhan Mi! It's out of this world! I've never had Purple Sweet Potato Latte until I found Rustle & Still Cafe. It's very yummy!

Great drinks with Vietnamese/south east Asian influence. More than just a coffee shop, rustle and still offers great food (banh mi) and has beautiful decor!

Best banh mi spot in the city. The bread is crusty on the edges and chewy in the middle as all great banh mis are. They are very generous with their protein and veggies, and love how there are fusion flavours. Got the chicken adobo one in my last visit and loved it. The tanginess of the chicken was balanced by the fresh lightness of the veggies. Their drinks are great too. Viet coffee is a go-to but also liked the peach iced tea (perfect for the summer). Space is small, sitting around 20 people. People are friendly, kitchen is quick. There's a very welcoming energy to the place. Great for a quick stop or a sit down if you're in the area!

The beef brisket stew and garlicky shrimpo. They were full flavour and a good size portions. Customer service was great and the cafe has a nice vibe. We will be coming back here! Note: beef brisket stew is halal

This cute and cozy cafe is located in Junction, which the best place to find amazing food. The cafe has a few tables that you can sit down and enjoy the cute decorations. When I arrived, all tables were full and it seemed like everyone was enjoying their beverage/food and time. The gentleman who was getting my order was super nice and friendly. He helped me choose between the options and I ended up enjoying both my food and beverage. I ordered “Garlicky Shrimpo” sandwich and “Matcha Pandan Latte”. Latte had a new and unique taste that was new to me and I really enjoyed every sip of it. Shrimps in the sandwich were perfectly marinated and cooked and the combination of the shrimp, coleslaw and the dressing was very pleasant.

Nice ambiance, fast services and delicious drinks and food. The baguettes of the banh mi is very soft. The custards in the Pandan croissant is creamy and fragrant. I personally enjoyed the sweet potato latte a lot, although the matcha pandan latte and pandan latte are also great.

It is a cute coffee place on Bloor street. They specialize in coffee and also serve other unique drinks, plus Banh mi. I tried Matcha Pandan and Viet coffee with coconut condensed milk. You should try the Match Pandan latte. I think both cold and hot version are great. The Viet coffee with coconut condensed milk tastes weird for me and my cousin. I don’t know if they made it wrong because we ordered a cold one. The barista made a hot one and pour over ice to make it cold. I guessed that makes the drink bland :/

Gochujang tofu mushroom sandwich (v) was very good with lots of spicy tofu. Vietnamese iced coffee was strong and good but there was too much ice. Rustle & still cafe located in the heart of Bloor W Koreantown but the place was quite noisy than I thought. Vegan or vegetarian menu: Gochujang tofu mushroom sandwich (v) Tofu mushroom sandwich (v) Vegan stew (Bo Khao Chay)

The food and drink were decent, but the cramped seating and uncomfortable chairs make it unsuitable for studying. I came here a couple of times for takeout but unfortunately my last visit will be the last time. During my last visit, I ordered a Char Siu banh mi for $12.15, paid $20 in cash, and received only $5 in change. Unfortunately, I realized this after leaving the cafe without a receipt. Disappointed by the experience, I won't be returning to this store.

One of the prettiest in best tasting coffee’s I’ve ever had. The service was efficient and I thought the banh mi was really good. I got the lemon grass pork meatball sandwich, and it filled me up and kept me wanting more The space in general is really nice of a wide variety of tables and seating options . Perfect for studying or hanging out with friends. They also offer free Wi-Fi and are open pretty late.

Cute coffee shop. The hanging plants caught my attention from the outside. I had a flat white which was good, but the tofu mushroom banh mi was excellent. So tasty! All the staff were super nice and friendly, wonderful service.

Love the interior of this cafe, a lot has changed since I last set foot here, I went here when they grand opened. The menu has changed too and with that a new experience. I ordered the matcha Pandan latte, it was good company! Nice and warming to combat the harsh winter winds. Matcha is stronger in this drink but you can definitely taste the Pandan. I ordered the cha Siu banh mi to let my friends try. We all agree that it sounded good on paper but they used a different char Siu recipe. We thought it would be the Hong Kong BBQ style one. It was a miss for us. I also ordered the garliky shrimp, this banh mi was good. The slaw and the shrimp worked nicely together. Solid banh mi. I also ordered a bottle of coffee Pandan to take home. Once again the Pandan flavours are subtle, so if you want the full Pandan experience I think getting the standalone would be the best option. Follow on Instagram @torontosfatass

I’d been meaning to check out Rustle & Still for a while after hearing of their vegan banh mi and Vietnamese iced coffee with coconut condensed milk. All in all, I’m quite pleased with my experience here! The banh mi was delicious and surprisingly filling, and the iced coffee was also quite good. The atmosphere is nice, with lots of plants and light. There are some outlets for doing work. However, the bathroom is gross and the area around the bathroom door is also messy. As well, the tables are quite cheap and flimsy, and a bit annoying to sit at. These are all rather small issues but I still think they’re worth noting. Overall, the food is great and the place is still very nice inside. I would definitely recommend it.

Absolutely loved this place and the design and the people there! 🥰 Rustle and Still Café My friend and I were attracted to the smell of the food that’s why we went into the café 🤪 these are what we ordered.. 🥪 Lemongrass pork sandwich 🥪 This is the best sandwich my friend and I have ever tasted! 😤 it’s so flavourful and even the veggies of the sandwich stands out as it has this very yummy taste to it 😋 Don’t really know how to describe it but it was so so yummy ☺️ definitely worth trying, so yum 🥰 😋Savoury Danish (veg) 😋 We wanted something light and salty and this was perfect for us 🫠 There was an egg in the middle of the Danzig with mushrooms on top, it was a very good combination 😤 It is a good portion as a snack ☺️ The coffee ☕️ was also so good, I forgot what it is called but I asked for less sweet 😋 and the coffee was PERFECT for me 😆

The best place for vegans, the best place for omnis, and the best place for anyone with an appetite for fresh and delicious banh mi. If you are looking for a quick stop, the variety of drinks is awesome and the pastries/sweets are tasty. Rod, the owner, is a spectacular human being who cares deeply about providing customers with unbeatable service. The vibe is relaxed and perfect for plant lovers. Run, don't walk to this place... you can thank me later!

TL;dr - Banh Mi is worth, drinks are not I really liked this place’s Banh Mi, their drinks were meh. The matcha was not strong enough, so it tasted like milk with the slightest kick of matcha. The Vietnamese coffee was good; a little too sour/bitter than what’s it’s supposed to be (or against what I’ve typically had in Toronto and Asia). The decor is really nice inside (doesn’t mean much with the lockdown). Lastly the customer service was really good; they tend to attract a lot of rowdy customers for some reason - I was in line for 10 minutes are there were customers screaming at the staff and being rude. Not sure what that’s about.

The sandwich tastes soooo good!! My choice is mixed chicken and pork, add one dish of garlic shrimp. You can't imagine how delicious the garlic shrimp was, and I ate almost all of it in five minutes. There were so many flavors of coffee that I had not only the signature sweet potato lattee, but also Vietnamese iced coffee. I feel like I'll come back to this coffee shop a second time.

This place is an absolute staple in Toronto. The Gochujang Banh Mi is insane here! Packed with a whole lotta flavour, and a little punch as well. The Iced Vietnamese Coffee with coconut condense milk is absolutely unreal and a MUST GET here. If Matcha Pandan is your thing, you gotta give it a try here because it is super tasty! The Tahini Cookie is such a lovely treat too. The prices are super fair, especially when you use their points system, and the atmosphere is so beautiful. You will wholeheartedly not be disappointed, forreal forreal! Fair warning: many Toronto locals love this place, so it can get busy in waves but don’t let that steer you away. It’s just a sign that it’s incredible! Note: I edited this post recently with the sole purpose of updating the pictures so the food, space, and vibe is accurately depicted.

Second time here. Tried their tofu banh mi super tasty. Also pumpkin spice latte with less sugar. Added cinnamon powder myself. Staff even offered to add extra shot of espresso after I mentioned I’m working later. Nice atmosphere for work or book or just relax. But need to mention dine in while ordering if you want mug rather than paper cup.

Lovely atmosphere inside this hidden shop. Was recommended by a store across the street to try here, and the coffee was lovely, best I've had here in Toronto. There is plenty of room inside if you want to bring your laptop and chill. Will definitely return to try more drinks and food.

best cafe ever! the matcha pandan latte is awesome, and you have to try their croissants, and banh mi - the mixed lemongrass banh mi is to die for. the vibes are immaculate and the baristas are so so NICE - they're the best part. I would go here every day if i could

Char Siu Banh Mi came in basic baguette which was a little tough and chewy. They stuffed it with pickled carrots and bit of lettuce. The char siu was alright, nice tender texture but the sauce was too sweet. Cilantro was a good addition to add some freshness and offset the sweetness. The meat to bread ratio was good though

One of the best banh mi places around the area! Balanced flavour combination and generous portions of meat. Drinks were unique, authentic and tasty. Great service and ambiance!

  • 5/5 Mimi L. 1 year ago on Google
Was pleasantly surprised with the amount of protein in their banh mi. We weren’t super hungry so we split a Char Sui Banh Mi and the meat was so tender and juicy, and it had just the right amount of sauce. Definitely worth a try. Along with the sandwich we ordered an iced Thai tea, shaken with a bit of condensed milk, not overly fragrant and no sugar - just the way I like it!

I have always wanted to try this cafe and finally had a chance to today. Food: great choices of Banh Mi , had the adobo Banh mi today. Right amount of spice and bun was tasty Drink: Viet iced coffee always hit the spot. Wish it was stronger though but just personal reference. Service was great! staffs are super friendly and food came out quick! Atmosphere: it was a small cafe with lots of seatings but it can get quite packed. Lots of charging outlets around. however I wish the windows are cleaner, that woll make people watching even better! overall very nice spot! will definitely return!

Super cute and cozy cafe that offers usual cafe drinks plus a few asian inspired drinks. They also offer pastries, banh mis and other dishes which I would like to try for next time. Staff are super friendly and service is prompt!

Xiu mai was soo good - if you’re Filipino it’s basically whats inside a siomai so juicy and yum. Drinks were good too but the service?? There was only one person attending the cafe and they heard my fork fall (I didnt bother asking for one cause im okay with just the spoon vs the hassle of asking for a new one) but the person came unprompted with fresh cutlery. 10/10 so appreciated!! 🥹

  • 5/5 Van N. 7 months ago on Google
They have great beverages (especially the pandan latte and matcha pandan latte) and delicious banh mi. The bread is very similar to what we have in Vietnam (not the thick and dense western style bread). You can't go wrong with lemongrass chicken; viet skillet is flavorful with different ingredients. However, the price isn't cheap, and it would be better if they can warm up the bread more before serving. This is a small cafeteria and is always full.

Great food! I tried the GARLICKY SHRIMPO , OMG! It’s yummy delicious, the bread 🥖 is fresh and crispy too.The way they wrap the sandwich was neat and clean. If you’re craving for Buhn Mi just go to Rustle and Still Cafe’, their Bunh mi is yummy in every bite!

  • 5/5 Christian M. 2 years ago on Google
AMAZING hidden gem! Currently on a mission to try everything on the menu. So far: Matcha Pandan Latte and Purple Sweet Potato Latte are suuuper unique in their flavour profiles. There’s more earthiness to the Purple Sweet Potato Latte (obvs) so it’s not too sweet. The Matcha has a noticeable hint of Pandan that’s sure to put a smile on! Also tried their Char Siu, Shrimpo and Tofu Banh Mi’s and was very surprised at how differently they all hit! The most surprising flavour profile came from the Tofu Banh Mi! I’m typically not a tofu person, but am definitely going to order that again without any hesitation. The Char Siu was my fave of the three I’ve tried! ALSO! Their Beef Stew is a MUST HAAAAVE! 🙏🏽 AND their Viet Iced Coffee too! Ugh. Can’t get enough of how delicious everything was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

One of my favorite asian cafe! This cafe is spacious and offers a huge variety of food and drink and pastries, that there are always new things to try. It’s also a good study spot! Their bahn mis are delicious, and so are their drinks :)

Very friendly staff! The vibe here is very cozy with a lot of beautiful greenery. The coffee here is fantastic! They also have some authentic Vietnamese foods as well - things like banh mi. Hard to find some good Vietnamese spots in the city, so I’m very thankful that Rustle & Still is as wonderful as it is.
