A super great atmosphere with friendly staff The tables are set up in a way that is suitable for both completing a serious job and having a conversation. The mint tea was refreshing and pleasant. Finding a parking spot was a little bit hard, but it is definitely worth to find a place a little bit far. The place has a main are and room surrounded by glasses. Overall it as a bright and happy space.

It’s not located in one of the main streets so you might think you’re lost when you’re looking for it but don’t let that stop you, I know I’m glad I gave this place a try. The barista (the owner?) is professional and friendly, the interior design looks pretty cool, and their iced latte is amazing. Two things though, I wish they had more options in terms of pastries and they used those lids that don’t require a straw.

This is a nice spot for groups or coming alone for a morning/afternoon coffee and treats. They have multiple long vertical tables (community Style Seatings) that are suitable for business meetings or friends gatherings. You can also bring your laptop, monitor(s) and keyboard here with you and work from the café.

I tried reaching out to the propeller customer service team to perform an exchange both over email and phone, they were not responding to my email after telling me to give my coffee to my friends, I replied saying that it was not an option for me since It was grounded to something that was neither good for espresso nor regular brew, which makes it hard to regift to others. I offered to pay for return shipping to get the coffee replaced with full beans instead. I tried reaching to the team via phone, and the client relation manager(Megan U) told me that she will reply to me before end of day. But she never did even after an entire week. I made further attempt to follow up on my request but was ignored. It was a waste of time and money. I am dissapointed by their customer service and for third wave coffee beans that cost 20$ a bag, I expected better client service.

A wonderful spot for events, especially weddings. Beautiful urban aesthetic for cool photography. Option to open garage doors and set up an outside space was great during COVID and continues to be a lovely and unique feature. Unique is the key word to describe Propeller. Has great caterers who they work with. Excellent management and planning: they made us feel happy and confident and stress free all throughout even despite the delays of COVID. Never once did we worry we would not have our dream. In the end it was a total dream wedding, the best night of our lives. Our guests all loved it!

Nice to finally sit inside and enjoy a nice hot coffee while reading a book. The place is a little bit off the beaten path but it's also very close to Lansdowne Station. They sell many accessories and the seating space is plentiful with huuuuge tables.

I used to enjoy coming here for good coffee and a good working space. However today I witnessed a manager be very hostile to someone for no good reason. A woman who appeared to be homeless walked in to take a seat. She was not bothering anybody or doing anything disruptive, and there was plenty of space. I barely noticed her until the manager decided to cause a scene. Before the woman even had a chance to order the manager started questioning her and kicked her out of the store--ostensibly because she didn't have proper footwear, though based on the rude and hostile tone the manager took I assume it really had more to do with how the woman looked and assuming she was homeless or a drug user. To that manager: you could have chosen understanding and compassion, instead you chose prejudice and exclusion. I understand kicking out someone who is bothering other people, but this woman was not bothering anyone. This makes me not want to come back here again. What an awful attitude to take towards our neighbours who are just looking for shade and a place to sit.

Highly recommend! The cafe space is HUGE. The staffs are friendly and the empanada was great! Love that they are participating in creating sustainable environment, by using metal straws!

Great spot with good coffee and a great space to work from (when we aren’t in lock down!). They have the huskee cup program, are a b corp and will use your own mug, if you bring it…so bring your own cup and don’t be part of the trash problem ;)

Near Bloor this local coffee roaster and shop is a hidden gem for coffee lovers. With a cozy ambiance (with long communal tables where you can work and even bring your own desktop) and a dedication to crafting the perfect cup of joe, it has become one of my favourite coffee locations in town. The expertly sourced and locally roasted beans ensure a rich and flavorful experience. The friendly staff's knowledge and passion for coffee create a welcoming environment. For an exceptional coffee experience that stands out from the chain shops, this local roaster is a must-visit.

Great space, nice staff, amazing coffee Ok, it's in the middle of nowhere even though it's really close to the subway. What a gorgeous huge space! I have seen online that a lot of community events are hosted here. I love coffee but travel so much I never have time to enjoy it. Staff took the time to help me understand the difference in the many methods they can prepare it here (drop, espresso, pour-over, clover). Straight up I had one of the best cups of coffee in recent memory. Perfect place to meet people to work on a project, host events or just get together.

Propeller is an amazing coffee shop with great coffee and lovely seating. We also used the venue for our wedding and it was a dream to work with. From the first email, Carlos was super responsive and gave us great confidence that it was going to be the perfect venue for us. The venue is beautiful and required little decor to make it pretty and with tables on wheels, the event works perfectly for having a ceremony, reception and dinner / dancing all in the same place. Again, I can't say enough good things about the planning process with Carlos who ensured that everything was laid out perfectly in advance, and Jyle who was our on-site contact for the night of the wedding. They made sure every detail was seamless and ensured that we were able to enjoy our perfect day. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this venue for weddings or corporate events.

Propeller Coffee is one of my favourite cafe space in Toronto. I always feel I am welcome here no matter how busy the location is. Pre-covid times I liked to take my laptop with me, enjoy a cuppa, and work from there. Speaking of which, I find it a great idea to have big tables instead of a lot of individual seating, since this space can be shared - as well as ideas and creativity! The staff is professional staff and flexible when it comes to a more specific order. I often restock my coffee beans for home from Propeller; the selection is huge, and they can always recommend something new/exciting worth to try.

Wonderful service and coffee! Still going super hard on COVID restrictions, so masks are required when not sitting at your table which are provided at the front service desk. The entire premise is wheelchair accessible with very well stocked clean bathrooms and it's really nice to just be in a huge space with solid tables. (Especially after all the rickety tiny spaces that are typical in the neighborhood.) Off the beaten path which is refreshing too. Definitely recommend once the air conditioner is put on 💚

Great coffee! The staff, ambience and vibe are wonderful, the sandwiches and pastries are scrumptious (vegan options!), there's even bike parking! The go-to stop on my way to or from downtown from the west end.

Really nice cafe with a lot of space. Came here to study and enjoyed my time here. The server was also helpful and kind.

Propeller is a great, tucked away spot that was quite busy pre-covid. They have a walk through window for ordering now, which includes purchasing beans... Unfortunately the staff I had take my order didn't get it correct - ordered 2 bags of the lightest/blondes roast the had in full bean and instead got the darkest 🤦🏻‍♂️ Didn't notice until I got home, but I can gift this instead. Better luck next time

Good cappucino. Not selling pastries during the lockdown.

I've purchased these beans all throughout the pandemic to make coffee at home. They taste amazing, and the variety and seasonal changes means I'm never bored. Shipping is free over $36 or something like that and arrives next day. Highly recommend.

No pour-over available on the day (Sunday afternoon) I visited. The drip coffee was not exactly inspiring. Some beans on shelves were roasted more than three weeks ago. But this spacious gem in an industrial area provides a great, co-working space vibe to people who prefer to spend hours working on their laptops. High ceiling is a big plus and its music choice never fails :)

Delicious cappuccino, great "savoir-faire" of the person who made it for us.

My go-to morning coffee is Starbucks but RBC sent me a couple bags of Propeller beans…wow, it’s up there with some of the best coffee I’ve ever had, easily better than my usual! Beautifully roasted.

This place was recommended to me by a friend who lives in the area. I wouldn’t have known about it otherwise. It’s such a cool hidden gem. Lots of space. Ample sunlight. Good coffee. I’ll definitely make a return trip soon.

A good place to spend an hour or two when you have time to spare. Staff are all really nice and the big communal tables make for fun shapes of chatting friends in conversation sitting amongst the hard at work - re: students n freelancers. Coffee is great, bakery is tasty, mostly pastries.

Awesome place for coffee. The flavours in their coffee are unique and fresh. The staff is also super helpful in answering and questions. They're always friendly and informative. Great coffee, great service, couldn't ask for more!

I have been ordering from this shop for a while now . They have a great collection of Blended beans and Single Origin. They also have limited editions beans throughout the years which is awesome I like their fast next day delivery service using FIL. It allows me to enjoy the freshly roasted beans right away. I mostly like all of their beans .The prices are quite reasonable for the quality of beans and quantity. The Rivet and Espresso ones are the best. I went to this place many years ago to apply but did not have chance to drink coffee there. I would definitely visit someday.

Amazing spot for studying, so much natural light and the huge tables are very comfortable. The space is absolutely perfect! I usually get an oat latte, which was great as well as their seasonal apple hot cider, although I didn't find their food options particularly appealing. It would be nice if empanadas came with sauce and they had more variety in their snack options.

We've been purchasing Propeller coffee over the past several years and have found it to always be delicious, very freshly roasted (often within a day or three of delivery) and *very* quickly delivered in TO (and much faster than their local competitors!). Prices are excellent, as are the customer service staff. I can't recommend their coffee highly enough!

Very cute and spacious cafe. Met a friend for coffee and morning treat. The space is a little secluded and wasn't busy when I arrived in the morning (around 10am). Filled up pretty quick after that. It's a nice spot to enjoy tasteful coffee and pastries while catching up with a friend. Would definitely come back - and staff were very kind and friendly.

This is a great cafe. One of the best coffees I’ve had in Toronto. The vibe is really nice and casual and suitable for laptop working. I had a nice turkey sandwich there too. Staff are super nice!

We hosted our wedding here and had the best night. The venue is stunning and minimal decor was needed in this already beautiful space. We had so many guests ask where we had found such a unique venue. The staff were incredible, special thanks to Carlos & Sarah for their planning help leading up to the day and the actual night of Carlos was beyond 10/10. Coffee was fantastic too and our guests raved. Highly recommend hosting any special events here!

Not only does Propeller have some of the best coffee in Toronto, but the service here is always exceptional! Their covid protocols also make me feel safe and comfortable. Huge 5 stars and thank you to the gang at Propeller - keep up the good work!

We ordered a 5lb bag of Turbo Espresso with the grind setting to Espresso. Unfortunately the bag that came were whole beans. Losel (The founder and President) personally came around and ground the beans himself in our kitchen (This is not a joke). I couldn't speak more highly of the customer service. Will definitely be ordering again.

I have heard good thing about Propeller Coffee but now that I live and work an hour away from the city it's been hard to check it out. I was happy to get thr chance today when I had to drive into the city. I found the atmosphere very warm and welcoming. The staff were friendly, helpful and kind. I ordered a latte and the vegetarian sandwich. Both were astounding. My latte was smooth and velvety with zero acidity or bitter aftertaste and the vegetarian sandwich was delicious. I will keep their Cafe on my go-to lost when in that area. I purchased both espresso and coffee beans for home which I look forward to trying tomorrow. It also felt good to support a local business that prides themselves on being green certified B Corp and puts the community to mind. I will definitely look to support them through future coffee purchases for home.
