Cozy and intimate spot for wine and wine-accompanying food. Loved the cod croquettes. The folks here really know their wines and can walk you through them. Honestly, a great gem hidden in plain sight.

Amazing service. Bruce is an incredible sommelier. The food was outstanding - we had the beef cheek gnocci, burrata, watermelon salad, cod croquettes which were fantastic. I have lived in Toronto my whole life and only regret not discovering this place sooner !

A must visit place when you are in Toronto. Owned, run and staffed by people who truly love wine (and not snobby at all) Great wine selection expertly and lovingly curated paired with excellently executed dishes that are designed to accentuate the wine. One of our parties joked that I actually needed to write a negative review so we could keep this place a secret to ourselves. I can't do that in good conscience because a place like this that's obviously a creation of love and passion needs to be shared. Enjoy!

Amazing amazing wine and charcuterie experience. Owen was so knowledgeable and knew exactly what he was talking about - I loved his wine recommendation. He was so attentive and kind throughout our night and came by every now and then to explain the best pairings for what we ordered. Definitely coming back to this place!!

I really enjoyed my visit to this spot. I sat at the bar and had a very engaging conversation with the bartender - who was not only super knowledgeable about her wine list, but was very generous in allowing us to try the wines and affording us the opportunity to learn about them. Will definitely be back!

A great casual spot to grab a quick bite. Possibly the friendliest and most approachable wine bar I've been yet. Had two very different experiences. Enjoyed some food on their patio with one of their glasses of "Surprise Red" - a fun way for experienced drinkers to test their tongue or for inexperienced drinkers like me to just explore new wines without any prejudices. For my second visit I think I lucked into a seat next to sommelier's Bruce and Marie who basically gave me a mini wine class! Can't say enough about their friendly approach and love for wine. Feel free to ask me more about my experience on instagram at omiominomnom.

Cozy place with a great selection of wine and the food you never want to miss! The butternut squash ravioli is one of the best ravioli I have ever had! It is not greasy at all and the filling is made with fresh ingredients! The staff is so attentive to bring you the wine, the dish, as well as the bill at the right time! Thank you so much!

Came here on a snowy evening after walking past it a week before. It's a very cozy, intimate space that is perfect to catch up with friends. We came on a Wednesday evening, but on the weekends, it's usually busier. The food selection was great, and they were knowledgeable about the wine. They were also respectful of our wine budget, which I appreciated. Everything that we ordered was delicious. I would definitely come here again!

Signed up for the blind wine tasting tonight. The atmosphere was incredibly welcoming, down to earth. Bruce was extremely generous with his time and knowledge. I even left with some complimentary bread. Had a very small community feel in a big city ! Thank you!!

Looks small and unassuming from the street, but inside is an inviting and unpretentious wine shop and with plenty of space to sit, relax, eat and drink. Very friendly staff eager to share knowledge and who curate a kick-butt playlist. Recommend a visit and will definitely return on next trip through Toronto.

Cute little restaurant with a sommelier school upstairs, so you know they are serious about their wine. Beef cheek gnocchi was delicious. They have a 4 glass wine flight for $45 and 6 glass wine flight for $60, which they serve blind so you can guess (if you want)

Amazing little spot. Fantastic wine list. HUGE selection of Gin. Food was delicious. Ketchup fries. I think we had 4 orders. And those blistered peppers. Amazing. Beautiful spot. Staff was engaging and helpful, service was perfect. Thank you.

I had lunch here today and it was great. The space is welcoming and colourful. the staff was very friendly and attentive. I ordered an americano (which was brewed perfectly) and a pastrami sandwich. It was delicious. The location is right across the street from the Scotiabank movie theater. It's a great spot to pop in for bite before the movies or for drinks afterward. I did check out their awesome drinks menu. I will definitely be back.

Lovely wine bar with an interesting selection of wines. We had an aged Amarone which was so delicious we’ve been on an Italian wine buzz ever since.

I experienced a fine dining experience at Grand Cru Deli. The wine is delightful, and I would recommend the Octopus as the main course. Special thanks to Maria, who is as welcoming as she is knowledgeable in all that is wine. I will make sure to come back during my next stay in Toronto.

Dropped in before a show in the entertainment district. Perfect wines and bites! House bread is perfecto. Highlights include the razor clams and cod croquettes. These were the best cod croquettes I've ever had. Perfect execution of a dish that has an infinite number of ways to screw it up. Gutsy. Wine by the glass is on point, as are the bottles you can take home!

This place introduced me to great italian and kiwi reds. Go on the day Mary is behind the counter. She makes fantastic wine recommendations. Nice crowd too.

Best Wine Bar in Toronto! Delicious menu, if you can get the family style menu do it! Maria, Bruce, and Sophia were amazing! Also they have a wine school upstairs, talk about the best well educated staff!

what an excellent gem of a place! huge selection of wines. came here on a saturday afternoon for a wine flight and charcuterie board. the board was so delicious: four cheeses (comte, guinness cheddar, brie and a sheep cheese) and three meats, with plenty of bread and crostinis. shannon picked out six perfect wines for our flight based on what we said we liked. shannon knew her wines and was friendly and so hospitable. definitely coming back!

Prior to Covid, this was one of my favourite hidden gems. Delicious, innovative Jewish inspired food. So I was very excited to bring a group for a business dinner to this restaurant. I checked all the menus online and it seemed to still be the same. When we showed up, the menu was essentially 10 different versions of toasted baguette with toppings from the cheese shops Kensington market. On top, 4 out 5 of the patrons In our group did not drink. There was minimal choice of beverages for them. Overall a beautiful space, with disappointing marketing, and even more disappointing food

The place itself is really brightly lit and not much to look at- not the best ambiance for a date or dinner if you’re thinking of taking someone here for a date. It’s in the entertainment district, which is not my favourite area but we had high hopes for this little spot with all the great reviews. We just found that the wine list was really small and limited for a wine bar. The glasses are expensive and small free pours. The food was good but left something to be desired. It’s going for bar raval kind of dishes in a coffee house vibe. The razor clams were chewy in a very acidic sauce. The boquerones were nice but the crostini didn’t taste fresh at all. The duck breast was really nice. Overall, the cost of our stay was more expensive than our steak dinner at the Keg and we were left disappointed.
