Nice little art gallery that showcases local Canadian artists, both old and new. Also a fan of the abundance of Indigenous artwork! It is also built-into/right beside a library. There’s a cute little gift shop and a summer camp you can register your kids to.

Very nice Art Museum...lots of contemporary and modern art work, some are amazing arts. They're even inspiring young artists, which is an impressive project they have. Bring your young children and get their artistic talents started. At certain time there is an art story being read to the children.

The Robert McLaughlin Gallery is a beautiful little gem in downtown Oshawa. It is free to browse the Art Gallery. There is a Donation Box at the front desk. The Gallery is three floors of Exhibits. They feature an artist in the lower level and often see them when visiting the Gallery. The Robert McLaughlin Gallery puts on art classes for all ages. Washrooms are available at this location. Mask are required at this location.

RMG , has a focused collection of Canadian art featuring Painters Eleven, Group of Seven and leading contemporary Canadian artists. The RMG also regularly features exhibitions so check their website. The museum doesn't charge an admittance at the time of this writing. It’s pay as you go’ so help keep the lights on and drop $5 - $10 into the box.

Nice art gallery in Oshawa. Beautiful art sculptures. We went for a Indo Canadian Holi event there. Parking was free on the weekend. The whole gallery is wheelchair and stroller friendly. It's a nice, clean beautiful art gallery with lots of events happening. Liked it there!!

Interesting free (donation suggested) gallery with a wonderful permanent collection and changing exhibits. I really appreciated that the interactive display in the Made of Honey, Gold, and Marigold exhibit was still interactive despite COVID-19. They had a box of disposable gloves and hand sanitizer available.

Went for Christmas tea. The room was very bright and clean with large windows to see out. The tables had fresh white linen clothes. Each person had an individual ceramic tea pot with the tea they chose. There was not a large variety of teas but the ones we chose had nice flavour. One member of our group has food sensitivities and the venue took care to prepare a menu for her that fit her dietary needs. She said her food was delicious. In afternoon tea tradition, we had scones with lemon curd, whipped cream and a berry compote. Small sandwiches of cucumber and cream cheese (the classic) egg salad,Turkey with cranberries and a prosciutto croissant. There was also a tortilla wrap with smoked salmon. Desserts included chocolate covered Strawberry, fruit custard tart, a snowman merengue and a homemade sandwich cookie. Staff was super nice.

Great gallery! Very happy that they've brought back the free Sunday events, now sponsored by OPG. We used to go before COVID and always had a great time. Got the chance to attend the recent Sunday program and staff at both activities were so supportive and friendly. Farah especially, has such enthusiasm and love for what she does. The gallery itself is fantastic. There's a small kids room with hands-on activities and the exhibits are fantastic. I was privileged to see Couzyn van Heuvelen's CAMP exhibition, which was so amazing, despite only having four pieces, but they certainly make an impact. A must-see. The entire gallery is worth the drive out to this special space, and you (and your kids, as it's pretty kid-friendly) can spend over an hour here, looking at all the collections.

It's completely free. There are some permanent exhibits and some are temporary. I liked the exhibits that I saw. Creative work from the artists intrigued me.

A great art experience for the whole family. Art exhibits that are thought provoking. Installations that are a hands-on experience for children and people of all ages. An array of different events. Wheelchair accessible entrance. Gift shop featuring art and gifts done by local artists. I would recommend you go to the RMG and check out their art exhibits and take part in the many events they have to offer.

Last night I was at the gallery for the monthly meetings with the City of Oshawa's, C.D.E.I.C.-Community Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committe. I've been serving with great success for over two years, now. However, years ago I was a volunteer Art Guide at the Robert McLaughlin Art Gallery. As an artist, just being familiarized with certain artists works, their histories, key notes of interest and intrigue.. Works of art of another language human being refine that they may express articulately.. This Art Gallery, itself, has an amazing history, here, in Oshawa. Those large circles in varying position, connected to one another via a linear, single-line utilizing metal.. There is a photograph of all of the original people whom had invested great interest and money in having an art museum built. The circles on the front, right side of the edifice, correspond with the position of the head of each of those persons in that photograph.. And now you know, if you didn't already.. I highly recommend visiting Robert McLaughlin Art Gallery.

Small, charming museum. It's nostalgic for me so I can't say a bad thing about it. Free admission. There is always interesting exhibits in rotation.

The Robert McLaughlin Art Gallery allowed us to rent spaces to host our wedding reception. This site is stunning, my guests absolutely loved the venue. A huge thank you to the gallery even coordinator Carole who helped us every way she could. It was a pleasure to have her on our wedding team. The gallery is open 6 days a week to the public, does not charge admission, they do rely on voluntary donations and it is well worth a visit. The gallery hosts many events for adults and children, many programs and they make everyone feel welcome.

This is a nice public art gallery in downtown Oshawa. No entry tickets, but you can pay a token amount that you think is appropriate. I love the free curatorial tours - they are always great and I learn so much.

Enjoyed a fabulous Mother's Day Tea, hosted by Berry Hill of Oshawa at the gallery. Provided a beautiful background and such a day of fun and inspiration. I would highly recommend a visit to this gallery. 👌

The events they have outdoors in the summer are really fun, I've seen Wooly perform here twice and it was great both times.

Went for an outdoor evening concert for RMG Fridays. The events are always a fun treat, and you absolutely have to give the gallery a proper walk through or you will miss some incredible works from wonderful local talent.

I saw everything in three minutes...and this included a 30 second dance video. Lol. But the gallery was under construction so that was expected. I was happy to be facilitated. It's a good activity to pack into a day...as it's not too time consuming. Try visiting with friends to make it exciting and have fun discussions. The staff are really nice and sweet. I got a warm welcome from security and an even warmer welcome from the desk attendant.
