If you shopping fan "especially the brand names", then you should go to Tanger Outlets Cookstown. When I went to this outlet, I could not believe that I would find more than 70 of the best brand names stores in one place. Moreover, you will find everything you want, whether clothes, shoes, jewelry, home supplies and perfumes at discounted prices. It is a wonderful, organized and neat shopping center that you can spend the day in, as there is a good food court. In addition this Outlet is not super busy & easy to find parking spot.

For a trip to this mall one week before Christmas, I would expect a massive shopping crowd but I was surprised how relatively empty it was even for a weekend. There’s no line up at any of the store but quite a few of the stores in this mall were close at 5:30 p.m. despite the closing time advertised for 9 p.m. Overall, it was nice to see crowd reductions and an easy shopping experience.

Nice, bright and clean mall with ample free parking. Not a super busy mall which is good during Covid Times. A bit smaller than other outlets but has most of the brand name stores with great discounts. No food court, only a few restaurants with very limited indoor seating area with Covid certificate verifications. Overall, a good shopping experience.

This is one outlet we enjoy going to. There are a lot of brand name items to choose from. Aside from items for men, women, and kids and kitchen stuff, I also get to buy smoked pork hock from Imperial Meats. The place is clean, aisles are wide. There is no indoor dining though.  There is a coffee shop with a few seats. The place is not that busy that I feel comfortable shopping.

The size of the mall is reasonable. Simple layout covers what I normally needs. Perfect for people who like quiet environments.

Mall is small but has most retail stores you will need , it’s clean , washrooms are clean, my complaint is not about the mall but kiosk that’s in front of the banana republic, didn’t not get the name of that business, they sell face mask and just few days prior to Christmas I was there trying to buy my daughter face mask , lady that was working was so rude , completely ignored my questions about the size , when I asked if I can see what mask looks like ( did not ask her to touch mask ) she looked at me like I am crazy and went back on her phone texting, I waited few min not to interrupt her phone busses then just walked away to banana republic that is 2 steps away a got 3 face mask for $10 . Not sure if this lady understands who business and customers services works but that kiosk is not going anywhere with her service

Great place to shop around in city of Mississauga. Spend a good time and along with shopping also having good food as food court area was very neat and clean, all the safety measurements are followed very well. Recommend to visit if you want to spend money for things to make your life better.

Spacious outlet mall; staff in stores are friendly; lots of washrooms. Not sure if it was because of Covid pandemic, or because of near end of the summer, stock in certain stores seems to be low. They don't have the shoes I was looking for in Skechers or the colour and size of the bamboo towels I was looking for at Oxford Mills Bedding and Towels. The 20% discount book was great and made checking out with your purchases a pleasant experience ;). If you have CAA membership, you get the coupon book free (you must have you CAA card with you); otherwise, the coupon book coats $ 5-.

The best outlet I've been to. Crazy sales and not busy at all! You can bring a small dog as long as you can carry it. People are very nice there too. Place is clean. There are additional discounts if you're a first responder or buy the coupon card they offer online. It has all the major name brands like Adidas, Coach, guess, under armour, Tommy, Calvin, la vie en rose, crocs, peoples, pandora, H&M, blue notes, puma and the list goes on!

We found out this outlet while driving to Sudbury. The outlet is just before the ONroute stop and we decided to stop here for break instead of the ONroute and god did we take the right decision. The outlet had all branded shops and we checked out a Puma outlet and bought stuff at huge discount. There are plenty of neat bathrooms and a couple of food shops available. Definite recommend to stop here to take a break from driving and to shop and dine.

I was very disappointed with the covid-19 protocols that are in place. Visitors do not follow the marked arrows and it is not enforced by mall staff or security. The location has good stores and was not very busy which allowed us to physically distance ourselves. One thing that was very frustrating was all the stores at the location have different hours in place. For instance, the mall is open until 9pm, however stores start to close at 7pm. Some consistency needs to be in place.

My friend and I went to go Christmas shopping, got verbally adulterous and nearly physically assaulted because a women was refused entry for not sanitizing her hands. She left came back and attacked my self and my friend when we had nothing to do with the altercation. The mall needs to start checking photo identification and allow only locals in the mall. Absolutely ridiculous that people from the city are coming here to shop and we just let them take over and abuse everyone else because they can’t follow regulation. Won’t be returning until there is identification being checked at the entrances of the mall.

Zero social distancing and far too many people inside the mall and stores both Saturday and Sunday. They clearly do not care that there is a pandemic going on. Shame on the management of the mall. We walked in and right back out on both Saturday and Sunday this past weekend.

It's very big. Lots of parking. They best thing is the indoor parking. Really helpful in the summer days. Also they have billboards which give you number of empty parking spaces too. There are a lot of shops compared to say stc. Like it would take you a whole day to visit all the stores. But I feel like the food court isn't as big. Not many options.

Went there for the first time on Boxing Day, to be honest I really liked it as it was not busy at all. It did get busy in the afternoon but not crazy busy. If you don’t like much crowd on Boxing Day, tanger outlet is the place you should go.

Having visited some malls @ Etobicoke and others, a visit to this mall outlet presented some distinct features and vibes. Feel selective brands positioning, easy access way, open areas in and around shops, occupancy full but not crowded and good selection available of shoes, clothing and added bonus of bumper clearance and schemes. All in one, a must visit place for your purchases , also fulfilling your crave for foodie genes satiated by branded and reputable eateries. Also posting select photos of Cookstown enchanting farmhouses and green pasteures all along roadsides as we took country way rather then highway to enjoy this scenic route. Enjoy.

This place is quite big and has lots of varieties and deals. The addidas store was a downer though as there were limited shoe options. The food court is not that big either .It should be much bigger but only has few options. I have seen much bigger food courts in much smaller malls.

I am their customer since 2017. I went there almost 3 times a year. They have very good deals most of the time. They changed the Tanger application recently so new app is much better than the old one. The new customer evaluation and rewards system is much better. The deals in the new app is really fantastic. The Under Armour and Columbia always has a good deal. The Mall is very clean and quiet. The only thing I believe they can improve is the number and verify of the restaurant and fast food. I highly recommend.

It's a nice little small mall that isn't too busy during covid. They have amazing deals for clothes especially during the winter.

  • 4/5 Rob C. 3 years ago on Google
There were good deals at most of the stores, others were status quo with regularshopping prices. Brand names like Ralph Lauren, Adidas, Reebok and C.K. weren't worth the 130 km drive. It wasn't very busy on a Tuesday which was nice. The Covid protocols were pretty stringent and well enforced.

I had a really nice experience visiting Square One. The purpose of my visit was to go to a store not available in my city, Burlington or near by Oakville or Hamilton. I purchased a necklace from Tiffany’s for my wife for our 2 year wedding anniversary. The mall had a promotion that allowed you to save %5 on any purchase as long as you bought a gift card through their Kiosk which I did. I bought the gift card for the exact total amount of my purchase and this saved me just under $100. The experience I had at Tiffany’s was incredibly positive and Square One has some killer top end stores just not available in the Suburbs. The image doesn’t do the necklace justice as it is much nicer, another picture will soon be updated.

Not sure If I walked into Square One or the Republic of Gilead. The security guards (undercover ones too) and multiple checkpoints made my experience super stressful when it really didn't need to be. I stopped into the mall to pick up a prescription, some toiletries and takeout. I had to walk through different areas of the mall to get what I needed but I was stopped multiple times and interrogated -- I was also lectured about being out in the mall and having to pick up food. I think your "goons" need to practice some compassion and sensitivity. Everyone's already one edge and no one should feel like they're under surveillance. If you don't want people in the mall picking up food (an essential thing), close the food stores.

  • 1/5 Chris V. 3 years ago on Google
The mall had one entrance # 7 on the north side open on New Year's Eve day to allow essential businesses to be open. This is a big mall what about all the people on the south side of the mall. Also when I got to the doors on the south side I didn't see any numbering of the entrance. I had to call security and they said they are only required to have one entrance open. So great, that means you could open more than one so people don't have to walk all the way around the mall to get into essential services. If you don't want people coming in then just close the mall down. I seen person after person looking confused at the non sense direction by mall management.

Square One is Sqaure One. Before Covid -19 was always crowded. Now in 2021 under lockdown there is limited access to the mall with most stores doing curbside pick up. Walmart is still accessible via the North and South street level doors. Also the Tim Hortons next to Walmart on the lower level South East end of the mall is still accessible from the parking lot at street level. There is no access to square one from Walmart. Earl's is still available for pickup and delivery orders. So is the Bay. All this is as if January 2021. With each lockdown and stay at home order things change.

Some staff with Security need to practice their tough attitude at a ufc arena not at a door when trying to limit people by asking if u have a receipt for pickup when most that did not have it were let in anyway the one guy at door 7 on Sunday afternoon did not like our comment that he let too many people in and it’s unsafe during Covid and stay home orders with no inquiry while stopping others for the same reason train your staff either apply rules to all or get out

Good outlet mall. Have been several times. They have a number of sports, clothing and shoe shops (among other stores) so I can usually find some good deals. There’s also a small food court in the mall if you get hungry while shopping. Plenty of parking. Wide corridors making it easy to walk even if it is busy. If you prefer to shop with less crowds, I would recommend going on the weekdays.

It was truly not what we expected we drove by it many times on the highway and always said we wanted to go there well we did, didn't find any special prices they were typical like everywhere else.

  • 4/5 Allofus H. 1 year ago on Google
This mall is fantastic! It is super clean, and maintenance staff are always on duty. The management office is visible from entrance 1, as are the food vendors. Washrooms are easily found from anywhere inside. Ample parking is accessible from only one entrance, so you can't get lost, because you have to exit where you entered. I only gave 4 stars, because the prices are higher than I would expect from a factory outlet, but deals can be found if one searches.

We have been visiting this outlet mall for years, but today's experience (Oct 18, 2022 Tuesday) was the worst in 20 + years. Looks like everyone (staffs) in the stores are lack of enthusiasm and not even bother to greet customers, busy gossiping to colleagues (loud enough that you can heard their conversations 🙄), some of them only pick & choose white Caucasian customers to greet & talk. For example, Ecco, Samsonite, Dyson Home Essential, Under Armour, Puma, Suzy Shier, West 49, etc. It's a completely weird & negative feeling of this particular visit. However, I wanna called out the good service of the young lady (tall blond) at Under Armour around noon who helped us at the cash register & mentioned about special discount. It looked like she was the only one busy at the front helping customers. 👍 Also the dark hair lady at Eddie Bauer (women's section) who greeted and mentioned about the discounts.👍

Great outlet style mall. Way less busy than Vaughan Mills and has enough stores.

impressive array of stores. Catering to both kids and adults, it offers a diverse shopping experience that satisfies all ages. With well-known brands like H&M, The Gap, Old Navy, Guess, Adidas, Carter's, and many more, the selection of stores ensures you'll find something for everyone, making it a fantastic destination for family outings. One of its notable strengths is the manageable weekday crowds, allowing visitors to explore stores like H&M, The Gap, Old Navy, Guess, Adidas, Carter's, and numerous others in a more relaxed atmosphere. Whether you're looking for fashion, accessories, electronics, or simply to shop, Tanger Outlets delivers a well-rounded shopping trip featuring beloved brands that's bound to please.

Pretty bland and boring. Ugly and sterile interiors. Very little in terms of good deals can only recommend the Nike store and maybe Calvin Klein. Really not worth the detour or drive. Only if you happen to be on the 400.

Decent outlet, lots of good deals. Not crowded with plenty of comfortable seating. Only downside is aside from a few food stalls, there is no dedicated food court area. You have to go outside the mall if you want Harveys, the closest food place. Overall a good shopping experience.

This outlet mall is so clean and open you will find yourself willingly spending time strolling in comfort through the simple t shape layout. Generally speaking this mall consists of shoe outlets, posh casual adult clothing, baggage and travel accessories. THIS IS THE PLACE FOR SHOES FOR ALL.

A fantastic outlet shopping destination! The best part? It's not crowded, and ample parking is available. Decent deals on items, not all stores have “outlet” type experiences that most will be looking for. However, there is room for improvement in terms of food options; they are scattered throughout the mall rather than centralized in a food court. And not a lot of options. On a positive note, they offer EV chargers, a great amenity for eco-conscious shoppers.

Comparing with the other outlet malls, this one was smaller and very basic. Hard to find a parking, not because it was very crowded, because if few parking lot. And the food court ( If you can name it a food court) had very few options. It is noot my favorite one! Note: Vaughan Mills is almost nearby for most of the communities around and it is not worth to go there except live in Barrie or more north!

Since Covid, things are getting rough and tough, especailly the price. My husband is a runner so he needs new running shoes, but there wasn't any good sale events out there. So we drove to Tanger Outlets. Just one hour drive and fun trip for us. Anyhow, we found so many good sale products we were lookong for. The only one thing to improve is more food selections since people spend a long time for the shopping.

Excellent mall and the mall customer service is outstanding. Thank you to the person who returned my wallet. I called mall security who were very quick responding and someone from the office called me right back to confirm they had it. They went above and beyond to get it back to me and it even had the cash still in it. I didnt even remember that I had cash in it. Thank you so much to everyone! The mall itself is fantastic and I shop there often.

This place is always open, most holidays, good mix of stores. I get something every visit. Clothes, from one of the great top brands. kitchen supplies, small appliances or cool dishes. Tim Hortons is on site. Sometimes the outlet is a little busy. But overall good shopping experience.

Everything is deeply discounted, but the regular prices are so inflated that even with the discounts there aren't many good deals. It's a good mall with lots of selection if you don't mind what you pay, but if you're looking to score a lot of deals like you'd expect at an outlet mall, look elsewhere.

Very nice place to shop and walk around, but they do really really need some kind of shopping carts or at the very least, lockers for your coats or something. We were so bogged down with Xmas presents that we couldn't possibly carry anything else, shop and pay for things no longer. We had to call it a day. But overall a great place

Decent store selection, especially if you’re shopping for kitchen supplies. Usually some great sales going on here. The only issue is because it’s just off the highway, it can be super busy at times. People like to come and let their kids run around, which is kind of annoying. Best to go during a weekday.
