6/15/22 Update: this place is highly consistent in their quality, portion and service. Each menu item is very reasonably priced. You should definitely check out in your next visit to Ikea for your K-food cravings. Its located underground level in the same building! --- My go-to for authentic & home-style Korean food. Located concourse level of AURA building. You will be amazed by the selection and quality of food they serve. If you want some legit Korean food in downtown Toronto, look no more. The owner and staff are super friendly and welcoming, making my every visit absolute flatter. Did I mention they also serve Japanese rolls?

This is a food court stall so temper you expectations. The place it totally dead with 5 stall (shops) open and 1 customer eating at a table when I got there. The food here are ok i give it 2.5 star and a extra 0.5 star for good service with a smile. The food might be good here but when there is no turn over even good food goes stail. From some of the previous post it looked like they use to have a wider selection of food but as of my recent visit things have changed. I hope things change for the better for this food court in the future but as it stands now it's just dismal!

Such a good hidden gem with fresh, made-to-order gimbap. The prices are quite affordable and the food is always fresh. They're hidden in the Aura food court, and while it's quiet there, this stall still gets quite busy during the lunch hour. You can call ahead to avoid waiting there.

This was a very surprising find. We were in the area and were super hungry. We saw all the great reviews and decided we will eat here. This is the basement of the aura building. Its just a small shop in an odd food court. Its truly a mom and pop shop. You see lots of people coming and speaking to the friendly owner. That itself was an indicator that place has its loyal customer base. We asked for extra spicy but of course in Korean food, spicy takes the form of sweet. Their gochujang is flavorful and is probably homemade. We enjoyed that we also got miso soup which was really good! We loved the quantity and the taste. Veggies were crunchy and the egg was perfectly runny. We didn't sit in the food court. We took our food to the college park area and enjoyed. Now we can't wait to come back and try other things on the menu.

During my visits to the hospital in Toronto I had a craving for Korean gimbap - and this was the location that was closest to me. I had read the reviews and they seemed relatively positive so I decided to give this place a try, not sure what to expect as I didn't realize that this was located inside a shopping center inside a food court. I am not going to lie, not being familiar with the area I was a little lost and had a hard time finding it but luckily one of the shopping centers security guards helped me find my way. I was a little taken back that it brought me to what seemed like a basement Shopping Center that was dimly lit, low traffic, and a lot of either closed or empty stores. I was a little bit weary but I decided to stick it through when I got to the food court I noticed that they were only three locations that were open all other food stalls looks like they were inoperable. However despite the atmosphere of the shopping center and the food court itself I was very pleasantly surprised with this place, being sure not to judge a book by its cover. The pricing was great, the cleanliness and the atmosphere of the food stall itself was also great. I feel this food vendor could do really well in a more popular place that being said there wasn't a lot of foot traffic during the time that I was there but there was delivery services coming through. I ordered the bulgogi gimbap. As mentioned previously the pricing was well affordable, with 10 rolls in a order and good size. My order was fresh and the person who prepared my order was very quick and super polite. I ended up actually ordering a second order for later because I enjoyed it so much. The rolls tasted just like how my Korean grandmother would make them. Not only was the food great, but the service was amazing too. I believe the owner of the shop was the one who came out and talked to my little one and gave him a lollipop which of course my little one enjoyed! Which made my experience a little bit more personal and comforting. Overall I'd recommend this place for sure, and I'll be sure to visit in the future.

Enter Aura from Yonge St. Go one level down. Find the food court using the signs and you can easily see the place. A very delicious, homemade Korean cuisine. The ingredients were fresh. Highly recommended. The price is also somewhat low: from $8 to $15. I ordered Soup Udon, the daily special.

Great mom and pop Korean shop. Tried the bulgogi kimbap and really enjoyed it! Ordered the seafood pancake and it was really big 🤣 Their daily specials are good portion sized and great value at $10. I've gone back a few times already and it's become a staple for my whenever I'm in the area!

Its so delicious and cheap. Apparently ownership changed about two months ago and since then it added some items that i really like. The ingredients feels more fresh than other places and so the taste feels more homemade. Best korean place around the area!!

A great spot for kimbap! Letting the photo speak for itself, the rolls are huge and stuff full of fresh and tasty ingredients. Great food for the value!

First time coming here and I can tell you that the portion and the food quality is worth the price. Tastes amazing as well and the owner is friendly and accommodating. I am so glad that I found this place and I will come here often :)

Spicy beef soup was tasty: mild and flavorful. Rice cake was on the sweet side which I'm not a fan of.

Was looking for a new source of tasty kimbap near work. Mission accomplished! Took a bit of effort to locate the food court, but now I know and will definitely come back. Kimbap was delicious, fresh, and tasted like home made with love. Should have taken a photo but ate it too quickly! A great find!

Best spicy beef soup I ever had! It's off the menu now though. The army stew is really good too. Prices are great and the customer service is great too! Very nice people:)

I’ll say this is the most worth the price tuna kimbap that I’ve ever bought in downtown Toronto. Can you image it’s only $8.5 in 2022 if you pay by cash! Willing to go back and try more of their items.

Good Food Good ambience. Food was great but not spicy at all. I ordered the bibimbap. Good kimchi.

Got loaded gimbap for a great price that was fresh and delicious. The owners were super nice and the chef even came and asked us how the food tasted while we were eating at the food court. Would definitely go again.

Huge tuna kimbap, very reasonably priced, and most importantly, very delicious! Seasoning is perfect. Highly recommend to people wanting to grab a quick lunch or dinner!

Absolutely amazing comfort food! Mom and pop shop recommended to me by a coworker. I ordered the beef bibimbap. Really reasonably priced and staff was so nice! The taste was awesome - would 100% come back. It was hard to find, but so worth it!

Food was really great! I have never seen any kimbop like this big. The seafood pancake was really tasty with the sweet soy souce they gave me with. This is NOT the foodcourt quality at all. This is the authentic Korean. If you want what real Korean food tastes like, you have to go this place. Price was very reasonable. Serving was fast enough even though there was lineups. Ingredients look fresh. Good location in downtown. It is located in the underground foodcourt of Ikea in downtown. The owner was nice too.
