👍👍 I'm addicted to this place already! Had the pumpkin spice latte, the pluck tea green tea, the breakfast sandwich and veggie sandwich...all were super tasty. I wanna try everything on their menu. They did a great job with the decor as well. Very laid back and relaxed ambiance. Love it here! People often mention coffee, great, options, Great, latte, amazing, work, good,

The most courteous staff ever. We arrived just 30 mins b4 closing, they not only left out chairs for us on the patio but did not rush us to finish our drinks. The iced espressos were very nice and also had an almond danish which was very well made. I definitely recommend coming here.

Awesome cozy cafe, amazing service, best oat milk chai latte I’ve had! The owner Luke is an amazing guy, who really cares about his coffee and the neighbourhood. There’s even a coffee water filtration system on display behind the counter. Delicious drinks and baked goods! Even gluten free options on some days! Will be back for sure! Great place!

Found this little cafe in a snow storm day - what a delight. Excellent coffee, friendly services and tastefully decorates. Wall is a small show room with paint from local artist. Cross the street community hockey.

Very cozy little coffee shop, with a decent amount of seating and board games and books available to customers! They had a vegan muffin available when I was in, and their lavender lemonade was so pretty and so delicious. It’s a nice temperature inside, lots of windows and light, and outlets near the seats. Perfect work or catch-up spot.

Excellent neighbourhood coffee spot. Our 8 year old says ‘they have an amazing atmosphere and I love the art’. Great coffee, delicious muffins. A ton of interesting coffee making devices and reusable coffee cups. Well curated selection of games and books to check out while you’re enjoying your coffee. 10/10

Phenomenal coffee and delicious treats, with incredibly tasty seasonal specialties. Their sandwiches are also fantastic. Staff are always lovely every time I visit. I adore this place and I’m so happy to have them in my neighbourhood!

Everything I ordered was close to, if not the best I'd ever had of that given item (latte+scone+cookie). The definition of cozy. Will absolutely be coming back

Got an iced tea lemonade today. Great service, lots of beverage/food selection, tasteful interior without being too overbearing. For a Monday morning in the summer, there was only one person working inside and no other sitting patrons.. so this would be a great place to work online as (it seems) their wifi has no time limit and it was not loud. Overall, I highly recommend this place for quick-drink runs, online work, and coffee with friends. More details: What they offer: Drinks— They have iced and hot options for a variety of types of coffee (ex., cappuccino). Additionally, there are low/non-caffeinated options such as iced tea (peach black tea and orange blossom green tea) and lemonade. What they offer: Food— There are also many food options ranging from sweet to savoury and meals to snacks (ex., croissants, sandwiches, muffins, cookies). *I do not think there were any vegan or celiac-friendly gluten free food options, but I may be wrong* Prices— Reasonably priced food and drinks. For a large lemonade iced tea, it was ~$4. For a croissant it was ~$3.5 .. etc. If you got one drink and one snack food item, I would expect you’d pay under $10.

Our family frequents Prologue very often. They have great coffee, the best baked goods and a wide range of games we go to play. I’m also a big fan of their Feast salads and sandys!

Once a month I meet a buddy here and it’s always been great. They have a good variety of drink options and food options that work for my dairy intolerance. They also have a good selection of coffee beans, brewers, and tumblers if you want to brew at home. If I lived closer I would definitely visit more often.

Good vibes only: charming book-nerd staff, expertly prepared lattes, tasty baked goods, nice board game selection.

The flat white with oat milk is probably the best coffee I’ve had in Toronto over the past year! We also had the cheddar and chive scone which was bland, and the almond croissant which was a tad bit too rich for my liking. We are definitely coming back for the great coffee and awesome vibes!

Cute little place! Don’t know about their regular drip coffee or other drinks but won’t go back for a latte.

This has been our go-to local coffee shop for a while now. They have a nice variety of drinks and snacks, and they do kid-friendly stuff which our little ones love. We also got some amazing hot sauce from there — they don’t stock it anymore unfortunately but they have lots of other random fun things

Great café. Very charming. Lovely staff and it is great how connected to the community they are. Best coffee in the Main Gerrard area. Also, great hours and they are one of the only coffee spots open on Mondays in the upper beaches.

This is one of my favourite cafes in Toronto. Nowhere will you find more personable staff!!! Luke (the owner) is a sweetheart - always friendly and professional and great at engaging his community members. Pre-COVID, Prologue hosted board game nights, trivia nights and live music on Sundays, and they always had art up on the walls for sale from local artists. A true gem of a spot! Luke takes so much care with his work and is always trying out new ideas and finding ways to make the business serve its customers better, but at the same time does things the old-fashioned way: gets to know his community, makes connections, brings people together. I'm a librarian so I'm all about the literary theme - and I love chatting to Luke about what we're both reading (the cafe has a shelf of books for patrons to read while they sip!). I'm so glad they're surviving this pandemic situation and I hope they're around for a long long time!!! Try their lavender tea lemonade in the summer and always always their fantastic coffee and snacks (the sea salt chocolate chip cookie is my favourite!).

Great Cafe, but I can not get over how great the hand sanitizer smelled here that they offer free of charge. It is simply the best. And I know it's a weird item to leave a review for, but I can't think of anything else recently going on in my life, except how exceptionally great this free hand sanitizer was. Remarkable. The breakfast cookie was delicious.

👍👍 Visited here a few years ago. And recently back to have breakfast again! It is a lovely space filled with nostalgia of old-school deli and restaurants. They have a large indoor dining room, and outdoor patio. Located in the heart of downtown Toronto, they are situated on the very busy University Ave...
