Hidden gem for a healthy and delicious option in the Fashion District near King and Spadina! It's the best bang for your buck around the area without going too far back up Chinatown. Almost missed it several times walking by as it's located at a basement unit in a corner of a building. The menu is clear and simple for the panini, soups, smoothies, and combo deals. The food is absolutely delicious! My favourite is their bulgogi panini with just the right balance between their Korean marinated beef, pickled carrots, jalapeno havarti and house burger sauce. Their soup of the day are usually pretty good, butternut squash is a reliable pick if it comes up! They also have a great panini combo as well with a side of two salads or today's soup with lots to eat. Never feel overly stuffed or overwhelmed by their affordable, fresh and light food for lunch. They're very attentive and considerate as all parts of the order taking, payment and food assembly are carefully reflected in their packaging with cutlery as well. Definitely one of the healthier alternatives in the area! The service is amazing being a family-run shop. The owner/family is always very helpful and the service quality is pretty high! Apparently pre-pandemic, this place always had line ups. Order ahead via some of their app alternatives like Ritual to order, grab and go without waiting too long.

4/5 overall recommended. It's ok. If you have ever been to La Prep, it had a super similar vibe to it and some of the food items tasted identical! It's a safe and fresh choice. Cozy-like home-made vibez. I just made an order through Uber Eats. Recommended Salads: Glass Noodle, Chunky Greek, Kale with Quinoa and Edmame Tuna melt sandwich: 3/5 it had tuna + cheese + tomato. The tomato did not go well with the tuna. It was lacking something. Maybe if they add a sauce or herbs and remove the tomato (?) it lacked something crunchy/fresh/acidic Guac Chicken Panini: 3.5-4/5 it had avocado, chicken, tomato (and cheese perhaps?) the bread was toasted to perfection and it was a safe and solid choice I would recommend over the tuna sandwich *for the record, I liked the salads much better than the food and I would give a 5/5 to 3 out of 4 of the salads I tried here. Hence, an overall 4/5.

I've tried all the salads and all the panini over the past month and they're all amazing. Nook has easily become my go to for lunch a couple days a week. Fast, fresh, friendly and reasonably priced. Can't go wrong.

I ordered my lunch via Ritual and the pick up process was smooth and efficient. I walked in and saw a shelf full of Ritual orders and just grabbed mines. The salad (Chunky Greek and Garden) tasted great as it was freshly prepared. The cream of broccoli with cauliflower was amazing, I honestly thought it was going to taste like canned soup but it wasn’t overloaded with sodium and it tasted healthy. Will definitely be back for more lunch dates! I love this place!

All of my coworkers RAVE about this restaurant. I finally tried it and it absolutely lived up to the accolades. I ordered the maple walnut chicken panini through Ritual and it was absolutely incredible. I did order bacon on mine but it was forgotten, which was a little disappointing but not the end of the world. It was very busy when I arrived to pick up, so it's understandable that this may have been missed. I was able to order and pick up quickly and easily. The inside was well organized as well. I do wish that they would include what's in each of the salads when you're ordering online. I wasn't able to order a side salad because I wasn't sure what was in them, which is why I took off a star. Thank you for a great lunch Nook! I can't wait to come back!

Great spot for lunch. Nice panini selection and tastes delicious! Would recommend the bulgogi, guacamole chicken and my personal favourite, the chipotle turkey club.

Best paninis and quick lunches in the city. Always fresh and delicious, without a long wait. The team at Nook are the kindest people and I’m so happy they are still going strong after all these years. Also the space has seating and the decor is modern and clean. There is an outdoor terrace in the alleyway too, which is great in summer.

Has lunch here for the first time today. Staff were very friendly, paninis were excellent. Great flavour! And the salads were very fresh tasting. Cute patio & very clean restaurant with an open kitchen. Will be back.. probably tomorrow.

Felt really short-changed with the salads it ruined my appetite. The Chucky Greek Salad had no Feta. The Mango Cabbage Salad had no mango. Not sure if it was a staff issue or the deli's standard.

Nook never disappoints!! Love their salad and panini combos. So fresh and full of taste. Cute little place to grab lunch from. Very welcoming and warm staff. The service is great. This is definitely worth giving a try. I have tried their glass noodle salad and their couscous salad. Their soups are also great! Go give this place a a try if you still haven’t

Grabbed 2 paninis to go for lunch. Tried the guacamole chicken and the pesto chicken. Both were solid choices but the pesto has more flavour and would be the one I’d have again.

I was looking for a nice sandwich while in the area and decided to give this place a try. I went with the curried chicken panini with side salad combo. It was amazing! Bread was perfect with a lovely light crunch and the sandwich flavor was to die for! Side salads were equally as fresh and delicious. Lovely atmosphere. Don't hesitate to try this place.

We have used nook for our company events several times and it has been truly remarkable! Great service and very fresh, delicious food! We have an upcoming staff event with 130 people, and I know my staff will be pleased to have such a great quality lunch. Thank you Nook!! (I speak to people in business up and down King Street and they also pop in for lunch and love it).

The food taste great but the small little piece of chicken they give on paninis is pathetic. If you take the sandwich apart it’s like 3 tiny bites worth of chicken and the rest is bread.

One of the best panini’s I’ve ever eaten in my life! I couldn’t stop thinking about how good it was after I finished it. I will always be reordering from here on out. Everything was so fresh and absolutely tasty! If I had to rank this panini, it would definitely be number 1 on my list.

We tried their spicy chicken and chipotle turkey panini sandwiches and they were so so good! Will definitely come back to try the other options available along with the salads! Everything is so fresh here! Would definitely recommend this place :)

If you love sandwiches you have to try this place! We got the pesto chicken panini combo (with soup) and bulgogi panini combo (with salad). Both sandwiches were incredibly flavorful and the bread was soft but with a perfect crunch (if that even makes sense!). Would suggest the salad over soup!
