Great place for a walk in the early parts of the day. Lots of great views and easy walking trails. It's nice to have a place close to the City that still feels somewhat natural peaceful. If you're looking to not see a lot of people on a hike, be careful not to go visit mid day or the weekends as it can get very busy.

This spot was not as nice as it can be. But is a decent overview of the forest.

Here are some views from the summer and fall. Observation Deck is really the best part of this trail. I like how accessible it is to the parking lot. The creek looks particularly beautiful. You can find birds, butterflies and ticks here (so beware!). Dogowners, the place does allow dogs! And hikers, please don't litter, there are bins near the parking lot!

Great blessed place..got married here on a beautiful sunny morning, the sky was a magnificent blue and the trees were a vibrant green..wonderful nature on the outskirts of the 6ixx...but still in the 6ixx..come one come all visit RNUP...beware of ticks no joke stay on trails..highly recommend as a place to visit and clear your mind. Enjoy sights and sounds. Lots of songbirds, butterflies and various critters. Beautiful flowers with brilliant colours. Be on lookout for turtles that were reintroduced to environment courtesy of The Toronto Zoo wildlife rehabilitation program..

Incredible view on top of a cliff. There's a river running below and it also has a pretty nice view. From the parking lot, it's only about a 5 minute walk and is a flat path where you can take strollers if needed. The path can get really muddy after it rains, so just be wary of that.

It is a wonderful place to hiking. It’s too late when I go inside and found that the trail is really not fit for the bike πŸ˜‚ she has numbers of path to trekking. I am definitely recommending this to the ones who are fans of outdoorsπŸ‘

Just a few minutes walk to the lookout area from the parking lot. There's a huge deck with beautiful scenery. Nice place for the photo shoot and enjoy the fall color.

A must visit during the fall. The absolute BEST place to see fall colours if you time it right. During the autumn season, timing is everything.

Its located fairly close to the parking lot. You can see the canopy of trees and the river below. The view would look great with the fall leaves.

Short, but sweet little walking trail with an observation deck, well above the surrounding area. It must be spectacular during the fall season. Also very suitable for biking.

Beautiful place for a good rugged trail walk. The scenic views and sounds are worth many trips. The hilly area and gorgeous colours of fall are attractive. Its a huge area so take your time to enjoy the place. Take a few handy snacks and drinks for the walk. There are signs which say dogs need to be leashed but sometimes the owners don't pay heed to this and it gets troublesome for people like me who are scared of dogs (no judgement please)

It's nothing exciting. Just a deck. And the view from the deck also not that beautiful. I went in July end. May be in falls it would be much better

Peaceful location, not too high in elevation and isn't much to see except the vegetation.

Not really that will blow your mind but still beautiful. This is the central attraction of the Vista trail ( I prefer the mast trail on the other side of the loop)

Beautiful view! I was there July 15, 2022. I took a picture of a gentleman from my Camera and He put his email on my iphone note. When i came back to home the note wasn’t there it disappeared :( I feel bad for this. If you see this comment please reach me out!

Super quick in town walk to do, especially after a bite to eat at a nearby restaurant. Good for kids too.

One of the most underrated places in and around the GTA area. Mini Algonquin, we can say the least. Must visit during the fall season. Also good for hike and trail all year long, except winters. The hikes are moderately difficult, hence proper clothing attire recommended. Not for small kids or old people.

It feature a fantastic view! The multiple levels of the deck definitely give you a great view of the entire valley. It's a bout a 8 minute walk from the entrance where the house is in the pictures. Super peaceful and the river view and sound is great. The occasional train can be seen too! Would recommend.
