I’ve been come here ever since I was a little kid. I still go here to this day. I was there when zellers was around, I was very upset to see it go. Target was there for a bit and then it went too. I wish those stores stayed but this place is still great. There’s many different types of stores for you to buy from. Electronic stores, dollarama, fast food, groceries and more. Go check this place out if you haven’t already, it’s nothing special but it has everything you need.

There were individual businesses like dollarama and I came across this fish-and-chips. Place that served delicious lightly battered fish, and the chips are out of this world taste so yummy with lots of ketchup. There's also metro supermarket. , The Tim hortons donut and coffee.

Well, it's an old plaza, namesake for Shoppers Drugstore and their first location. Diabolical parking lot though. Avoid the front. Out back is better, go in off VP and immediately left or via Leows. Park close to the Dollarama tunnel. More walking but avoids the chaotic traffic in front. That lets you out on Danforth or VP much easier.

I came to collect some prescribed drop medicine for my baby at the pharmacy at 11:25pm, nobody was in the queue, not a single customer. The pharmacist named Raj K. refused to serve me because he was preparing medicine for tomorrow’s patient. This is ridiculous!! My baby’s medicine would not have taken him that long and because he wants to save himself time, he decided not to serve me. This is not good customer service and it is unethical. You don’t get to just make your own conveniences.

This shopping centre has been around for years. I started shopping here in the late sixties when Eaton's had a huge store here. Always lots of parking available.

I've gone here almost 30 years when the flagship store was Zeller's, and the gym was a Goodwill outlet store. It's just always had everything you needed and wanted. Now, a Dollar store, Subway, Radio Shack, Halibut house, and a Lowes Home Improvement outlet. See, it has everything!

This location is well kept and clean but many of the products on sale were already gone and they did not have any more in the back. Sales staff were nice enough to go and check the back but they need to have more inventory for products on sale. It seems that no matter how early I go, the products on sale are always sold out.

Smaller Shoppers. No frozen food is available or vegetables. Great little store for Regula Items like Soaps, Shampoos. Vitamins, Pharmacy on site.

Didn't care for all the traffic that hit that Friday morning. Eid had begun and omg trying to get into the shopping centre was impossible, then head straight to shoppers to be cut off by people just pulling out in front of us to turn left from PetValue, when we had the right of way. I had to yell at one guy to wait his turn. SMH. Other than that Dollarama is a better one than the ones in EY.

This is my SECOND time making this complaint (although this has occurred on several occasions). I'm SICK & TIRED of coming to this location (regardless what time of day) and being followed by the security simply due to being a person of colour. Why was I targeted when there were three other customers in front of her? This is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE. Not to mention the fact that she was HIDING around the corner and spying on me as I shopped with my fiancé. Again, I'm absolutely disgusted with the way shoppers manages their security, and will be contacting the head office.

It is not a surprise that due to inflation prices have gone up painfully. I use to give to Halibut House at least once a week. Now I only go once a month. Despite the price increase I have to honestly say their food is incredibly delicious. Their staff are friendly and very clean establishment.

This is my favourite strip mall. A bulk and Dollar store? Along with Staples, plus many more. A nice, well rounded place.

  • 1/5 Gordon M. 1 year ago on Google
Tear it down, ridiculous in the winter, homless people begging for money outside Dollorama, panhandling, tiny washroom outside, which has only one stall and it's Filthy, one security guard, who could care less about what's going on. Parking is a mess, however I find coming in from the west is usually a bit better, then you have to walk all the way through Lowes to get outside on the eastern side and then walk even more in all types of weather to get to the CIBC. Went to Ritz Caribbean restaurants, ordered boneless Chicken Curry to go, back at work, opened it forlunch full of bones.

Very bad customer service by Catherine at cosmetics section. She is way too bossy, rude, mean, unprofessional and ruthless. Horrible woman! Someone in authority should let her know that she cannot be bossy with customers. The way she behaves as if she owns the Shoppers drugmart! Mannerless woman.

The strip mall itself is getting run down. Metro quality isn't as good as it used to be. Including expired items still on shelves. Look before you buy. Shoppers drug mart staff are mixed some decent but others beyond rude.

Shoppers World is an older styled, single story, strip mall located at Victoria Park and Danforth. Not to be confused with another Shoppers World in Brampton. SW Danforth has all the necessities. Metro Groceries, Shoppers Drug Mart, Lowes, a Bakery, a Dollar Store, Burger King and more. Not the best choice for fashion and clothing but great for most every day items.

The portions are huge! We ordered their Sunday special of fish and chips for $9 and we had so much fries we wished we only ordered 2 instead of 4! They are very friendly and service is quick! Fish is good, nice batter and fries appear to be fresh cut as opposed to frozen. Would definitely recommend this place.

If you wanted to do quick errands and do your shopping quickly, Shoppers World Danforth is an ideal place for me. It's located close to my home, has most of the things and services I need. Lots of parking spots, close to Victoria Park subway station and many many other businesses along Danforth Avenue adds to the convenience of Shoppers World.

Located 3003 Danforth Ave, Shoppers World Danforth is the Go To shopping plaza for the communities of East York and The Beaches. Nearest intersection: Victoria Park Avenue and Danforth Road. 5 minutes walk from the Victoria Park subway station. There are 50 plus retailers there, but I usually go to the Metro, Staples, Burger King, Rona, and so on. I used to live in this area 20 years ago, so I still visit this plaza once in a while to go back to my old days.

What is there to say, it's alright has a few good stores. It's a good place to go if you need any of the specific stores located there also there are a few store located inside the doors when you enter to go to Rona from the east side of the mall Rona entrance including a convince store for smokes and what not an optical place and a few others including a jeweler and a hair place of I rember correctly might have changed since I was last there.

Actually, I had lunch at Halibut House for the first time. The meal was delicious, the staff was great. I volunteer for East York Meals in Wheels Diners Club. Twenty-eight clients had registered to attend, but two were unable to make it, so their meals were take-away. The portioñs of haddock and chips were generous. I opted for coleslaw only, but knowing that it is served with fish and fries, next visit, I will order fish with fries and coleslaw. I had to take home half the meal. There are special meals, but on selected days, not daily specials.

My belly loved the chicken at Metro. Went to the park and ate salads and ice cold beer. All at a good price and had left overs for dinner Great place!

This is my default drug store just out of convenience, but honestly everything about it needs an overhaul: the staff never picks up the phone (I literally was just hung up on after waiting on hold for 30 minutes!), I don't receive SMS notifications for my meds when they're ready anymore, and so I have to go there, wait in line forever, then get treated with a subpar attitude and professionalism from most of the staff, albeit not all of them. And unfortunately there's no other way to contact them.

Great place to shop. The Metro grocery has a bakery and a huge selection of fish and meat products, its large and very clean. M & M Meats is next door. Good selection with helpful service.

One of the best strip malls. Anything you need, you'll most likely have no trouble finding it here. (Victoria park / Danforth)

Hmm well, i thought it was just quite alright....clean and organized and the shoppers does have a nice produce selection. Although i thought it was a little strange that all of the freezers where out of service but other than that, cool!

We lived close to this plaza for 7 years, so have a solid opinion of it. It is a pretty good area in terms of store selection. We mainly frequented the Metro, Dollarama, Shoppers, Lowe's, PetValu, Bulk Barn and Gamestop. I used to also have a membership at the LA Fitness. So this plaza does have a lot of the essentials, which is very convenient. Main issue we always had is that these aren't the best versions of these retailers' stores. Not surprising as this is a below average income area, so these retailers don't consider investing as much. A shame really as this is a high traffic area and has a lot of potential to provide a better shopping experience for the nearby residents.

This is almost a one-stop for everything destination. Metro, Shoppers, Staples, Lowes, Bulk Barn and Dollerama are highlights. The Halibut House shown in the photo is great for lunch. Plenty of parking. Nearby on Danforth are a beer store and LCBO. The only thing missing is a decent coffee shop!

  • 2/5 Stefano P. 1 year ago on Google
There once was a Zellers store there, which I actually appreciated. Then it became a Walmart and now it is a hardware store! There is a small Shoppers Drugmart and a Metro and a CIBC. A very old style plaza.

  • 2/5 Steve 1 year ago on Google
The service is mindblowingly bad. Takes hours to get script filled. No one answers phone, so you don't know if your prescription is ready

  • 1/5 Rick (. 1 year ago on Google
With the use of Electric Scooters rising daily throughout the city, Companies where we shop should be provided a Safe and Reasonable place to lock our bikes, scooters, etc. Having 1 - 10 bike rack, at 1 end of a large parking lot is rediculous. The City should provide locking spaces, but I think the majority of the responsibility lies with the companies we are shopping with. Especially with the Theft of bicycles at an all time high in Toronto, with really no way of retrieving a stolen bike or mode of transportation, EVERY sales company should provide a safe place to park your transportation vehicle.
