I have been suffering from Chronic Prostatitis for over 15 months now. I was referred to 3 different urologists with little to no success. They couldn't even determine the cause!! Ilia has changed my life. I had prostatitis for about 6 years with minimal/no successful treatment from other doctors/urologists. Ilia takes a very holistic approach (ie. pelvic floor physiotherapy, herbal supplements, lifestyle and dietary changes) He is extremely diligent and detail oriented. Treating prostatitis is a long road, but he methodically deals with every possible symptom I have. He also made sure I actually had an understanding of the process, and what effect each medication I took had, and the risks it posed. I cant express the change in my life from this treatment, the reduction in consistent chronic pain and brutal symptoms throughout everyday. If anyone reads this and is thinking "ill just have to feel like this forever" please see Ilia, your family doctor or normal urologist will not give you the treatment he does. He truly cares about making you feel normal again.

Unfortunately, my experience with this clinic was not good. I was desperately looking for someone to help me heal from my prostatitis and I was getting antibiotics and old unproven treatment techniques without any proof of positive bacterial infection. Completely destroyed my gut and set my body and health back. Unless, you have a confirmed positive urine or blood test with an independent lab, I would not trust or take treatment from this clinic. I would also question licensing arrangement for practice.

Dear Google Review Reader Dr.Ilia has been the “light in a dark tunnel” with many years of discomfort and pain from this awful condition.There is knowone in North America that understands “Prostatitis” and the prostate better then him. He actually even has written a book for this condition which I have read. One of the most informative books on this condition that I have read. Well worth the read. My journey with Dr.Illya Began in the beginning of February 2021. After exhausting all resources I turned to him. Through tests that are not covered through OHIP , Dr Illya discovered things that would not show up in a urine sample or blood test. After a thorough diagnosis, Dr Ilia Began a long drawn out treatment plan. Throughout this treatment plan he would monitor me every few weeks through prostate drainages to examine my fluid to ensure I was getting better and to allow the different course of anti-biotics to penetrate my prostate. If you are suffering with prostatitis or any prostate condition, do not go anywhere else but to see Dr. Illya for his professional diagnosis and treatment. I had an amazing experience at the Toronto Prostatitis Clinic. As someone who struggled with prostatitis, finding a clinic that understands the condition and provides effective relief was daunting. However, the staff's compassion and expertise immediately put me at ease. They took the time to listen to my concerns and develop a personalized treatment plan. The clinic's comprehensive approach addressed the root causes of my prostatitis, resulting in significant relief. I'm not cured and still have flare ups but overall better. I'm incredibly grateful for the relief and improved quality of life I experienced. I wholeheartedly recommend the Toronto Prostatitis Clinic for anyone seeking genuine help and effective solutions. The only reason I do not vist the office is my work does not give me the days off I need to vist them. but I follow there advise still and see progress.

Two years ago I started experiencing serious prostate problems that affected my quality of life a great deal. After visiting my GP, a Naturopath as well as two Urologists all who were unable to confirm a diagnosis or provide any relief I became very anxious and depressed. Ilia Kaploun quite literally saved my husband's life. My husband was referred by a friend, as he was having issues with his prostate, but his PSA was not high enough for the urologist his family doctor sent him to be concerned. It turned out after proper testing initiated by Ilia, he had Prostate Cancer with a Gleason Score of 8 (which is quite high), and some treatment options were already unavailable to him because of the stage at which the cancer was at. Ilia treated my husband, dealing first with an infection and enlargement of the prostate, and then ensured he had the fastest and most effective care available, through Mount Sinai Hospital and Princess Margaret. He took the time to speak with my husband and I about the diagnosis, and treatment options and provided direct and honest advice. Any man with concerns about his prostate should consult with Ilia, and any partner of a man with these issues should encourage him to do so. As I said from the start, it saved my husband's life. If he had not gone to Ilia, the cancer would not have been treatable and would have already spread to other areas of his body.

I highly recommend the team at Toronto Prostatitis Care Centre, Dr. Llano and Ilia Kaploun, to anyone in need of prostatitis treatment. I can not thank an Emergency Room doctor enough for referring me to Ilia Kaploun after I visited the Emergency Room for the umpteenth time because of an acute attack of prostatitis. My condition at that time was so unbearable that I was about to quit my job. I was taking pills by the kilogram to no effect. Ilia Kaploun gave me the very best care possible. Today I am able to work and enjoy life because of him. As an aside, while checking on him on the Internet (I speak Russian) I found that he was mentored by the top urologists in Russia - including his father, a well respected doctor and an author of a fundamental monograph on prostatitis. I am soo grateful to have found Ilya Kaploun at the Toronto Prostatitis Care Centre. My husband had been suffering with a severe case of prostatitis for over a year. I suffered with prostate problems for nearly five years until I came across this clinic. God Bless this place and Dr.Ilia for curing me of this horrible illness. It took about a year and a half roughly but it was a tough job. I didn’t know where to run to prior to that so my condition was getting worse. Today I’m all good!! So happy! :)
