Nice place to visit and proud about our soldiers❤️ Over one half of the soliders who served in the Canadian Army overseas during WWI and WWII received some training here. Camp Borden is the birth place of Canada's Air Force and location of the first purpose build aircraft hangar (a National Historic Site).

Love the Base. Beautiful memorial moment of all our fallen soldiers & MIA soldiers, military tanks, planes, helicopters & other military vehicles etc... My son absolutely had a blast.

Very cool place. Donations when you enter to help with the repairs. Amazing gun collections and a crazy larger tank collection inside and out. Definitely worth it for a history fanatic.

Great collection of vehicles, aircraft, and weapons. Plenty to see inside the museum and outside around the base. Some outdoor vehicle displays are easy to find, but others will require a walk to get to them. Regardless, a great collection, and slowly growing as well!

Very good selection of well preserved military vehicles and tanks, even more around the building and exhibited throughout the base Borden. Excellent collection of infantry arms too. Could be a little better organized, but the admission is free, so donate if you want it to continue and expand. Staff is friendly too. I'll drop by again when I'm in the area.

Didn't go inside (as it was Sunday and they were closed). But, great to wander outside and look at their collection up close... Striking how Small everything is in real life

Stumbled upon this while picking something up in Boredon. Indoor part of museum was closed but.... the fields in the area were littered with military vehicles of all kinds. So fun to walk around freely and look at these planes and tanks and such. Looking to go back one day.

An awesome museum for tank and military enthusiasts. A fantastic layout of armored vehicles. Inside the museum has a fantastic display of jeeps, service trucks and tanks. Super friendly and helpful staff. Went during the week and spent the afternoon walking around enjoying the outdoors and amazing displays. Definitely go and visit. If your willing to help they do accept donations to help with other restoration projects.

A great treat if you are a history buff. I have been there twice this year so far. It's a fabulous park and the inside is going to be even better after renovations.

If you're a military history enthusiast like I am you will love this place. Its a little off the beaten path but well worth the drive. At the time of my visit there were covid restrictions with limited access to the full site however the vehical exhibits and fire arm exhibits were oppen. There are many, some unique vehicals on display. The historic fire arms section also has numerous nice pieces. As an added bonus there are numerous vehicals parked all over the base on display to check out.

This museum contains artifacts from over a hundred years ago. There are lots of vehicles to view. Staff are always welcoming, and a donation is the fee for entry. There are lots of tanks to view in the outdoor "park" great for photo opportunities.

A vast number of military vehicles and weapons from around the globe. Donated and/or refurbished. Fun for all ages.

Really cool. Lots of small arms in display cases, lots of old vehicles like trucks, tanks and a few things that were pulled by horses. If you want the deepest nitty gritty details then ask the staff there about the history. I promise you that they won't stop until you know as much as them.

Lots of amazing things to see and read about. It's free, no purchase of tickets needed.

It was a nice afternoon to view all the military vehicles, tanks, planes and helicopters as well as artillery guns and rifles and hand guns. Not only were the exhibits showing Canadian equipment but there was US, British, French and other allies, even German stuff was on display. Overall a great museum.

This place is free to visit so there is no ticket required. This place is wonderful, you will get to see beautiful machines and comprehend the mightiness of it. Helicopters, fighter jets and different kinds tanks; they are huge and build rock solid. I wouldn't recommend going in winter or when it's raining. There are plenty of things to see and take photos from outdoors.

Museum with lots of history, and lots of tanks! (And a few aircrafts too :)) There's a lot to see indoors, tanks and vehicles parked side to side. But there's also a lot to see outside other than the ones right next to the parking lot, bring walking shoes to visit them all. Would have spent more time walking around if the weather was more friendly. Admission is free. There's a cash donation box by the door.

The military museum was interesting but half of the building was closed down and being used for storage

An accidental find while browsing for places to visit during our camping. It was already closed for the day when we visited so we were able to see only the military crafts outside the museum. A must-see, so try including in your bucket list next time you visit Simcoe County. Base Borden Military Museum is one of Canada's largest Military Museum which holds a significant collection of WWI, WWII and post-war armoured vehicles, trucks, and aircrafts. ~~ ctto
