I had a family doctor phone call booked for 10:45 AM for a bloodwork review, its now 2:18 PM so approaching 4 hours and still no call, I've called reception and so far I've been on hold for 1 hour and 31 minutes before I gave up. This is generally not unique to this location as they are frequently late for both in person visits as well over the last couple years I've been using this particular family doctor. When asked why the 45+ minute wait apparently there is always an emergency at this particular doctors office. Its one thing to be late, its another to be incompetent to the point your reception can't answer your own phone for 1.5 hours. Lets face it, you aren't a medical charity, you are a business and we are your clients. You overbook your doctors so you can maximize profits at the sacrifice of your patient's time. Yes you are probably cashing in on the shortage of doctors but as a family doctor you control the amount of people you take on. If you would like to be respectfully treated as a patient I would pass on this clinic and search for better care elsewhere.

Edit: Why am I waiting over an hour on the phone to speak to a receptionist? I called 1st thing in the morning when they open. This place is the WORST for being on time or answering calls. I also was told the next available appointment is 3 months out. Why??? Original review: Wait times are awful at this place. You will blow past your appointment time by atleast an hour just waiting. Trying to get an appointment within a week is not possible, even for specialized care. My doctor seems to never have anything available within the same month, doesn't matter if you need special care and time sensitive conversations about results. Currently booking for Dec appointments but it is Oct... I really like my doctor but this place has the worst scheduling of any medical facility I have attended.

Review for Covid19 Testing for Traveling. Overall experience was excellent! Our customer support agent was responsive and thorough, booked our appointment and communicated all the steps to us as well as the Health Clinic Registered Nurse. She even went ahead to look for the nearest office to our location to better facilitate our needs! The nurse at Woodbridge MCI was also fantastic. She arrived early, and was able to start our paperwork and do the test early. We were in and out of the doctor's office within 20 minutes. So why the low score? While test result times may vary, we were specifically told that our results would be available within 24-36 hours. Unfortunately, our results were not available for almost 48 hours and I had to reach out to our agent to email the results to us... 15 minutes before boarding. Doing necessary traveling during pandemic is stressful enough, but having to wait until literally boarding the flight (and having to call our agent for results at 7:30am) really amped the stress up for us. So while the service, support, and testing were all superb, it is hard to give MCI The Doctor's Office a higher score simply due to the fact that they very nearly failed to deliver.

MCI is the worst. The government needs to have a look at this place. My doctor was great, but the office administrators need to be replaced. They do not alert you that your appointment is coming up. They do not alert you that they are changing location. I made my way to the office only to find it closed and no new address posted on the door. For all I knew they simply went out of business. I'm giving it one star because it won't let me post my comment otherwise. Stay away from the shoddy business. Stay away!

Disrespectful of appointment time. Doctors are not Gods, just honouring their time but not a patient’s time is beyond unprofessional and disrespectful. Saying “I am sorry” doesn’t cut it. Can I say sorry if I am late and still have my appointment time? No! We are grown ups here and we have our own jobs and lives. We have our own obligations too. Delay during Walk-ins are ok, delays because of patient’s fault are also ok. But delay without a reason, that too 1.5 hour wait with an appointment is not ok. If you think your doctor will see the patient late then do your logistical analysis and tell the patient about the potential wait time. Overbooking or not having enough doctors around or not communicating to patients (with appointments) if the doctor is running late does not show good work ethics or a professional environment. I have to add that the nurse was very understanding, kind and relatable. He was very compassionate, not only as a nurse but also towards my situation. He ensured that I felt heard, which meant a lot. So kudos to him. If it wasn’t for the amazing Dr. Tassone, I would have stopped coming here. UPDATE: as upset I was before, I have to say that doctor Kereluik has changed my life for the better. He is an amazing doctor who listened to my health issues and didn’t pass judgement. I cannot share the health issues here but I can say that finding a humble, non-judgemental, caring doctor is rare now. I am utterly grateful to doctor Kereliuk, Sandra at the front desk and the nurse (mainly the male nurse who is AMAZING!) here. Thank you so so so much!!!

So far this year my appointments have been practically on time . Lots of new staff that seem to be effective and efficient. Saying that, I haven't been to the walk in for years so no idea what the doctors are like, thankfull to still have my family doctor at this location.

I came in at 5 15 as a walk in. There were 2 people ahead of me. I asked the receptionist if it's okay I step out for 5 and I came back right away. Other people got called in who came after me but I didn't have the chance to ask because she stepped away from desk for 45 minutes. When she came back she blamed me for not telling one of her staff I came back and then said she didn't know why I wasn't called . Another gentleman here even before me had tried to ask and was told to ask reception who wasn't there. It's been almost 2 hours and I'm still waiting.

Poor customer service. Bad receptionists, which never pick up the call at counter. Terrible management and staff, Dr are good but if you talk to them they will say same this management sucks. Can you believe to hold the phone call for more than two hrs just to know if dr is there. Don’t visit this clinic if you want good service go anywhere else bu not here.

I went to them after work and it was supposed to close at 8pm. But although it was only 5pm sharp they did not receive any more patients, and even the person in front of me got really mad and rightfully so. Then i had to go to another walk in clinic near and though they close one hour early they still had accepted me.

I have a family doctor elsewhere but he gets booked up a lot so I’ve been coming here for years whenever my doctor is too busy. In the past handful of years I’ve seen four different doctors here at MCI, some more frequent than others, but they are all excellent doctors. Very professional, kind and understanding, very thorough and I feel well taken care of. The nursing staff are excellent in the same regard. When my family doctor eventually retires I plan to seek a new family doctor from MCI’s roster. Doctors Wong, Tassone, and Major are all excellent doctors. The medical team is also great with kids and I bring my children here as well. So why only 4 stars? I dropped a star from a perfect 5 because my experiences with the reception staff have been hit or miss. There are those who are friendly and attentive, and those who are borderline rude or take too long to get back to me with an inquiry. But overall, the quality of the medical team is so good I can overlook the issues with reception. I will continue to visit this clinic.

What a joke. Not a walk in clinic as advertised. Walked in to see a doctor after sustaining a head injury the night before, and had to seek medical attention as it got progressively worse over the next 24 hours. Told the way walk-ins work is you have to talk to the doctor over the phone, then come in person if the doctor thinks you need to come in, which works out to a 4 hour process AFTER waiting for a phone call for 2 hours, then having to get there for your appointment 2 hours later. Thanks to no help from this clinic, but the clinic up the street at weston and Rutherford which took me within 5 minutes of getting there to be put in a room and see a doctor shortly after, I was diagnosed with a concussion, sent for X-rays immediately, and the doctor called me with my results 5 hours later, and scheduling me for an MRI as I needed further medical attention after finding something in my neck. This clinic is absolutely disgusting the way it is run, turning people away in need of medical attention. AND TO THINK THAT THIS IS THE LOCATION OF MY FAMILY DOCTOR AS WELL. I WILL BE FINDING A NEW FAMILY DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY. AND I STRONGLY SUGGEST TO ANYBODY NEEDING MEDICAL ATTENTION TO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME COMING HERE AND FIND ANOTHER CLINIC THAT DOESN'T WASTE YOUR TIME.

1:21 pm we waited for a walk in appointment with a 3 year old. It is now past 3pm. We have another patient ahead of us (so maybe another 30-45 minute wait). There are faster walk in clinics not far from this place. Will probably come here only when no other options exist because the family doctor is closed and the alternative walk in clinic is closed. The actual service here from doctors has been good in the past though so I will agree with other reviewers...just the wait times can be as long as an ER wait time. I would recommend the place as a last resort place to see a doctor. EDIT: after the long wait I will say our daughter was seen and the doctor made sure she had her prescription. The walk in place has good doctors in general. Just be prepared for the wait time but it isn't an issue when you have a sick kid and you have to see someone.

I wish I could give ZERO stars for this place due to how incompetent the staff is here. DO NOT COME HERE FOR WALK INS! They call themselves a “walk in” clinic but literally make you wait like 3 hours, and on top of that half an hour just to get your prescription drugs! Like what the hell? This place wasn’t even busy they had 2 people in front of me. Terrible service, should be ashamed of yourselves for working in health care.

I went home and called a 7th time and waited from 7:30 to 7:50(clinic closes at 8pm) and do you think anyone answered the phone??Pathetic. Please dont ever go to this clinic. Its horrific even though most doctors there are good.

I have been trying to call to speak with anyone at this clinic. It is first thing in the morning I have called at least 6 times each time I am directed to Dermatology. Their message states to speak to receptionist before coming in as they do not book appointments for walk-ins. Sooo how can I book appointment if I am on a merry-go-round which keeps sending me to Dermatology?

This is most disorganized and chaotic clinic. They don’t value time. Have waited 5 hours to meet a doctor. And 8-10 days for doctor to be available and let me know my lab results. Though they are supposed to open till 8pm doctors are only available till 12pm. The receptionists are mean and have no respect of customers. They won’t give you an estimate of wait time and would bump your name from the list as they please.

As a patient in the doctors office I have received consistent treatment. Consistently terrible treatment. To start there is no value for my time. While I am billed for missed appointments (once billed because the doctor cancelled on me) my doctor here can miss appointments as they please. I have had two occurrences in a row where the doctor completely missed my virtual appointment. Additionally it was left to me to call and reschedule as not the medical or reception staff noted that my appointment was missed. When the doctor decides that they will see me I can expect to wait anywhere between an hour and a half in person to three hours virtually/on phone for the doctor to appear. I understand that doctors office are notoriously behind schedule but in my time going here I have never been seen by the doctor within less than an hour of my scheduled time. This is not to mention that my doctor seems to never have an answer for any of my medical questions which is unsettling at all times. Another notable experience was when they had nursing students on staff. I have nothing against students in the medical field however I like to be informed of what is happening with my care team. One day while waiting for the doctor a nurse cam in silent performed check on me and left. Following him another nurse cam in and repeated the same checks. I asked her why is she repeating the checks if someone already did them. She informed me the previous nurse was a nursing student and they have to verify his exam. Not only did the 'nurse' not identify him self as a student, he or his supervisor/licensed medical staff did not ask my permission for him to conduct the exam. This is unprofessional an unethical, and at the risk of sounding uneducated may be against the Health Care Consent Act. Finally the reception staff. While they are always kind they always seem to forget or contradict each other. I will have confirmed appointments made by one staff member which miraculously change to another time when speaking to another staff member, which then change to another time when speaking to another staff member. No one staff member can seem to agree on the time of my appointment anytime I call. I do not understand how I am given an appointment, I accept and confirm and then the time always changes with out notifying and I only find out it has been changed by 20-30 mins when I show up( the long wait applies from the time of the 'new' appointment time not the 'old'). In summary I do not recommend this place for a family doctors office. They are always 1-3 hours behind, you will waist your time. In my experience the medical staff are unprofessional and lacking knowledge. If i could give 0 stars i would but unfortunately it has to be 1.

I went to the walk-in clinic on Sunday. It took three hours in the waiting room to be seen. But Dr. Gregory Major is the best doctor I have seen since I came to Canada years ago. He is a wonderful person, very polite, friendly and professional. He even speaks Spanish!! Sadly, he can't be our family doctor; otherwise, we wouldn't think twice about having him. 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

Friendly staff, short wait time. Doctors are caring and take time to actually listen, not like many other walk ins. I was really surprised by so many negative reviews.

The Mgt on this clinic needs to re-educate their front desk staff. Most staff on the front desk are rude and unpleasantly unprofessional when they deal with customers in person or telephone. If your staff is not happy with their job please replace them with someone who can deliver courtesy and pleasant customer service, for sure many are looking for that spot and willing to work. Doctors are great but frontline staff are obnoxiously unprofessional enough to deal with daily customer service.

Thank you everyone at the clinic! I found this clinic to be quick and efficient with communication. Receptionists (Stephanie on weekday, and gentleman on Saturday Morning) were quick to provide accurate info and the transition of speaking with a Nurse and Doctor was seamless.

Wait time are horrendous. If you have a 4 hours to kill...go to this clinic. My wife went in at 11:15 and was seen at 3PM. When she walked they said 8 ahead of her - so they average seeing 1 patient every 30-45 minutes? Considering they spent 10 minutes with her when she was finally seen doesn't make much sense.

There is an add sign with this places phone number saying accepting new patients. Called 4 days in a row. Waited for over an hour each time. No one pick the phone. Finally got them this week. They told me cannot book an appointment as they are not sure what days the particular doctor will attend the Woodbridge center. Poor customer service. Won't go there. The Ford government must bring in more qualified family physicians. It is high time.

I'm not sure why this place get's such a bad rep. When I went the inside was very clean, the secretary/nurse was nice, and Dr. Terry Wong was very nice and helpful to deal with. Sure you might wait an hour but it's a walk in, in a busy area of course they are going to busy and full. I liked coming and will certainly return.

0 stars I've had long standing issues with this clinic. One of the main ones: every time I am on the day's wait list for phone appointment with a doctor, they somehow go through their whole list (or so they say) and miss my name. Happened so many times I reached out to the manager. Manager apologized and finally (at that time) got to speak to a doctor and still got no follow up. Now over the past week, every time I call during business hours, even when I call early in the morning, I get told there are no doctors available. Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday no doctors. I got told they are working from home but not taking any calls. What work are they doing from home? How is a clinic operating that 5 out of 7 days no doctors are available and thus patients can't book appointments? I've left several messages for the manager at this location, as well as called head office, and no one has gotten back to me. This clinic will swipe your health card just to get taxpayer money and government healthcare allotments and won't even give you an appointment. I am going to file a formal complaint. For anyone wondering, the College of Physicians and Surgeons oversee clinics and you can file your concerns there also. Shame on you MCI. I am withdrawing my file from your (lack of) care.

The main doctor that works here everyday gives the WORST advice and doesn’t even want to help his patients. You can see he hates his job. There’s only 1 good doctor that works here and he only works once a week so you can’t even see him!

  • 5/5 Patrick C. 3 years ago on Google
I am shocked by the low ratings. This is a really good office and my doctor is amazing. I think walk-ins get frustrated not realizing that for some, this is our family doctor and we have appointments, and I can certainly understand people get frustrated when feeling ill. Be kind and stay safe and please realize everyone is trying their best these days.

I called on a Sunday and was greeted ever so kindly with a male reception, amadeo. One can tell he loves his job. He was so helpful with making me understand how the clinic is working during this pandemic. Then after A nurse called me Jean and was helpful for transferring me to the dr. Major. He called me and he was so kind and helpful as well. The doctor didn’t rush me and was able to be patient with me. This place is so professional and one of my easiest The reception, nurse and Doctor on Sundays are one of the greatest. It definitely made my first visit easy and bearable especially during these difficult times. Thank you MCI Woodbridge.

I wish to express my disappointment regarding the service I received during my visits to the MCI Doctor's Office. On both occasions, I encountered a front desk lady named KISHINA whose behavior was highly unprofessional. Despite my attempts to maintain a respectful demeanor, Kishina engaged in rude and confrontational behavior, including laughing and arguing with me for no apparent reason. Such conduct is completely inappropriate, especially in a medical facility where patients, many of whom are unwell, deserve understanding and courtesy. I believe it is essential for the management of the clinic to address this issue promptly, ensuring that all staff members, particularly those at the front desk, uphold the expected standards of professionalism and respect for patients. This will not only enhance the overall experience for patients but also contribute to a more positive and supportive atmosphere within the clinic. Although I love my doctor.
