CASH ONLY, however, they do have an ATM on site. Otherwise, there are bank ATMs about 5-10 minute walk depending on which bank you’d like to withdraw from. Very busy Friday and Saturday evenings. First come first serve. You’re not allowed to drink in the rooms, which means the main check-in area can get uncomfortably packed. They have snacks like chips and chocolate, as well as some food items like burgers, wings and fries. Lots of English songs, however, the karaoke controller isn’t. They do explain how to use it when they walk you to your room.

Nestled on the higher floors of an old building in Koreatown... Very inaccessible (2 steep flights of stairs), old facility for karaoke. I called to book but they accept bookings through their website ONLY. Cash ONLY. They serve alcohol and meals/snacks here but we didn't get anything. Their system is all in Korean and you get a keyboard thing with some English stickers on it. It was very hard to use (as someone who doesn't read or speak Korean) and we had to ask the employee to explain it a few times.

To be quite honest, the English selection is no good. The song also plays fully which wastes time that we booked and the lists categorize by SONG not artist which is hard when most of your time there is just swifting through pages of nothing. Bar+ is a 100% better. I only saw like 3 Drake songs. Also when the song plays it's not even playing the music video smh rip it's some Korean videos.

My husband and I love taking friends here for last minute plans! They have an “Audition” room that’s only $25 per hour and walk-in only. It holds up to 3 people and if you want to add another person it’s $5 per extra person. Their song selection is great and the rooms are spacious.

this place is amazing!!! such good vibes!!! the sweetheart who made our drinks was new and she was so sweet!! and when one of our mics stopped working at the 30 min mark (we initially payed for an hour) the manager (i think she was haha) moved us to a new room and gave us another half an hour free!!! amazing service, great vibes, so much fun. 100% recommend for a first-time karaoke night !!!

Despite the stickiness and outdated (I think 2016) song list, overpriced Soju (22 for a bottle), this $25 per hour at 9pm on a Friday night was one of the best times I've had in awhile. Because most of the time it's not about the venue but the friends you're with, and those friends are a 4/5, could be better.

Had a great time here. The hourly rate is a little high compared to other places in the city, but if you're a big group and split the costs, then it's ok. The staff were friendly and helpful from booking to assisting us with our TV when it froze. The downside is that it is cash only and stairs are dangerous when drunk (in general) but the last two (really small) steps when exiting almost killed half my group hahaha good times though, will definitely return!

Convenient karaoke location in the heart of Korea town. Pros: prices for both room and drinks are reasonable, and the staff are very kind and responsive Cons: cash only so make sure to bring your money or you'll have to use the atm (and pay the service fee). Some of the rooms are nicer than others. Ours had dirty seats and a mobile air condition unit which was very loud.

Echo is great place to stop by for some cheap karaoke. For $25/hour you get access to a wide variety of american, korean, japanese, etc. music. I do have to note that the selection of newer songs is quite limited, however, if you are into throwback music this place is perfect. l appreciate that the remotes are label and a reference guide was provided in english to make navigating the system much easier for non korean customers. The downside to this location is that the karaoke system doesn’t provide a score at the end of each song like others might, so keep that in mind if that is an aspect of karaoking that you value. The second time I visited this location I was also placed in a room with a very loud ac system that was making cracking noises throughout my session.

A fantastic experience! Good English song selection, nice soundproofed rooms with good mics and speakers, and really good AC inside the rooms. The rooms seemed to be clean and tidy, and the bathrooms seemed well serviced. Upstairs rooms are no liquor (including bringing liquor into them), but you can buy and drink your liquid courage on the main floor. Only cash for everything.

I came to spend my birthday with some close friends, and it was great they were pretty accommodating given we came a bit earlier than expected. But bring some cash that's all they take. Also wish they had better music selection it was quite limited and it was organized by song witch made it so tough to find any song. I spent most of the time trying to find a song while my friends were singing which was kind of annoying cuz we couldn't really enjoy listening to each other. They should have better selection, more newer songs, and be organized by the artist since most people know artists not songs specifically. Also noticed that with some songs they'd extend the song chorus so that your time would go by a lot faster which kinda felt like a scam. I hope they're able to improve with the feedback given. Overall it was fine but could have been better!

I think one in the group had booked a reservation so when we arrived, we were quickly escorted to our karaoke room. It was spacious and had everything we needed. Good times. Great service.

worst place to have a beer in toronto. My Sapporo was warm as hell, I tried to tell the server that it was not drinkable, but he offered me a cup of ice… this is offensive bro

one of the best karaoke bars in the city. They sanitised the rooms and provide covers for the mic. Great song selection and good atmosphere. They take cash only and we called ahead booked a no alcohol room and we’re quickly accommodated

3.5 stars. We had to reduce the size of our room due to some cancellations, but they were able to accommodate same day which was great. The room was much smaller than I anticipated, and while a bit tight for our group, it was useable. The mics here are attached to the machine which didn't cause any issues but heads up for anyone else wanting to book. The room was nothing special, had a celing tile missing, but no one is looking up there anyway. It had a multicolored strobe light for fancy-ness and appeared to be fitted with a black light but it wasn't turned on so maybe it didn't work. The air conditioning in the room was fantastic and was actually a bit too cold at one point, but the fact it was effective was much appreciated. Song selection was decent, but definitely had more Korean and other Asian songs than English ones. One thing our group noted was most songs were not the original but some midi/synthesized versions which didn't go so well with many of the songs we chose. Also, the "music video" for every song was very distracting because they seemed to be the same rotation of Kdrama videos or Korean music videos that didn't go at all. Staff were responsive and friendly. They came quickly to reset the system when there was an issue, and to adjust the air con. They had a slightly limited drink menu but we didn't notice much. 38$ pitcher of mixed drink to split is the best I've seen so far, and it was tasty too! We ended the night around 12:45 am and downstairs there was quite the crowd from the bar on street level so ladies be advised. Nothing untoward happed AT ALL but it's good to have a heads up.

Had a larger group. We were sent downstairs into a cramped room with 6 tables and some chairs. The room wasnt soundproofed as it was annoying trying to sing and having to hear the other group in the adjacent room singing as well. The heat was cranked up and we were all sweating and uncomfortable. The building is very old and dingey. For a larger group I could not recommend Echo as the price you pay for a bigger group is not worth it for the experience.

Had a very good time! My first karaoke experience and I was not disappointed. The interior of the building matches the karaoke vibes. The karaoke system was easy to use and my friends and I decided to stay an extra hour. Place is in need of a little more cleaning as the floors were a little sticky in our room.

The single best place for karaoke in Toronto. Amazing rates per hour. The staff is FANTASTIC. And the rooms are super clean! I don’t give it 5 stars just because I would LOVE more current songs. Otherwise…. LOVE IT!

I've visited a couple of karaoke places in Toronto however came across this one this weekend. Was very disappointed in their outdated song selection, their microphones (you have to yell right into the mic - bad quality and cannot even control the volume) and the machines themselves. The disco lights on the ceiling would shine into my eyes every 10 seconds, therefore not a pleasant night.

While the staff working here were about as nice and helpful as they could be and the rooms are fairly cheap, Echo Karaoke has lacklustre facilities, equipment, and reservation processes. Reserving a room required us to go through an unusual reservation approval process instead of simply selecting our time. Once we arrived, we were disappointed to see that some of the benches were falling apart, one of the speakers was completely broken, and many obvious essential songs were not included in the list, while other strange and obscure ones were. It is possible to enjoy yourself here with the right group of people, but there are several areas that Echo could stand to improve.

Can't recommend it. The staff were killjoys and more focused on giving warnings than creating a good atmosphere. Many of the rooms are unlicensed so no drinking during karaoke. Also a very limited list of songs, even the biggest artists might only have 7 songs.

It was really hard navigating the machine to find the songs we wanted. The remote was in Korean. We went during the summer and the AC was timed. The AC was not strong enough. Would only go if you want to karaoke on a budget!

Such a wonderful place to be at. I was surprised with their latest equipment & the collection of songs. It was amazing. The speakers and the sound quality was perfect. Must a go place. The staff in there was super kind and friendly

I lost some cash and was searching my pockets quietly off to the side before ordering from the bar, only to have a security guard harass me and demand to search me, while asking humiliating questions. I was too humiliated to order, so their loss. Don't come here if you want to be treated like a human being.

It's a pretty good setup. I did find it somewhat difficult to understand the controls in the initial 10 mins, but once we figured out, it was good. The videos are not synced with the music. Hence, you'll be seeing a Asian video if you choose English songs. It's pretty reasonable pricing with no minimum for food. It's open until late night as well.

We have been going here for 3 years now and it still has the best vibes! The staff are AMAZING, and they've recently added a lot of new songs so if you're into newer songs, not to worry! The prices are reasonable and they have fantastic drinks as well!

Limited music selection, no drinks inside the rooms was also a big letdown for me

  • 2/5 Some G. 7 months ago on Google
The microphones seem to work very, very poorly. You need to yell so loud for them to pick up your voice, at least in the room I was in. The nature of the karaoke machines was nostalgic to put it kindly and inadequately outdated to put it realistically. Service was fine, atmosphere was dark and kind of run down. Prices were weirdly high for a just alright experience. The best part of course was friends, but needless to say we could have a good time elsewhere.

Very fun atmosphere, a worker explained the remote but it was still confusing - mostly in Korean aside from the main buttons being labelled in English. Wide variety of songs but did not have many hip hop/R&B songs my group wanted. Would come here again but try out other places first

Lovely Kareoke bar. Had an absolute blast. The staff are absolutely wonderful. I do wish there was a bigger English song selection and that the music videos were the actual music videos and not dubs

Great people and fun atmosphere. Bit of a wait to get a room, and it was a bit hot. Fun experience nonetheless! Wished they had more songs from 2000s rock-n-roll era though

wonderful night out. karaoke machine and its song lists seem to be timely updated.

Good luck using the remote to search for songs. It just makes the experience 10X worse. It’s impossible to find a certain song without scrolling for 15 minutes and the music videos to go with the songs are knock offs. Save your money go somewhere else.

  • 3/5 D.Nass 11 months ago on Google
Went to echo with a larger group in a reservation upstairs. The top floors are not licensed so you have to drink everything you buy at the bar area on the first floor. A bit inconvenient when you have to finish drinks before going back to your room, especially when you’re paying for the rooms by the minute. I spent more time at the bar area than in the room itself… makes little sense. Otherwise the staff are nice and the song selection is ok.

The staff was extremely friendly. I do have to say had a fun time overall, but the owners really need to revamp this place. With Covid, Karaoke would be a great time to spend with friends but the sanitation of this space was EXTREMELY questionable, no covers on mics, no sanitizers in rooms and not really sure if those books were ever cleaned. Honestly, probably would not return but potential to be something great.

Visited last night in a group of 15. We were in the venue's largest party room. The room was relatively well-kept, the rate was reasonable, and our bartender/host was informative. My only concerns are that it is not an accessible place (there is a narrow and steep staircase leading up to the venue, which is on the second floor of the building) AND it's cash-only.

  • 5/5 Anisha T. 1 year ago on Google
Very fun spot ! Staff there are amazing have great communication and of you need help they are there ASAP . Space is always clean music in the lobby entrance is bupping to help set the mood. Very busy spot so if you have a group of fteie d make sure to make a reservation like 2 days before so you can guarantee a room. If not they do offer walk ins with a 30-1 hour wait which make sense cause they charge the hour so you have to wait till someone leaves the room. Drinks a reasonable prices and so is the hourly fee for kareoke!! For sure now my go to spot

  • 3/5 Kit D. 1 year ago on Google
Honestly it's a cheap looking, run down location for karaoke. Rooms smell of smoke even though there's no smoking signs inside. Front desk had us waiting for 10 mins while she was taking a call on the phone. Price is reasonable for a Korean karaoke joint.

Cash only! White-label ATM on site. Learning curve on the song selection, but got it after a little while. Used to serve food from Clinton's kitchen, but seem not to any more. Had a great time! It's Karaoke!!

  • 4/5 Elliot 1 year ago on Google
Echo Karaoke is a solid karaoke spot with some lovely rooms and very nice staff. The machines have karaoke covers rather than the original instrumentals, so sometimes you need a beat to figure out the flow, and it's a pretty busy location so you should try make a reservation instead of walking in the night of. It's right by Christie subway station so its super accessible as well.

  • 5/5 Sorcha G. 1 year ago on Google
I think this is my fav karaoke place in the whole city. The individual working every time I’ve been there, Lee, adds a whole new level to how sick this place is. She’s so fun and friendly, and always willing to engage in me and my friends drunken conversations. Any time we had an issue with the room (I stepped on a mic cord!) Lee came in and fixed it no problem. And the drinks are great! It’s cash only, but has an ATM on the premises if you come last minute or forget to grab cash. Good song selection and there’s really something for everyone! If you’re in the area, give this place a shot!

  • 5/5 Jordan F. 5 years ago on Google
Great value karaoke. Sing your Fleetwood Mac brains out. Greatest weakness is that their book doesn't sort by artist. Doesn't seem like a big deal until you're sure you wanna belt out Prince but want to scroll through the catalogue before you letter rip.

  • 3/5 Matthew J. 2 years ago on Google
Very average karaoke place. Not Covid friendly. The lobby can get super packed and it can get quite claustrophobic. They only accept cash so make sure you have or use or use ATM. The karaoke rooms are quite dirty. Looks the seats haven't been cleaned since the place opened. You can tell that the general building was very old and that the quality of products they offered were very outdated. The book with the music was extremely sticky and gross. Lots of spilled drinks which they clearly never cleaned. The music is not up to date but most English speaking bangers were on the list. The most recent song was probably somewhere in the 2017-2018s. What was weird is when we sang English mainstream music, the TV would play a video that had 0 correlation with the music. Very random.
