The food is tasty and cheap. Hope they can open longer like 7pm or something Update: they took my suggestions, open to 7pm during weekday! Yay! I came back a few times, they have been busy with more customer, so expect a longer wait time. If you want to takeout, call in first and get the estimate time, then go take them. Don’t just go in order and wait, it can be 45 mins long.

I’ve heard about this place for quite some time as the breakfast is supposed to be awesome. I was feeling for bun vermicelli so I decided to give this place a try. I paid $13 for this, this is usually $15+ at other places. I also ordered a Bun Hue spicy beef soup. The Bun Vermicelli was a good portion of noodles and veggies but the chicken was very little in comparison to other places. I would say adding extra chicken for $4.50 is what is needed to bring it on par. Nonetheless it was good but missed that extra protein. The soup was for someone else and they said it was pretty good. This was $16. I would definitely order again. Note this was delivered so the chicken was tossed about as u can see in the box. Update: ordered from here again and the Pork Bun Vermicelli was very tasty.

Came here for brunch on a Sunday. I've been meaning to try this restaurant for some time, as it's in my neighborhood. When you first walk in, you can tell this place is a neighborhood store. It's not just a restaurant, but they sell candies, lottery tickets, convenience items and more. The place has that specific charm as well, with a ton of decorations everywhere, including Christmas decorations during April. But all in all, it can definitely use some upkeep and renovation. The food prep station had no space, so they had food items in buckets on chairs and even on the floor. When it came to the food, I ordered the Eggs Benedict, which came with coffee, and I ordered the house fresh made juice. The prices were very cheap for the neighborhood. $6 for the juice and $11 for the Eggs Benedict which came with fries and a coffee. The juice was amazing, and made to order. The coffee tasted fresh and was also delicious. But then there was the Eggs Benedict. The peameal tasted off, like uncooked fat, and the eggs also had an off taste and flavor. And to top it off, literally, the hollandaise sauce was caked on and flavorless. All in all, I was not impressed with the breakfast and could not finish mine. I would come back to try their pho, as other reviewers have been impressed with that item, but I'll stay away from the breakfast items.

Many thanks my friends for taking me to this restaurant. When you open the menu, you will be surprised by the affordable prices. It is hard to find a restaurant in GTA which still charges $12.5 for beef rice. You will be further surprised by both the quality and quantity of the food. Initially I thought that some pieces of beef will be served. My beef rice comes with short ribs. There are 9 pieces, thick and medium rare. This reflects the generosity and the skillfulness of the chef. The sauce also surprises you. It is not ordinary fish sauce. It is mixed some vinegar. This is game changing. It makes the experience delightful, in particular when you sit at the pavilion and enjoy a sunny autumn afternoon. The attendants are also friendly. I would say I should have known and visited this restaurant earlier.

At its heart, the restaurant offers good value for the price. I almost never order appetizers, but since the main meal (beef pho in my case) was very affordable, I opted to try their veggie spring rolls. I'll be honest, I wasn't a huge fan of the food but it might just be me. I rarely eat Vietnamese food. However, seeing the portions, prices, and the cozy indoor and outdoor atmosphere makes me think it's worth to give them a try at least once.

I had the beef pho + fresh shrimp spring rolls. The prices are really reasonable. They're on a quiet street so I was able to enjoy my lunch on their shaded patio. Can't wait to be back!

nice Vietnamese and western breakfast fair. In terms of what I got (pictured) it seemed par for the course in terms of what you tend to get at Vietnamese restaurants in Toronto. chicken in the bun bowl had a nice charred flavour. Dining inside makes for an interesting experience given the defunct convenience store look. There was a fair amount of people coming which was a bit distracted. They seem to only be serving on takeout trays / plates at the moment.

We went here a couple of years ago during Covid and ordered take out and really enjoyed their pho. However last week we decided to come back to try it out and the food was alright. It was just average. It’s like a take out restaurant where you order at the front and then pick a seat and they’ll give a beeper when it’s ready.

UFO is just north of King Street on Niagra. The food here is super yummy and inexpensive! Today we ordered on Doordash from their Vietnemese menu. It was so fresh and delicious. Will definitely order here again! We had spring rolls and vermicelli with grilled chicken.

the best authentic vietnamese food that you can get in the city that won’t break the bank. the grilled chicken vermicelli is a large portion, and everything is so fresh. the pork spring rolls are super crunchy with an amazing filling on the inside. beef broth at this place is so flavourful I was just sipping on it alone. ordering takeout was extremely fast for the amount of items I ordered, and they were so nice to me despite coming in near closing time. I can’t say enough good things about this place. go try it! I’m excited to come back and try more items :)

Excellent cozy little Vietnamese restaurant. Food is delicious and not overpriced. The Vietnamese sandwiches are incredible and probably the best in the city.

After a great time outdoors, my friends and I decided to satisfy our hunger at UFO Restaurant. The variety on their menu was impressive, providing something for everyone. We were a bit surprised that we had to order at the counter and bring our food to the table ourselves, but the friendly staff member who took our order guided us through the process, explaining everything in a manner that was easy to understand. We ordered B3 Egg Benedict, P4 Large size Special Pho, and V7 Grilled Chicken & Spring Roll vermicelli. The pho had a mildly flavoured soup, packed with an ample amount of tender meat and generous portions of rice noodles. As for the vermicelli, it was served with large pieces of spring roll and juicy grilled chicken. The contrasting textures of the crunchy spring roll, succulent chicken, and soft vermicelli were an absolute delight, and I savoured every bite. The ambience of the outside patio added to the pleasant dining experience, with small birds visiting every now and then. Overall, we had a fantastic time at UFO Restaurant. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a tasty meal that does not break the bank.

Wow saw all the stellar reviews so had to try it after thinking it was a convenience store for 3 years. Had the bun bo hue and chicken banh mi for dinner. Everything was cooked fresh! Meat was juicy and the banh mi bread was light and crispy toasted on the outside. The pickled carrots really enhanced the flavor. The soup was so flavourful and perfectly spicy leaving my sinuses running in a good way! Recommend people to try this gem out.

I would absolutely recommend this place. Everything is made fresh to order. Homey feel. Banh Mi is incredible. Fresh crispy bread is the star and vital for any banh Mi. Chicken is juicy and flavorful for fast food chicken, exceeded my expectation. But the Pork is so delicious it’s hard to compare. Great amount of veggies and Mayo, interesting to see tomato on it cause I’ve personally never seen it but good nonetheless. Pho broth is tasty, right amount of fat to salt, and noodles and toppings are fantastic. The raw beef Pho is great. Toppings are packaged separately so you can dictate what you want in it. $12 for a large, decent amount in Toronto for the most part. This was our first time trying Vietnamese coffee. Delicious. Dark roast with a smooth and sweet flavour.

This place did not disappoint!! 100% my new Pho spot in the neighborhood! I had the rare beef pho and deep fried pork spring rolls. The broth was flavourful, meat tender, and spring rolls crispy!

I frequent this place for lunch at least couple of times a week.. grilled chicken vermicelli is my go-to every time. I’ve tried the raw beef pho, but I found the beef to be too tough. It’s a no-frills type of place that serves great affordable Vietnamese staples, and offer a surprising amount of western food options too.

Such good Vermicelli! Was around $16 The vibe inside is cute and it’s a small family run shop. There’s a nice patio outside too. Great spot for Vietnamese food!

UFO in Toronto is a hidden gem for affordable Vietnamese cuisine. The pho is flavorful and comforting, with generous portions of tender meat and fresh herbs. Their banh mi sandwiches are a steal, loaded with delicious fillings. The service is friendly, and the prices won't break the bank. It's a perfect spot for a quick and satisfying lunch.
