I’ve tried many many coffee shops in Toronto and this place by far has the best espresso! Cappuccino was smooth and velvety and the taste of espresso really stands out. Staff were fast and friendly. Almost don’t want to go to other coffee shops after this 🙂

Having moved from Melbourne to Toronto very recently, I consider myself to be a coffee snob, and I was quite disappointed with the coffee culture in Toronto. However, the coffee at Gourmet Coffee Roasters are amazing and possibly the best in Toronto! Thanks guys!

I have been buying coffee beans from Everyday Gourmet for years, and I am especially grateful to them for replacing the "wrong" coffee beans I somehow bought last month. When I returned them yesterday, the gentleman was extremely pleasant and very understanding. Excellent customer service like this is really appreciated, and it only strengthens my loyalty to Everyday Gourmet; consequently, I will continue to highly recommend Everyday Gourmet.

Not even gonna bother saying the beans are good… just watch this beautiful pull…best beans I’ve had and it’s cheap? And it’s fresh? And you can bring your own jar/bag? Got 10 bucks worth of beans and a latte to go, absolutely would come back. Only problem is I don’t know what I’m gonna do after I move away!

Super friendly owner, Sara plus staff in business since mid 1980’s. Extremely large selection of FRESHlY roasted beans. Plus, for those from USA fresh roasted Cuban beans. Super HIGHLY suggest loading up on coffee beans if you are in the area. In the basement and worth the effort.

Great coffee from an independent roaster, at far better prices than commercial stores such as Starbucks etc. I was rather pleased to be able to order a cortado here whilst my companion ordered had an Americano. Both were excellent. The selection of coffee beans was very impressive with the photo below only reflecting half of their offerings.

Literally the best tasting coffee I’ve had. Everything tastes super fresh and the flavour is very intense. If I lived nearby I’d come every week and buy some beans to ground.

Heaven sent. Fresh beans that are roasted on site (every batch is labeled with the roast date so you'll have the option to get the freshest beans available). I love how this place is very accessible and I always get to try different varieties every time I return to replenish my stock. Around 300g is enough (for 1 person, once a day [2x a day every 5 days]) for at least 2 weeks, and the prospect of getting back to get a new bag of beans is always exciting. I hope this place stays here forever ❤️

They roast the beans on-site and you won’t find any old beans. The roast date that you see is exactly what you get. Prices are pretty much on par with big brand coffee you can get at the grocery store, but the beans are super fresh and the quality is definitely a step up. Highly recommend!

Their coffee us great and you can fill your coffee bag yourself. The staff are friendly and helpful. I just love their coffee

One of the best coffees in Toronto! You can buy a coffee with delicious cookies and enjoy it, or you could buy coffee bean and ask for proper grinding to enjoy a wonderful coffee at home. The cookies with pistachio and the marzipan cookies are great, love it. Strongly recommended.

Update: After corresponding over email, it seems that the barista did not intend to be rude. I really appreciate the follow up from the barista, he was very kind and professional. --- The male barista with the long beard was sassy toward my wife today afternoon for no good reason. Pretty disappointed because I love going to this place. The other baristas are great.

10/10 I no longer live in Toronto so I'm really happy that I can get beans from this place. If you've ever been there it's really cool to try single origin beans and try to figure out your favourite type of coffee. Can't do that at Timmies or Starbucks. When you narrow it down well then you kind of know what coffee you like. I like Mexican beans and wish I could get the Cuban Surano on the website. But damn I love the Mexican Chiapas. Perfect!

Hidden gem in the lower level of St. Lawrence market. Their Americano is inexpensive compared to other cafés and consistently delicious and hot. Baristas know what they are doing. Friendly service.

Located on the lower level of the St. Lawrence market, everyday gourmet offers a wide selection of coffees. The executive blend is one of my favourites but there are so many to choose from. They even stock Jamaican blue Mountain coffee at $85 a pound. Stop in for a cup of coffee (or Tea) You won’t be disappointed.

I've been shopping for my coffee here for years. Amazingly consistent great tasting coffee from a number of great regions. The staff have always been wonderful and helpful. And now with online ordering, I still enjoy a taste of the market each and every morning. You will never want to buy a store brand of coffee again!
