The only reason for my 2 star is the service post the sample collection. Your employee who collected the sample was excellent and it was evident that she properly followed a standard operating procedure. She was also very patient with me when I was agitated by the statement that the results will take 4 hours. Shoppers offers the same test for $40 nit $99, and you get your results in 15 minutes before you leave the location. You should look at your process and see why yours is higher cost and slower delivery. I did get my results from you in 3 hours, my issue is still the same, you should be able to get it out in 15 to 30 minutes.

The downtown clinic location is a little hard to find (you need to wait for someone else to swipe the elevator for you). But the service itself was great! Nurse Rania gives you lots of helpful information and advice. The shots seemed pricey but I don’t know the going rates for this type of thing.

Truly a gem in a sea of travel clinics looking to gouge for as much as they can. This quaint clinic is so friendly, informative, efficient, and most of all transparent in their process and pricing. I'm so thankful to find this clinic after such horrible experiences elsewhere. Go here, you won't regret it!

I went to this clinic for a rapid antigen test for US travel the next day. It was smoother than I could have imagined and people were very calm and efficient. There was a distressed man going to Germany the next day who was quite rude but they all took it in stride and were nothing short of gracious and informative, offering him alternatives and nearby clinics that could get him his test results faster. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly my results were sent to my email. Very grateful for their service.

Not worth the price. I went in and had a very short (10-15 min, maybe?) conversation with the nurse, where most of the answers to my questions were - ask your doctor. My appointment was 2-230, I got there late (around 2:07?2:10?) but still finished around 2:20. Another nurse came into the room during my appointment and stuck around, listened to my medical history, etc. The travel clinic nurse was sick for my appointment, so she had a s tack of papers ready for me to take home and ready. She said she didn't want to say the things already written on the papers so she could conserve her energy. Would have loved to have gone over the pages together.

Price shop before going to a travel clinic. After paying $70 for a consultation, I compared the medication cost to competitors. The medication in some cases is 50% more expensive then competitors. Even compared to shoppers drug mart which is usually higher priced. They said that they are the only ones that post their prices, but that isn’t true. Do shop around before getting a consultation. I asked to pay for a prescription, but they refused. They also refused to price match competitors. Since they’re prices are that much higher I had to browse different clinics. I ended up going with a travel clinic has significantly lower medication cost and consultation fee. They were knowledgeable just unreasonable business practices. I only recommend here if you only want advice and not meditation.

The 2 female attendants were courteous and very efficient. The entire process took about 8 minutes. Also, the results came in about 1 hour later, much less than the published 3-4 hours. Thank you very much for your efficiency!!

Good overall experience. Quick, efficient and friendly. Results for an antigen test received within 1 hour. One thing is that the paperwork/forms could be shared in advance so you do not need to fill it out at the appointment.

This clinic is conveniently located for downtown residents, but it's worth noting that their prices are notably higher compared to other city clinics. My personal experience raised some concerns. During my visit, the nurse suggested several vaccines, including a costly Yellow Fever vaccine, which I paid for upfront. However, after payment and vaccine preparation, a checklist revealed that I was ineligible for the Yellow Fever vaccine. The nurse promised to discuss a refund with her supervisor, but I later received a call from the headquarters stating no refund would be issued. While the in-clinic experience was generally pleasant, the response from the headquarters was disappointing. They did not acknowledge the oversight and refused a refund for a service that was not provided. This interaction left me feeling that such issues might be a recurring problem not adequately addressed by their system. For potential clients, I recommend caution. Ensure you are eligible for any suggested services before making payment. Based on my experience, the clinic's ethical practices and customer service, especially at the managerial level, could be improved.

Fantastic experience at the Downtown Toronto Canadian Travel Clinic. I was seen by a very friendly and knowledgable nurse, who took time to fully understand my travel plans and health needs. She was prepared with an personalized information package based off the intake form I submitted when the appointment was booked, and helped me feel safe and confident in my options during my travels. I experienced very little wait before my appointment, and the waiting area was extremely comfortable with cozy seats and refreshments. Would highly recommend!

Excellent experience! The nurse was friendly and knowledgeable and explained all of the options without trying to upsell medicines not needed. The small clinic was also perfect for someone with anxiety!

Came here to travel from Ontario to Mexico with layover in Texas with American Airlines. Really fast test results (Antigen). Less than 12 hrs for results. Clean location. Efficient - right in the financial district core/downtown Toronto. PDF document cleared for travel.

Edison was fantastic. He provided thorough explanations and shared so many tips on how to stay safe and healthy whilst travelling overseas, and was patient and caring when I was nervous.

We paid for and were given a vaccination we did not need due to an oversight by the Nurse. We have asked for the cost to be reimbursed but have not yet heard from anyone at the company. The vaccine we were given was one that we already had that was still active so there was no need for it.

The service provided was very detailed and informative, including receiving all the doses and vaccinations, and travel safety information needed so that I could be ready for my trip. I was recommended by own family doctor to go to a clinic that specializes in travel medicine. I got very good information, more than what my husband and friends got from their own family doctors. Highly recommend going to Canadian Travel Clinics, and the cost for consultation and the vaccinations is very reasonably priced.

Great fast service, so glad I found them online. They were extremely professional and kept me up to date of any changes of location and reminding me of my appointment time many times via text and email. Got my results well in time, which is a great relief when you are traveling.

The location was in an upscale shared work space so a bit hard to find your first time but a really nice location. The nurse had excellent listening skills and was very knowledge. I would recommend this business to get your travel shots.

We booked a PCR test for travel to the USA at the 140 Yonge location, which is a beautiful building. It felt like a boutique experience since it's really personalized. This was our first time getting tested, so I was nervous, but it was super easy and the practitioner was gentle with the swab. We got our results rapidly and when there was a tiny error on the form with the time of the test, I called them and they picked up immediately. Within 5 minutes they sent us an updated PCR result with the correct time. Definitely using this service again! Lovely.

Very flexible and accommodating. The atmosphere was welcoming and the nurse and I had a nice chat while waiting after the vaccine.

Amazing experience. In the future I’ll only come to this clinic for pcr travel testing. I arrived 15 minutes early to my appointment and I was taken in straight away and was out of the building before my appointment had even begun. Navpreet was quick and gentle with the test itself! I’d recommend this clinic over others in the city

Easily booked online and also very accommodating when I called in if they can take my brother at the same time! They follow up with text, emails and phone calls if anything else important. Thank you very much! Great location! Near many hotels so easy to walk to!

Results delayed. UPDATED: The correct email address was provided and verified on the day of the test. The results were processed at 6.44pm the next day and I did not get them until almost three hours later after having emailed again to enquire about them.

I thought that the service provided was top of class all the way around. Arrival to the testing was done by a very professional young lady who walked me through registration easily. At the PCR test, I was greeted and then the test was executed very professionally, thoroughly and effectively. This was really a first class operation from start to reporting of results. Thanks to the team for a great job!

This was an excellent setting for my wife and I to get required Covid testing before returning to the US. The test site was a ten minute walk from our hotel. It was easy online to book our appointments. The clinician who administered our tests was friendly, skillful and efficient. There was no wait. We knew we were negative for covid within minutes. The test report was posted on-line within 3 hour as per plan for presentation at our air Canada gate. My wife and I am both medical doctors. We can definitely positively recommend this site.

The test went well and the results were sent the following day, but for some reason I did not receive the promised Japanese certificate necessary for entry into Japan. However, upon contact CTC, they promptly forwarded it to me.

I had a quick one day trip to Toronto from the US and needed a Covid test. The nurse was very helpful and friendly and the rest of the staff made it a great experience. And we hit the deadline! I’d highly recommend this clinic

I was told that I would have the results of my antigen test in 3 hours. When I I had no result after 4.5 hours, I was told I'd have the results "in a while". When I pressed for more specific information, because I needed the results before I could fly to the US the following day, I was just told again that the results would come "in a while". As it was mid-afternoon on Friday, I then had to spend several hours figuring out my options and whether I'd be able to get to airport early enough to do a test. Finally after about 7 hours, my antigen test results arrived. The experience was a total waste of my time and energy, and I know it was unnecessary, because my travelling companions got their results within about 20 minutes!

  • 4/5 John W. 2 years ago on Google
Staff was very accommodating as we came early before lunch and wanted to switch from our late afternoon appointment, even though they said our rapid antigen test results would take 3-4 hours it was emailed to us within 30 minutes

Horrible to deal with because there is no one to deal with. We waited an hour and a half on zoom and they never showed up to monitor the test. No one answers their customer service line, reply emails aren't monitored, and their customer contact link on the website is broken. What more is there to say. I'd avoid them like the plague they claim to be testing for! I'd give them zero stars if we could.

it was an excellent experience and very convenient. I arrived at the clinic early and I was immediately accommodated. very professional and price wise it was much cheaper than other private clinics and labs. Results were very quick fully government certified and delivered by email.

Great experience, was very thorough about what Vaccines I needed and didn't try to up sell, you. Was polite and walked you through everything without feeling pressured. Highly recommend

Rating two stars because my PCR test specimen was misplaced (?) and it's going to take almost 1 full month to get my refund. I got a call about 28 hrs after my test telling me my specimen never arrived at the lab. This caused serious delays for my travel plans as it was too late for me to book another PCR test in time for my original departure date. That said, the health care practitioner who took my sample was nice and the downtown Toronto office was in a nice space. I am however NOT please that I paid almost $160 for a service that was not completed and will not get a refund for another month!

The nurse who carried out SWAB Test was professional, however, I found that the time SWAB taken in the certificate and in the test result was not tallied. After highlighting this discrepancy, the rectification to this matter was done very quickly. So, overall experience was o.k..

This is hands down the best experience I’ve had at a travel clinic. To be fair it’s also the only experience I’ve had, but still 10/10. The nurse was knowledgeable, professional, and shared information in a way that made the whole process a dream. Even the 15 minute waiting period after the shots was helpful, with advice on how to stay safe travelling. Regardless of where you are in the city, this clinic is the one to go to!
