I'm absolutely blown away by the experience we've had at Felix Swim School! The swim program is nothing short of excellent, and the results have been truly remarkable. Within just one day, my kids learned more than they ever did in their previous swim school. The personalized approach, remembering every child's name, creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Not to mention, Felix's staff are always attentive and responsive to parents' concerns. We couldn't be happier with our decision to join Felix Swim School!

My 4 year old nearly drowned in the pool during play time at the end of the lesson as he was going after a ball that floated into the deep end. None of the instructors were paying any attention as he lost his grip on the ball and went under water. If it wasn't for me banging on the window to get their attention he definitely would have drowned. He was underwater just mere feet from the instructors who were talking to each other and completely oblivious to what was happening. The head instructor apologized and said it wouldn't happen again, but it felt half-hearted. I did not feel that there was an appropriate follow-up after such a serious incident. The only reason why it wasn't more serious was because I was watching and got them to pull him out. Thankfully it seems like my kid is ok but I am not at all happy with this place. Doesn't seem like they care about safety.

My children have never been happier to attend swimming lessons. Felix's team is very professional along the whole process starting with registration, throughout. Classes are well organized and children progressed amazingly. The facility is diligently managed and maintained. I am highly recommending Felix's Swim School.

I am terribly upset with this swimming place for a variety of reasons - first, despite spending $$$, I still do not know how to swim, the instructors are perfect at swimming but I am certain that that does not compensate for their teaching capabilities. Also, mid journey, the instructors keep changing or even every session. Dissatisfaction at best. Each one has their own styles and it’s like restarting each time you come to class. There are many areas that one needs help in getting right to be able to get to a length of the pool or atleast thread and in no way, I got even through half the pool, the “idea” of coming back is very lucrative for the school but unfortunately not for my pockets. Super disappointed and now that I desperately need my swimming be in check, it pains me to think that I began my journey with Felix. Wish I had chosen a more dedicated school. Sorry guys, I write this review with a lot of pain to have made the wrong investment. Have a great journey, how you’ll can improve without feedback isn’t difficult to see, hence I share. I am terribly surprised despite having tried to reach out that I did not receive any response or email. Disappointing.

We have two children enrolled at Felix’s Swim School and have had them there for a couple of years. We have had a variety of instructors and both kids are with Laurissa. Taniya has been phenomenal with scheduling. She is very pleasant and professional and truly cares about our children s success. Kaziva is an excellent supervisor who is very aware of each child’s needs and routinely observes their progress. Felix is a very responsive leader who addresses our concerns whenever we have a question. Felix sets a high bar for his staff and to teach thinking outside the box

After moving to Vaughan from Markham, we decided to enroll our kids with Felix again at the Thornhill location. My kids have been with Felix in Markham for the past six years (since 3 years old) and really enjoy swimming. This is an activity the kids plan to pursue until their teenage years. Most instructors are good at the Yonge/407 location from what I can tell but they're really chatty with each other and sometimes the kids appear to be neglected. One of the supervisors has no authority and spends a lot of time on her phone, which apparently is for work (based on how often she checks her phone, she looks to be overwhelmed with a lot of work). There's one instructor in particular my kids got stuck with that has absolutely no interest in teaching them. For the first five classes (and some more later), he disappeared for about a third of the class in the beginning of every lesson without fail (not sure what he was doing but he just disappeared), was constantly talking/flirting with other instructors disrupting other classes, and ends at least five minutes early. When the instructor disappears and wastes time for about half the class, it's tough to get any continuity, and the kids don't learn anything because all they do is laps on their own without any proper guidance. He's very disrespectful as he knows the parents are there watching and does it anyway. I guess this is a minor point that gets missed by the supervisor because she's always looking down on her phone. We brought the issue up with the front desk, which fell on deaf ears and she wasn't very helpful. The disappearing instructor was much better during our make up classes on a different day; likely because the supervisor on duty this day was never on his phone and actually gave tips to students while walking around the pool. He even covered for the instructor in question and directly taught the instructor's students while he disappeared 5 minutes before class ended. We really liked the Markham location but like all multi-location businesses, I guess it all depends on the location and how much the staff there cares about teaching their kids. I am not sure if my expectations were too high coming from a location where every single person in the pool area and outside the pool area seemed to actually care about teaching their kids. A disappointing and frustrating experience all around from the front desk, all the way to the supervisor. It's a one and done for us here at the Yonge/407 location and we're going to ignore this place like the plague. We were so annoyed we seriously thought about just walking away before the season ended to avoid getting even more frustrated with this place.

To the owner, You were great a year ago. My children enjoyed the lessons very much. Lately, they had low interest in continuing at your Thornhill location. Your instructors and front desk does not match the high price point you charge. Our children have been swimming aimlessly these past weeks. No improvements, little teaching and frustrating experience overall. We can deal with poor customer service, as long as the kids are enjoying and learning. But who enjoys bad service and bad quality of work? We hope you’re able to improve. It’s a great location.

One of the best swimming school! My kid has been consistently with them for one year and half, starting from the very beginner to advance. They are supervising their instructors and listen to the clients carefully. Larysa is definitely is one of the asset!

YORK POLICE INVESTIGATING Parents be aware before signing up in this place. If you would like your child to be exposed to completely strangers while changing in their absolutely open to public with no door and oh Boys and girls mix and views of THEIR FAMILIES or while showering in their 2 only working shower with almost see-through dividers , If you like them to get sick due to lack of cleanliness and sanitary facilities. If you are looking for a rude unprofessional staff specially one them name Max then this is the place for you. There is an on going investigation with York Reagan Police on this location you can call them and ask. For them a total stranger (not member walking in to the change room with phone in hands while kids Boys/Girls all changing in one somewhat big room is TOTALLY OKAY. AND IF YOU ARE OKAY THEN JOIN THEM AND DONT WASTE TIME.

I’m so happy with the way my kids progress. I have had my 5-year-old and 10-year-old swimming at Felix for about two years. My younger daughter had never been so excited to swim before. They have a very strong team and a clean facility. They offer a low ratio of students to instructors so I don’t have to worry about my kid's safety. Highly recommended!

Simply put, this is an outstanding program! I cannot believe how incredibly confident my daughter has become in water in such a short period time. The instructors are absolutely professional and amazing at what they do. I wholeheartedly endorse this program!

Great instructors! A bit pricy but it’s worth it! Kids learn the breathing first, then so on, lots of places teaches you to move first, and parents are so happy that kids can swim, but the breathing is the most essential part! So I highly tell you to send the kids there! One of my kids finished level 10, and I’m still going for my other kid

We have had a great experience so far. Instructors are encouraging and really put in effort. My son use to be scared of the water and I really appreciated their gentle approach. He really looks forward to his classes! Thanks to all the instructors and staff.

Nik Aizenberg and Antonio Carlucci are very professional at teaching swimming at any level. My swimming skills has been improved after taking the lessons with them. I recommend them to anyone who wants to learn/improve swimming deeply. Also, I would like to thank you Kiana.

Signed my daughter up for classes in March break to keep busy. The instructors were amazing! The class sizes are small and manageable. The kids get individual attention which means they learn a lot faster than at other larger classes. It is a little more pricey but definitely worth it! Have many locations and they are quick to respond to inquiries. Look forward to going for more classes!

Signed up my two kids for August, two classes per week. Each week they had different teachers who taught my kids differently that made them unsure which way/method to follow. My two kids with different levels were placed in the same group. My older kid spent quite a lot of time practicing same basic skills as his younger brother that contributed to his slow progress. I am not sure if we are coming back for another sessions.

If you want to waste your money and time, Felix’s Swim in Thornhill is the best choice. Each session, one instructor always they have an excuse, no lesson plan, disorganized... Never, never do I recommend it here.

The term, you get what you pay for definitely applies here. Yes it does cost more $$$ for lessons compared with the public ones, but they learn how to swim bc the ratio is max 3:1 or sometimes 2:1 if students are away. In my opinion its worth the price.

My kids have started swimming lessons (1:3 ratio) after 3 years of not swimming due to COVID. They are very happy with the lessons and gained their confidence back again. The teacher is very gentle with them and walks them through the each steps with patience and detailed instructions. My kids are so excited to come to class every week. It feels great when I see their progress through the gallery every single time. Highly recommended!

My children have swam here for several years. The school is very organized and clearly hire well trained and caring swimming teachers. My 3 daughters have learned to swim well and are very confident when swimming. They have been able to successfully pass all their levels because of the diligence and care of each of their teachers.
