Ordered on Too Good To Go! The injera was nicely fermented and so tasty. Everything was delicious, and well seasoned! The lady who gave me my food was so friendly and nice. Would recommend to others.

Came here for their traditional coffee (with Jabena) and it was delicious! Also, it’s very humbly priced! $1.50 for the coffee. The service was very friendly. Will be back to try their vegetarian and vegan options soon!

Ethio Eri was one of the best cuisines I’ve had in a while!! Very authentic home made dishes that made me feel at home. The ladies were very lovely, kind and generous. They made us feel like we could come back and feel part of the family. This is a must try if you’re in downtown Toronto you will definitely leave wanting more!!!! I can’t wait to come back!!

The lady is super friendly! For me who rarely tries Ethiopian cuisine, I had some difficulties finding the sweet spot between the intense sourness of injera and other flavours. Nonetheless I like the spongy texture and everything else. I definetely don't mind to come back again and try something else.

We were unable to try the food because the stall was not open. The Kensington neighborhood is on many tourist sites as something not to be missed in Toronto. We found this restaurant, checked the website to make sure they were open, drove in busy weekend Toronto traffic, paid to park only to show up and find the stall closed. Another vendor said that the stalls set their own hours. I understand that places may have varying hours, but if that is the case they should not post hours on a website. It would be helpful if they posted daily on social media the hours they are going to be open.

First time in Ethio and Eri Cafe and YOU have to go! It’s the cutest little spot with amazing food. The Vegan dish is to die for. IT WAS SO SO DELICIOUS!!! Everything we tasted melted in our mouths. Absolutely the best meal we had while in Toronto.The price is very reasonable. The owner goes extra mile to satisfy her Clients. Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in Toronto.

This is the place to be!! Ethio Eri cafe has the most amazing Ethiopian cuisine! Everything is perfect! The food is immaculate the flavors burst in your mouth, the people are amazing! I had the pleasure of meeting the owner and her sister, such lovely people!! This place feels like home. Their location is perfect, right in the downtown core. They take careful percussion and visibly follow all COVID safety measures. Their menu is very inclusive and offers vegan, vegetarian and meat options! They offer breakfast and lunch/dinner items so it’s perfect for anytime! I definitely recommend this spot!! It gets a 10/10 from me :)

The food was wonderful! Had a great experience as a vegan, and my friend accompanying me had a very good spiced iced black tea. Would highly recommend! The owner was so so sweet, and even called us back when every other ethiopian restaurant was closed and my friend and I were calling around. Super super lovely! I had a wonderful time and I will absolutely come back.

My family and I were craving Ethiopian food and Ethio Eri cafe did not disappoint! From the customer service to the food everything was outstanding. The owners were so nice & accommodating in explaining the menu to us and the different types of dishes. We ended up getting a veggie & meat platter. It tasted AMAZINGGG, it was so flavourful and not too spicy for us! I will definitely be going back there for more of their food, such a wonderful experience!

AMAZINGGG FOOD AND AMAZING STAFF!! Ethiopian food is my favourite dishes and I’m so glad I tried Ethio Eri because the food and the experience was amazing!! The tibs was so good and the firfir was delicious!! They are generous with the amount of food and the pricing is extremely fair!! They’re a must try I seriously can’t get over the delicious food and amazing staff!! They’re both so nice and caring!!

Very nice place, testy food, excellent customer service. I ordered food for my son's baptism party and it was so nice everybody loved it, they put extra amount on each food we eat it almost for a week. Thank you guys.
