One of the best beach to enjoy during a sunny day. I have been there for two birthday parties with my partner. Highly recommend to everyone to visit this place and enjoy beer and food at beach facing restaurants there

The sand beach is short, mostly mud. But the ocean view is great.

Stunning, beautiful, and pretty beach; amazing sunrises and sunsets; very clean facilities and plenty of space to have a family picnic, or to safely kick the footy; lots of car parking and easy 5 minute walk to the Torquay town centre; to have some yummy food, a coffee or to grab some fish and chips, to have on the beach.

Had a great day out with the fam at Torquay Beach. Lots of people out enjoying the weather on long weekend. Very nice beach, lots of eating venues near by. Also there are public male/female toilet block and an outdoor rinse shower area. Parked off main road and had to walk a short bit. Very easy. Overall very nice place and beautiful part of Victoria. Can't wait to visit again soon!

Love the scenic views, and specially the humungous play area for kids. Take your sandwiches with you and make a day out of it. Nevertheless, there are so many places, around to enjoy and revel in food. From ice-cream to fish and chips to drinks, they have it all.

A very great beach overall. Has some rough surf during low tide but not particularly too hard to deal with if you're a decent swimmer. Parking is okay here as well, the beach is easy to access.

Wish there wasn't sea weed in it this time there was its Snell's and isn't pleasant when the seas weed comes on the beach plus they have ruined the beach side by placing a closer up. Not to go to the left side of Torquay.. Shane it my favourite beach.. In Victoria.. Remove the road closer council and you'll bring more visitors in to Torquay..

Small little beach along the Great Ocean Rd. Lands end side you can see. Torquay is a place I come from in the UK in Australia it is the surfing capital of Australia. Home to where Australia's Surfing brands Riptide and Billabong first started out and got their name out there.

Absolutely stunning watching the morning sun rise over the beach. If you're not a fan of dogs it may upset you because it was puppy paradise with no less than 30 furry friends hanging out with their owners, playing in the water, on the beach, off lead/on lead and dear little Peggy who had accidentally stole someone's ball according to her Mum. It was just magical to see happy floofs everywhere. After the early morning rush came the families and sunbathers. A perfect set of tiny shore breakers to help the little ones learn the ropes, in September I would highly recommend a wetsuit, at 14 degrees little people get a touch chilly. Totally 1 of my top 5 reasons for coming back in November but this time with our own dog too!

Beautiful. I liked the fact there were bins and dog poo bags available. Shame some people didn't use them. This is a gorgeous beach and a great place for a long walk in lovely scenery.

We had a great day here. The beach access was not far from the road and there's a long stretch of beach u can choose from and pop a tent down and enjoy. Great for families, dogs πŸ• absolutely anyone and the water at low tide is great for kids to paddle in.

Beautiful beach, always clean. Lots of people out walking with their dogs off leash so just be aware, there is public toilets, and plenty of beach space. There is a boat launch place and cafe on beach front for your coffee

A very lovely beach and superb view of the ocean. High swell can be seen regularly. The beach features an arc view of the ocean and it’s sloping upwards towards a walkway. There is a toilet at the middle of the walkway and another one with shower facilities at the end near the Torquay surf rescue club. Unique to that is the hot water shower available and it’s free. There’s ample parking near the beach and also a nice cafe with seating at the car park. Imagine parking your car or bike there and grab a cuppa and some hot pies and sit at the bench that overlooks the ocean. What a way to enjoy a meal by the ocean. The beach links to another trail that runs all the way to Bells beach and beyond if you have the stamina and time to have a go. There are walkers and runners who frequent that trail. Connected to the other end is the path that leads to the Torquay iconic cafe front. Lots of nice cozy cafe and restaurants there. Love it
