Visited here for lunch, ordered the Miso and Honey glazed Atlantic Salmon, huge slab of gorgeous fish, tender, beautifully cooked with asparagus & rocket 😁👍 Bombie Pizza had a nice dark colour, porterhouse on the dish, was amazing, took it to the next level!! Chunky fries, were well cooked, with nice crunch, and well seasoned, Aioli was light and tasty! 😋😋😋 Will definitely be back 👍👍

If you are looking for a gorgeous and intimate venue for your next function, look no further. The private room at Bomboras is absolutely gorgeous with ocean views and a warm/welcoming atmosphere. The food absolutely blew us away. Delicious and plentiful- all of our guests raved about it all day! And the staff, wow! So friendly, accommodating, and just wonderful. So keen to help in any way and make our event a success. I don’t often write reviews, but just had to in this instance. Book a function at Bomboras- you’ll love it!!

Perfect spot to watch sunrise and have breakfast. Ordered eggs benny and the veggie bombie breaky. Super accommodating for vegans. Was chuffed that they happily swapped out the eggs and cheese in the latter without any extra charge :) Only downside was the portions were on the small side.

We ordered the seafood platter yesterday for lunch. Salmon, mussels & scampi were all over cooked. Mussels’ beards wasn’t even removed on any on them. Can’t even eat 1/2 of the food. No apologies and when we said mussels were rubbery, no comment and just walk away. Won’t be coming back

Friendly staff and great service. We had the seafood linguine and really enjoyed it. Good portion of seafood, the pasta was done well and the sauce went very well. We also had the pork belly which was great. We were a bit disappointed with the mussels with Thai style soup. It was a bit salty and I imagined it to taste like Tom Yum but it didn't taste like that at all. It was salty and bland. For dessert we had the lemon cheese cake and that was great too.

Delicious food and nice service! Hummus sauce was helping the harmoney between bread, poached egg, spinach and bacon!

We ate at the Bomboras restaurant twice while we were at Torquay. The food was fantastic, the oysters were great & the marinara & ribs I had were both fantastic meals. My wife enjoyed her pizza & pasta too. There is online booking where you can request indoor, outdoor undercover or just outdoor seating. The staff were compliant with wearing masks & checking covid vaccination certificates. Nice selection of cocktails. During the peak summer they also set up a pop up bar which was above the salty dog cafe. It was a great atmosphere again with a great cocktail menu. They also had a pop up beach kiosk with drinks & snacks. A great local establishment!

Fantastic lunch spot - the grilled oysters were appropriately spicy, the kids’ nuggs & chips generous & the satay salad (special) - spot on. Everyone loved their food & wine at our party & the servers were super friendly & helpful. Absolutely worth a stop along the Great Ocean Road!

Good feed, reasonable prices and clean! Staff were fantastic and friendly, checked our certificate with no fuss, got a table straight away. Had the mussels and burger, both servings left us full, plenty of tap beer variety and other drinks…nice to sit in front of the ocean and enjoy a meal.

Great place. Food, drinks, ambience was all 10/10. Staff were super friendly. Gluten free dietary requirements were not a problem for them. View of the water and moon was awesome.

We came for dinner on a Sunday night. What a wonderful experience. Had salmon tartare and oysters for starters snd both had linguine marinara for main. Food was so good, service warm and friendly. Could not recommend highly enough. Thank you!

I had a big breakfast here the other day and it was nice, coffee mugs were larger than average, poached eggs cooked perfectly and plenty of bacon. Only 1 slice of sourdough but it was a large piece.

Salmon tartar was very good, highly recommended. Seafood linguine was quite good, the sauce was very nice and the quantity of food and toppings was great. The stake was really not good at all. I asked for rare and it came more like well done. Very chewy. The chips were just not good and the side salad is just a couple of lettuce leaves with no dressing or toppings, more for decoration than for eating.

Great food, large serves, great staff. Overall a fantastic lunch had buy all. Thai salad and soul bowls were great.

My husband and I had breakfast here a while ago, and really enjoyed it ! Lovely coffee and food, with a great view. So we returned for lunch, and wasn't disappointed at all ! Friendly staff, delicious food (BBQ ribs ! Yum!) And lovely atmosphere 😊 100% will be coming back ! Thank you !

Superb cafe with great decor, atmosphere and service along with lovely food options at reasonable prices. We had breakfast here but if staying longer would have definitely tried other meals. Highly recommend

Where do I start. We came here the other weekend twice. The first time on Saturday for lunch. We waited for a while by the sign on the grass that said "Please wait to be seated", multiple staff ignored us until we actually had to call someone to seat us. The table service was average, took a while for someone to take our order and drinks came out far apart, but the food was good. The next morning we came here for breakfast as it was the only place without a line. We went inside this time to ask for a seat, and got seated by the window. View was great but all downhill from there. This was the worst dining experience I've ever had. We were left with menus for 20minutes. The people seated behind us 10mins after us got their order taken first and we had to call two separate people over to take ours because the first seemed to have forgotten. Then we watched as everyone seated at the same time or after us got their food and finished eating. We waited patiently for another 30-40minutes and called a waitress over to check what was happening, after 5 minutes she came back and unfortunately seemed to be lying to us and say that our meal was next to be made and it would be 5minutes. We opted to leave as we we hungry, angry and very disgusted at the service. There was no remorse or apology from the girl or anyone else for the wait or the bad experience. Another customer noticed and said to us they would not have been so patient and would be very angry if they were us. We had at least 4/5 different ladies 'serve' us and there is a clear lack of customer service. To add onto that by the time we left - with no food, every other restaurant had stopped serving breakfast. Would not recommend this place at all. And will never go back.

Visiting from SLC, Utah in the states and have been in Australia for a week, I think we found the best breaky and coffee!! The views, atmosphere and service are great.

Gorgeous spot along Bells Beach with a gorgeous menu to match, highly recommend the 'little' seafood plates they're sizeable and tasty, we had one each for lunch and really enjoyed it and will pay Bomboras a visit next time we're along this part of the coast 😍

This was our second time dining at Bomboras. My partner and I sat inside and shared the steak and the gnocchi with the squid entree. All was absolutely delicious. I ordered a cocktail and my partner some beers. Would highly recommend for a date night. Came last week with our children and was very kid friendly - sat outside in the sunshine and they could dance to the music overlooking the water.

Rarely do I ever find a restaurant that is hard to fault but this place was everything I hoped it would be. Fast service, beautiful interior decor, food worthy of the price charged. You also get a very decent size dish. The only thing I might pick up on is the dirty menus. The servers might need to be mindful of which ones they put on the tables. I honestly can't wait to come back here and try the seafood platter because it looked amazing.

Definitely a favourite place in Torquay, this fine establishment sets a high standard. Situated on the Esplanade makes parking easy and is obviously a prime location for the coastal destination. Service staff were professional and well presented. The barista stood out with consummate ease as he happily went about his trade and set a comfortable tone. The coffees that were delivered were strong and flavoursome with a slightly nutty finish. Only miss here was that the milk was not silky and produced a very bubbled froth. We both ordered the smashed avo which was brought out in quick time. The meal was balanced, delicious and satisfying. The house mate Beetroot relish was outstanding! Did note that the poached eggs were slightly over cooked. And, I’d recommend a thicker slice of sourdough so it retains structure.

Inadvertently ended up for breakfast here and so happy I did. The breakfast wrap, big breaky and coffee could not be faulted. The service was also friendly which made for a very enjoyable experience. I would return.

Interiors are serene and calm. Food was fantastic. Tried a pizza n gin which was great. Would visit next time.
