My visit to Concentra on Monday, October 23, 2023 was for a preliminary physical exam. The front office staff, medical assistants were very nice, the office was run smoothly. The shining star who stood out to me was the Nurse Practitioner, I believe her name was Melody (Sorry if I got her name spelled wrong). The NP was easy going, sweet and very knowledgeable, she let me know at the end of the exam she saw no reason to not recommend the City hire me for the job. Most NP’s don’t take the time to give you the results and I appreciated her kindness, she is a definite asset to the Concentra Team. Kudos to Concentra for hiring such a compassionate Nurse Practitioner. By the way, since the office doesn’t take appointments, I recommend going early in the mornings Monday - Friday when they have 2 doctors on staff, the wait was long…I was in and out in 90 minutes.

I’ve been going to Concentra since Feb. 2023, and from day 1, Teresa at the front desk is alway very professional and has always been so helpful and kind, and goes above and beyond, she is always multi and triple tasking at the front desk, with ease, gracefulness and confidence and patience!!! I’d give her 10 stars if I was able to, and Luis in PT is amazing, doing an awesome job, just like Teresa, you have 2 gems there, Concentra!

I went in for a drug test and eye exam for a new job. The ladies at the front desk were very nice and friendly. My issue is with the employee who took my eye exam. She was very rude and unprofessional. The eye chart was a good 15 feet away and I told them I had problems with my vision as I am having cataracts surgery in my eyes. She just said we have to take this test and was very rude and kept talking over me. A few days later I get a call from the lab saying they were going to fail me and that I was legally blind. I was shocked and not happy I was going to lose my job I just got. I ended up going to Americas Best & had a official eye exam. Not only was I NOT legally blind I didn’t even meet the GUIDELINES of being legally blind. I called the lab back & they said to send them a copy of the letter stating I was not legally blind. They ended up clearing me and I did not lose the job. I highly advise you train your employees cause clearly this woman screwed up my eye test & didn’t know what she was doing. It almost cost me a job. She is someone who should NOT be doing eye exams.

Took over 3 hours waiting in the lobby. Only to get poor patient care. The medical assistant didn’t really explain anything and just rushed all services. Waited another hour in a patient room for a physician to do a physical and he checked inside of my mouth and asked if I had any concerns or physical complications. He also smelled like cigarettes. He didn’t do a proper physical that’s for sure and wrote me off after 2 mins. Not professional at all.

The receptionist was very stern and cold. I refrained from commenting on it to her because I didn’t want my visit to be lengthened. She never smiled and was very short with me. When I asked her questions, it seemed as if I was bothering her. I asked a question about the form I was filling out and she gave a snide answer referring to a direction on the document. I read it back to her and she realized her interpretation was wrong. She still didn’t acknowledge her mistake or change her disposition. The nurse or attendant in the lab was great. She was warm and pleasant. We shared small talk, a few jokes and she was efficient in her duties. I would rate her a 5 star! I feel she saved the overall impression of the visit. There is a need for people training for the receptionist up front. I got the feeling of dealing with a DMV clerk with her.

Came in for a physical for work and both ladies at the front desk was rude didn't say good morning or nothing the chubby clerk seam to have a attitude problem and after seeing the reviews and i see that the clerks are known for not having customers service professionalism. Both clerks should be replaced or fired they will make you hate coming here. Also been here since 9:39 and at least 4 people went before me that check in after me.. I ask the front office what's going on why people are going before me there response is that they are her fo a different department which is understandable but I didn't ask you what what department go 1st I ask you why I wasn't called if I came and check in before them..The doctor in the back i can barely understand and also I really felt uncomfortable cause for some reason when everyone communicate they talking in Spanish like purpose. Like this is America talking in American native language so we can understand what you saying I will highly suggest you go to your primary doctor for w.e you need. A drug test , physical, etc not Concentra.

The was a very small wait time. I came to have a physical and TB screening for my job. I was done within 45 minutes. This included, completing paperwork, wait time, and then the doctor seeing me. Everyone from the front counter to the doctor was nice and respectful. One lady in the front counter even congratulated me on my new job.

2 stars is being generous. I.understand this is walk in clinic, but they also schedule appointments. If I walk in, I expect to wait but when I have a scheduled appointment time, I expect to be seen on or near that designated time. Not over an hour later and then to sit in the room for another 20 plus minutes beforethe doctor comes in. I waited longer to get in with a scheduled time than when I just walked in. That is not acceptable. I am at the clinic for the sole purpose of fixing the problem. I was speechless when asked, by the doctor, "what kind of meds are you wanting?" I said look, I'm not some welfare case, I was sent here by my company on Workman's Comp, I'm not here to self medicate, but to get healed. I actually want to get back to work. The clinic is a joke unless you want meds. However, I give the physical therapy section 5 stars. They are amazing and actually treat you with respect. They are kind and seriously concerned with recovery Pick another urgent care if you want to get better. Pick this one if you want medications, of your choice.
