We arrived with so much illusion to eat When we ordered the person who took the order that day I did not say hello, she looked upset and in a hurry to serve the next customers. The food was raw and burned, the worst salchipapa we ever ate, the bananas burned but raw inside. The chicken was for my 5 year old son and the way of serving it did not allow us to touch the plate without throwing some of it. The shrimp dish was so salty and full of oil it was not pleasant to eat and to finish the huancaina potato was hard we paid more than $ 120 for food that we did not enjoy😔😪

My dad randomly asked if I wanted to go for a drive. He’s been raving about this place since he retired…almost 10 years ago. I was skeptical at first, but the minute the aguadito hit my mouth…game over. I don’t have much drama to add to this review. I don’t think there is one bad thing to order in this joint. I got the picante de carne. Just the right heat. Meat was juicy. And I left stuffed. I would have eaten 10 more plates of that if I could. They saltado de pollo and saltado de lomo are both good too!

El Pollo Inka has the best food. This place has been a South Bay staple for many many years. The food is so good. It doesn’t really matter what you order because everything tastes delicious. I love the rotisserie chicken lunch special and the cau cau de camerones. I put green sauce on everything. The green sauce is addicting! It’s a great place for families, kids, adults. Everyone will find something they like.

Food is delicious, a go to for Peruvian food. Ambience is nice, a lot of salsa music, which takes you back to the motherland, eating good food , reminding you of your mother's cooking ❤️ I know they have several locations. Ps. If you are looking for something new to drink instead of the old coke or tea, I recommend the passion fruit agua 🍹

I love El Pollo Inka and have always been to the other location. This is my first time visiting the Torrance location. I phoned in my order and was told it would take 15-20 minutes but our food was ready shortly after I check in with them. I really appreciate them not keeping me waiting there long. Luckily, the dining area wasn’t that busy yet. I like the container they used for take out, it sealed the sauce in so I can enjoy every bit of it and not contemplating whether to save the sauce from the bag that leaked out from the container or not😅. Their take out also included their bread which the I haven’t seen with the other location since COVID. The bread is also good with their green sauce. The staff was friendly, attentive, and professional. I request a few extra green sauce and I received the green sauce without with attitude coming from the restaurant. I appreciate that! Their green sauce goes well with everything; the bread, soup and of course, the main dish. Our go to dish is the Picante de Mariscos. The seafood was fresh and with generous amount of sauce that you could dip the bread in it too. The potato in the sauce was cooked perfectly. It’s firm enough to hold its shape but practically melts in your mouth. Overall, this was a great experience with this location. I will definitely come back if I am in the neighborhood again. Compliments to the management, chef and the staff.

This has been a good place to eat. I have been going to this place for years. I will start with the price, and I must say prices are pretty good being the times we live in, about 18.00 per dish. Now, in regards to flavor, I think they have lowered the standards, this time, I was there, My food was a bit bland , not much flavor as it used to have. I do still like the PV location better, this was the Torrance location, still you will not be disappointed with the food.

Have been going to this restaurant since I gained consciousness, but went recently to celebrate my older sister's graduation. The food was good as always, but they forgot my sister's food. I will say, we did have a relatively large group (8-10), so having someone's food NOT forgotten would be impressive. They got rid of the live music offered here due to the pandemic, but that was always a family favorite. Unfortunate. The atmosphere was still nice nonetheless!

The Place was ok I feel like they upgraded the place but they not sure how to use it to their advantage you order up front and then was seated , the service was slow but one girl did her best , as for the food the plate I ordered was great but my sisters chicken was cold and they did take it in back and just reheated it that was kinda odd , as for recommending this place , I think I would like to give then another chance when I can , I'm sure they will get the service right 😁

Very good food and quite tasty. Their house soup is excellent. Their roasted chicken was quite good. They take your order before seating you, a little odd. Very casual restaurant.

The Peruvian community and their food are important parts of Los Angeles for me. El Pollo Inka is a special place to learn about Peruvian food. Know that the portions are large, and the food is great. The service was excellent. We had a wonderful time.

Super clean, friendly and fast service. Food is always delicious and fresh too. Plenty of parking, but for some reason, it's always SUPER WINDY in their parking lot. So be aware of light things flying off your head orvout of your car -- like hats, documents, bags, etc. Prices have gone up too, like everything else, but they give you a lot of food. We always bring home left-overs.

I ordered the picante de pollo for pickup and I was given more than half a plate of rice with a giant potato inside to make up for the missing portion of food. My coworker ordered a similar plate and it was the normal portion. I called and they wouldn’t remake the food for an exchange. I was told to try to go through door dash for a refund. If I wanted a $20 plate of rice I would have ordered that. It’s embarrassing to lie and say I was given the “same portion as always” when anyone w eyes can see I was given mostly rice. This location has gone down hill next time I’ll believe the reviews.

I went to this restaurant because I worked there as a teen, and it’s near the hospital where my Mom is at. We ordered takeout and waited about 25-30 minutes for four orders. After questioning what the progress of our order was, it was finally ready. Little did I know, they forgot to include my drink, four side salads, and the dessert (Peruvian Bread Pudding). I called them when I got to the hospital to let them know what was forgotten and how I couldn’t pick it up today anymore since I was back at the hospital to watch my Mom (others watching her left as soon as I came in). I offered to come by tomorrow to pick up the remaining food. Instead of working with me, they refused to give me the rest of the food if I didn’t get it by today, and refused to try any other methods of compensation for their mistake. It’s hard to recommend this place to eat when you don’t get the food that you ordered!

This place has become a random almost fast food like restaurant. I went in at lunch placed my order prior to seating. The older lady at the counter was rude. I asked her a couple questions about the food she had no idea what i was asking. No at table service. My beverage was served in a disposible cup, no offer on the refills. Food was salty. I was the only person in there at noon on a Saturday. I will never come here again, used to be such a great place to eat.

Horrible service from front desk cashier, his name is Runny!!! We have guests over and ordered almost $150 worth food. Unfortunately, we got home and discovered one of dish was missing. I called the restaurant right away and Runny picked up the phone with bad attitude. He told me that they can’t refund me the money!!!! I need to take pictures to prove it and email to his manager. Otherwise I need to return restaurant tonight before 9:00 pm to pick up the missing dish! I told him we drove far and unable to come back tonight…..he said we won’t be able to do anything if you come back tomorrow!!!! We end up not eating our dinner and rushed back…..he handed me the dish without apologizing!!! Super disappointed about this unacceptable service we received tonight 😕

I had the worst experience in a Peruvian restaurant, Went to the Torrence location, the Lomo Saltado was salty and lack flavor, ordered anticuchos chicken & heart and it was disgusting no flavor whatsoever even the green aji looked and tasted awful. (How can you get that wrong) I got sick from going there, did not finish my meal (which is rare for me) my wife didn't touch the food. Been there so many times and NEVER had such a bad experience. I'm hoping it was an off night for the chef.. but for me NEVER again.
