One of the worst experience I ever had at Indian restaurant. Very bad food. Everything was so extra salty and sour. They don’t even acknowledge it. When we asked, they say it’s sour because we made it yogurt!! What kind of reply that is! Very bad service. Don’t waste your money

Wanted to try our local indian restaurant and wasn’t dissatisfied with the service and food here. We got Tandoori chicken, Butter Naan, Garlic Naan, Butter Chicken, Goat biriyani. 1st of all, customer service was excellent. They took really good care of us. Our server was good too. Tandoori chicken: could be better. The taste wasn’t authentic but it’s good. I’ll give it 5/10. Butter/Garlic Naan: we liked garlic naan more than butter naan. Both of them were good. I’ll give them 8.6/10 Butter chicken: didn’t give the authentic taste but it was good. The gravy was really good. We took the mild hot and we liked the taste. Though the portion didn’t match the price. 6.4/10 Goat biriyani: we loved the biriyani. The flavours were excellent. Every ingredient in that was well balanced. We took spicy and loved it. The meat was very tasty. Again the portion didn’t match the price. 9.2/10 We waited approximately 20 mins for the food. So will suggest to start with an appetisers before the main course.

A great Indian restaurant for some good Punjabi food. Makes the food the way you want with good service. Loved the food with affordable prices. Usually anything of one dish/plate can easily be enough for two people.

Is there an option to give (-)/(0) review? Ordered few items and honestly, out of everything.. water and tandoori roti was the best. 😅 Disappointment from India food on such a fantastic place (near hermosa) is sad. Not sure how the yelp and google ratings are 4stars of this place.

Their goat curry is very rich and they choose delicate and delicious cuts of it for the curry. Great flavor in many of the food there. Very quick service. They do their best to get you warm naan, cold water, and clean tables to get more food. Hope to see this place remains here.

I have been eating there since fall 2014. This is my favorite place to take guests. Lunch buffet is excellent. Dinner is a la carte. No one can tell me that every restaurant makes every main dish the best. Nature always has the bell shaped curve. Some dishes are best. Some are average, and some are below par. It all depends on what is chef’s speciality and what you order. I feel for people, who end up getting below par dish. Unfortunately, there is no substitute for reading the reviews and do prior research. No restaurent can afford to hire more than one top order chef, and Indian chefs are hard to find. One more info: I am a vegetarian. Thus, my review does not apply to non vegetarians. Good luck.

Ravi is so sweet and helpful. I am not sure if he is the owner or the manager, but he is just the kindest person. The food is excellent with a lot of variety and makes everyone happy. My daughter, who just turned 5, chose to have her birthday here, and we were all extremely satisfied.

Don't let the outside ( simple location at a basic hotel) fool you. This restaurant has been here for years, and the manager and chefs know their food well. Service is always very good and with good humor and attention. Tell tale sign of success-- always busy with banquets and solid take out orders business. The lunch buffet is a very good deal. Always plenty of vegetarian selections, plus tandoori chicken , lamb curry etc. Come check out the buffet, you'll be back for dinner with the loved ones soon!

Best Indian food, not only in South Bay, but SoCal! The daily lunch buffet from 11-3 is incredible and we’ll worth the price. Robby provides outstanding customer service! He goes above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied. Lamb Korma, Butter Chicken, Saag Panner with Garlic and Cheese Naan are our favorites. Put it this way, this place is so good, there have been several occasions I’ve been here 2-3 times per week. The flavors are so delicious that it’s hard to really enjoy other food after having this.

I usually refrain from putting up a bad review but I was really disappointed by the food here. We went for a Saturday buffet ($18) and the food was really not worth it. The dishes were so below average and quite opposite to authenticity really. The tandoori chicken was basically covered with food color instead of proper marination . The chicken tikka masala was like a dessert , sweet! Mutter paneer had paneer felt like eating rubber. Dal makhani was not even close to being justifiable to its name. The cauliflower was bland , no flavor at all. Desserts were a joke , the gulab jamun were put on a hot place but were served cold , the mango malai was pure sugar and kheer felt bit sour. Complete disappointment , I wish indian places could keep up the authenticity of the food. The only thing i liked was the mango lassi and goat curry.

Coming from the U.K. we’ve had more Indian meals than most that’s for sure and this place is great. It’s really really great Indian food, authentic, flavourful and the service is brilliant. People come from far to eat here and that says something. Absolutely worth visiting, the decor is wonderful and the price is very reasonable.

Best Indian buffet I've ever been to, and even better than the delicious food and many options available was the hospitable service. The staff was exceptionally friendly and very prompt with water refills and plate clearing. Loved the experience and will definitely be back

Best Indian restaurant in the South Bay! Tried so many and none have beat the food here. The food here is very authentic. This is my favorite restaurant. My wife and I come almost every weekend. And we invite friends and family to eat here.

Not the best but definitely a great choice for Indian food if you're in the South Bay. I came here for dinner and was please with the quality of service in addition to how fresh the food was. Really looking forward to how well the lunch buffet is at a later date.

I had been there today for my dinner. Reached the restaurant around 8.50 pm, the food was served at 9.40 pm, Yes a 50 min wait and that is the reason I reduced a star. Otherwise good was amazing, excellent service.

Reading the reviews online I thought this would be a good place for Indian food..Unfortunately the dining experience was bad.. me and my friends arrived and were immediately sat down, as we looked through the menu the server got to us and we got waters and a lassi… minutes later the server came and served us this cracker style appetizer for us with condiments.. a while passed and the server still didn’t get to our table and took a while to attend us, we ordered and waited which seems forever there wasn’t many people in the restaurant .. a table that came before us got food before us, we waited about 30 mins for food to come out, the server even argued with the cook which got very intense for a bit until finally I got my paneer pakora which was bland and no flavor. We finally got our food and it was one of the worst Malai Kofta I’ve had, way too salty in some green masala that didn’t even taste good.. the food was subpar and I don’t think I would even come back with how unprofessional, long wait and bad food. Too bad the only good thing was the server fighting for us trying to hurry up the chef with our food.

This is the best Indian cuisine in the entire South Bay,! The whole experience is made even better by our gracious host Robby, and his wonderful staff. Don’t miss out on the Chicken Tikka Masala,

We love Indian food. This place is ok to compare to other Indian places in Redondo Beach. We usually order chicken vindaloo, samosa, raita, garlic naan, etc. Raita and samosa are pretty good. I wish chicken vindaloo comes with rice and garlic naan to be more crispy.

Every time I visit Southern California I make sure to stop here for all you can eat. Food is amazing and the service is always on point. Hospitality feels like you're just in town visiting friends/family and I really like the music choice as it sets the atmosphere. The mango lassi is delicious as well and a good dessert option. Don't forget the mouth freshener they have (looks like seeds) when you're leaving. Ask for Ravi or Prince and you will be treated like family.

The food was so good, our server was good but it seemed to take a while for the entire meal. My goat Biryani was really good. I suggest it when you go. My paneer pikora was also delicious. My wife had lentil soup, she said it was delicious. Her Paneer masala was great. She said we will be back for sure. Thanks Bombay Tandoori, see you soon.
