Second time here , rooms are spacious and clean with partial sea view. Location is more than perfect , just across the beach, swimming pool clean, free parking available and many spaces but sometimes can be full. I recommend this hotel and I'll book again.

This hotel is a big hotel right next to the beautiful beach. The rooms are big with nice large bathroom and also little kitchen (fridge included which is great). Furniture is bit old but everything is clean and nice. Great thing is the balcony with the sea view, due to the great architecture design all the rooms have the sea view. Breakfast is 11€/person but the choice of food is great. There is lots of fresh fruit and fresh fruit juice included. The location is great right next to the beach and the pathway with many restaurants and shops. The car parking was quite full but we were able to find a place every time. The pool is nice and big, if you want sunbed there is a fee 3€/person. If you want a good place by the pool you have to come around 9:30 and wait till 10.

We have stayed previously at three of the big seafront hotels in the Bajondillo area but decided this time to see what the apartmentos Bajondillo were like after walking past them for many years. Although the rooms could perhaps have a more up to date look, the standard of cleanliness was excellent. The staff at reception were so much friendlier than in any of the hotels and the rates were more affordable. We had breakfast included in our rate and this was a self service buffet which had a very good range of hot and cold food. The food in the cafeteria and drinks in the bar were also very reasonable. We will definitely return.

We took advantage of the complementary shuttle bus service to get us from/ to the airport it was easy enough to do (the service is available if you have booked the room for a certain price). Upon arrival at the hotel it looks like it needs a lick of paint. Went inside and it is really traditional but nice and clean. Our room had really good views of the beach and the coast, it is advertised as a kitchenette but there was no kettle or toaster, only a hob and a fridge - so cooking in here would be an issue. Other than that the room was nice with a modern bathroom and a large bed. The staff seemed friendly and the hotel itself is very close to the beach and not too far from the town centre (just make sure you find the lift). The only criticism I have got is there was limited drink selection at the bar, I was kind of expecting them to have cocktails but that's not a real issue.

Great experience. Breakfast is not as good as 7 years ago (where it had lots of thing variety) but still good. There are many fresh fruit sweet tasty, coffee machine. We had our last day leave early can’t have breakfast in hotel, so they packed a big bag with sandwich , pastry apple orange juice and water! Great. The location is great, by the sea, not far from torremolinos town center. Room is spacious

Nostalgic. European holidays back in the 80s. Room might be a bit dated but bathroom is new. Location is bang on, ac working perfect, 600 rooms and reception operating it smooth! Impressive! You will enjoy it! Great value for money.

Super cozy, calm, relaxing hotel. No noisy Brits, rooms super clean. Great staff, both reception and housekeeping. One of the most pleasant hotels in my whole travelling experience. Been there twice and planning to come back again.

The hotel is nice, but old. Not modern at all. There was no soap for hands. There was only gel in the shower. The room is small, but has a balcony with a side view of the sea. Close to the sea. The beach is good. Breakfast was excellent.

Fab place, great location, staff very helpful, spotless, great pool, had 3 kids 10, 14 and 17 with us. We had a 1 bedroom sea view apt. Great big balcony. Living area had 2 single Murphy beds and main room had a king size and a single. We just moved the single out to living area so 3 kids could sleep together. Great wifi to

Well located hotel but needs a bit of revamping. The place is still back in the 80s. Though it is extremely clean. The swimming pool is quite small and the sunbeds are €3. It is also hard to get one as people put their towels on them before 8am. The rooms are equipped with a little kitchenette and have air-conditioning . The hotel is a crossroad away from the beach and very well located for restaurants and shops.

Myself and my daughter stayed here and could not fault it. We had a studio room and it was big, light and airy. Beds were very comfortable and the rooms were cleaned each day we were there. Towels were also changed each day too. The hotel is in a very good position and the beach opposite is perfect for days in the sun. The staff were all helpful and cheerful and we would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here the week before Easter, in a studio apartment, it was ideal for us as we cooked breakfast ourselves and ate lunch their. Rooms were cleaned daily to a very high standard. Whole area was spotless. Enjoyed our week here so much when we came home I booked to go again 28th of Sept. Beds, pillows were so comfortable. Location of the apartments was ideal.. Bajondillo you have guests for life already talking about going their in 2023 as well.

We went in November (off-season) so the price was reasonable and sea side rooms are clean with a nice view with clean and a big bathroom. The parking in the yard is free but if it is full you need to pay 12 euros per night to park on the -1 floor. The breakfast is nice at a good price (11 euros pp). About the location of the hotel, I liked that very much if you rent a car and you can go to Malaga center within a 15 minutes drive and also there is a great outlet (designer outlet) near the hotel (10 minutes drive)

Fantastic location, we had a one bedroom apartment which was lovely and spacious with a double size shower in a refurbished bathroom. Staff were lovely, and some great shows on every night. Spotless clean, will go back again.

Location is top notch, 5 minutes away from the centre and across the street from the beach. Staff is friendly. Cleanliness can be improved as well as the outdated room decor and kitchen items (way too basic). Recommended in lower season when you can score a good price.

Large Hotel / Apartments. Just spent 1 night here before flight out of Malaga. Professionally run set up. Room decent size with all that you would expect plus a small balcony. Modern bathroom , hot water. Comfortable chairs , table & ' fridge. 2 ring electric cooker & basic cooking utensils. Clientele mainly middle aged to older & therefore a fairly serene place to stay. Bar/ restaurant popular & well appointed. Service was generally good although our waiter was somewhat grumpy when I sent my Green Salad away as it contained Tuna & Eggs. It was , however , speedily rectified. No vegan options available. I know from previous experiemce that unless you go to a big city in Spain you are going to struggle to get a vegan meal but surely just 1 option would not hurt? The Hotel is well positioned very near the seafront & only a 15 minute taxi ride away from the airport.

Excellent value for money, helpful staff, everyday room cleaning, excellent breakfast, decent pool and in a great location, just off the beach 🏖 Buzzing place with loads of restaurants and supermarkets. Furnishings are a bit tired, but very clean and professionally run place. On site parking 🅿 for free. Will recommend. 👍

It's ok. €3 a day for sunbeds. Good a/c and good mattresses. Pool bar staff work hard. David and the bold guy are nonstop. You get what you pay for

This place has some pluses & some minuses. The pluses: Great location & most, if not all the rooms have a beautiful sea view. Air con in living room & bedroom. Free bus service to & from Malaga airport (although we couldn’t find it on our arrival) The Minuses: the whole place is dated dated needs a facelift. (We estimated in high season turnover from rooms only is €400k-€500k per week so not like they can’t afford it) No kettle, no toaster, no oven in kitchen. No cooking utensils 🤷🏻‍♂️ Pool is surrounded by grass which by the end of the season is mostly muck & is very crowded. If u arrive late (after 10am) trying to find a spot is a pain Sun beds are €3 per person per day which I’ve never come across before? Sun beds should be complimentary for guests Pool bar food service is slow & no where near enough tables & chairs for the amount of guests so you end up trying to eat on your €3 sunbed Overall an ok place but I don’t think we would stay again

Don’t be fooled by the very high rating of Bajondillo Apartments - it is definitely not for everyone! Other guests actually looks satisfied with this place and maybe they gave the good ratings, but it’s surely not what we expected for such a highly rated hotel (both here and on Booking.com). This is a full on tacky/kitsch tourist hotel for happy campers. It has an overcrowded pool area, elevators working overtime and rooms smelling like an old people’s home - in general it feels like something from the 80s that has not been renovated much since - besides the bathrooms which are okay. Pool area is noisy throughout the daytime due to kids and their parents - in the evening till late due to singers/dancers entertaining a small percentage of the guests. Kitchen is so small and under equipped that cooking even a very simple meal, seems like a challenge. Sadly we have been regretting our choice of hotel since we got here, daydreaming ourselves to the neighboring Melia hotel - should’ve paid the relatively small extra amount to go there. If you are hesitant about this place, choose another. Staff is friendly and helpful, and helped us change to a room that wasn’t overlooking the noisy pool area.

I had a 3 week stay here in September. For what I wanted, this was a wonderful choice. 3 weeks is a long time to stay in one place, so you get to really know what you like and what you don't. I had a one bedroom apartment. It was a corner unit oceanfront. The view was spectacular. A wonderful sunrise every morning. I thought the bed was very comfortable, the soundproofing was good (but earplugs are always a good idea). The AC was fantastic. I loved the spacious renovated bathroom. It included a large walk in shower. The kitchen took a while getting used to, but I enjoyed it. I bought a kettle. If I was here for a couple of days, I would just use a pan to heat up water, but I just bought a kettle to make coffee and tea. I cooked a few meals. The mini fridge was helpful. The living room was a little sparsely furnished as it also had 2 Murphy beds that could pull down from the wall for more beds. I thought it could use an update. But the balcony was huge and wrapped around the unit. I went to the pool a few times. I am not visiting to lay out by the pool all day. I would just take a swim and for that, its a very nice pool. I loved walking along the beachfront right across the street every day. I didn't eat breakfast or dinner there once, so I cannot speak to that. I loved the grounds. It was very lush and relaxing. Even though I was there for 3 weeks, I didn't really interact with the staff much except for the wonderful housecleaners on my floor. 3rd floor north building. They were wonderful, kind, caring, and really helped me out a couple of times when I made a mess while cooking. I dropped and broke a bottle of balsamic vinegar and the housekeeper was so nice about cleaning up a huge mess. Plus, my room was always spotless. I had just a couple of interactions with the front desk and they were always professional and helpful. This is a big place. Its in a wonderful location. It met my needs wonderfully. I didn't use it as a stand alone resort, but as a place in a great location right on the beach which I could use to enjoy the area. Its close to the elevator, and a farmacia and a lot of dining and small grocery stores. So, I loved the staff. I loved the location. I liked the room. I would stay here again.

Nice hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Perfect location - by the beach and very close to the city centre. There is a lift that takes you up to the city centre. Also the hotel has a good wifi in the rooms, lots of TV channels and a lovely buffet breakfast.

My wife and I stayed at these apartments and found them great for everything . Food was good and plenty of restaurants just across from entrance when you want a change. The staff were so good and spoke English freely . People were very friendly with plenty of Irish people on holidays there . Definitely would go back.

Great location, nice rooms, well appointed. Great views, nice pool, close to the beach. Parking can be awkward. However, local traders are disinterested and rude.

Lovely aparthotel. Nice atmosphere and staff. Rooms are very clean. Downside is rooms could be updated and the bed is not very comfortable, but bathroom is updated and very clean and modern and shower is unreal. Would stay here again.

Second time returned for a weeks away April 23 lovely experience clean apartment cleaned daily i found staff friendly approachable can ask anything anytime felt welcomed. Staff helped with excursions exchanging currency transport local services. Great place for all the family security on the grounds felt safe. Restaurant bar pool laundrette on the grounds evening entertainment. I'm not a pet fan cats are on the grounds and enter the lobby they keep to themselves you soon forget their around. The decor of the room no change but clean which is important to me. Had all the amenities needed bed comfortable cooking facilities sea view breathtaking. Bathroom clean inviting top marks. Local food shops expensive better to shop at Lidl and Aldi short taxi drive or 2 buses away.

Really wonderful hotel and apartments, and it has a very nice location, close to the sea and the markets, and free parking for guests In addition to a fantastic atmosphere, every evening there is a musician or singer in the main restaurant, and the prices of drinks are very reasonable In addition to an outdoor swimming pool, but you have to rent a chair. I loved staying there and highly recommend it.

We were very happy as family of 4 , what we expect was there : clean rooms, fresh bedding and air conditioning. Really nice and helpful service ladies. The only minus we would give for chairs and table on the tarace really basic and dated.
