After spending quite some time in guesthouses worldwide over the past 15 years or so, it is without exaggeration that emcasa is clearly among the best places we have stayed at. The spacious rooms, the attentive staff, first class food and beverages, the beautiful location and the great hosts all add up to a really great experience. Worth a trip off the beaten paths!

A perfect spot to spend a couple of days and to relax like you never have before. The location is beautiful, the rooms and pool are really luxurious and the hosts will make you feel like a king or queen. Highly recommended!

Timo & Ronnie run a fantastic guest house. By far the best luxury b&b in the area. Great design - stylish and an awesome swimming pool. The breakfast is just perfect. Quality wine list too. Go just for the sunsets!

Our stay at emcasa was outstanding. The rooms, the outside area and the living room is tasteful decorated and equipped with lots of love for detail. In Ronny & Timo's guesthouse you'll find everything you wish for. The day starts with a delicious & large breakfast. For the beach a beach bag with towels, ping pong, water & chairs is provided. Ronny offers lots of ideas for restaurants and trips during your stay. We'll for sure come back!

Excellent service, with the situation that we are living, the host makes sure that all things are cleaned upon used. The room's also have the same treatment every day. I will return for sure.

This is the perfect place for a weekend, 3/4 nights relaxation or a stop between Lisbon and Porto. It’s way more than a normal guesthouse, it’s style, beautiful surrounding meets exceptional attention to detail. I will definitely come back and can highly recommend emcasa.

What an amazing place to stay!! Beautiful decorated rooms -each one with a story behind -, surrounded by nature and tranquility just an hour from the airport. An amazing customized, tasty and rich breakfast. But overall the amazing hosts: Timo & Ronny that make you feel you are at home and you can see they keep on eye in every single detail. With a lot of activities to do in just a few minutes drive and them helping you organize everything, at the end is simply PERFECT!!. Even if you stay for a week, you will wish to stay longer!! at least we wished, so for sure there will be a next time!! Thanks again Ronny & Timo, you are the best!

Our 6 nights stay at Emcasa cannot be summarized in google comments. It was perfection. From the guesthouse studied design, to the pristine pool, the attentions of the hosts, to the food they serve. Everything was up to the standard you expect from a boutique guesthouse. It is fashionable without loosing the cosy and familial atmosphere of a guesthouse. We even had a massage! The garden, preserved with craftsmanship, has a breathtaking view on a forestry valley covered with eucalyptus trees, neighboring some vegetables fields… Perfect place to relax and discover this interesting region of Portugal.

What an incredible place! I cannot rate Ronny & Timo’s place highly enough. Everything is thought out to perfection to the finest detail. The breakfast is outstanding and local (my favourite part of the day at emcasa!), the rooms are stylish and the pool and location are breathtaking. The surrounding beaches are amazing and Ronny had great tips for restaurants and winery’s to visit. We’ll be back for sure!! Thanks again.

Wow wow wow…… stunning all over. Views, pool, cleanliness.

We stayed at #emcasa for two nights. The place is a great pause for us to relax and recharge after two weeks of busy travels. Ronny, Timo and Angela made an impeccable team to make us feel like at home. The lookout is beautiful. The room is spacious, clean and organized as seen in the photos. (Love the big closet space!). As many already mentioned, the poolside breakfast is A+. In particular, their muesli with fresh fruit option together with fresh mint tea and carrot/ ginger juice is a detox for us after stuffing our stomaches with all great Portuguese pastries and traditional food during the trip. The wine selection is great and well-priced. The digital conceiage is a plus - with all excellent restaurants and beaches recommendation. (The "grandma" resto is our favourite!) They even prepared a beach bag for us. We highly recommend this place.

We had a great stay here at the end of summer. We particularly loved our private room overlooking the pool and the breakfast! Highly recommended
