    Good for camping and naturism. The best stretch of beach is actually in the cove just north of Praia do Seixo, accessible from a track down to Praia de Santa Rita (sul), then south around the cape. Climbing around the cape from the south is also possible at low tide, but dangerous and not advisable.

    É uma praia secreta em Santa Cruz...só os locais a conhecem. Imperdível visitar na maré vazia e caminhar até à praia da Ameixoeira.

    TÍPICA PLAYA ATLANTICA DE PORTUGAL DE LA COSTA CENTRAL. LAS PLAYAS DE LA ZONA SON AMPLIOS ARENALES BATIDOS POR EL VIENTO Y FUERTES CORRIENTES QUE LAS HACE PELIGROSAS PARA EL BAÑO, AGUA MUY YODADA QUE LA HACE MUY SALUDABLE.     One of the nicest beaches I have ever been to. Rockpools at low tide, very quiet in the morning. The walk down is a bit challenging as there is no official path or steps but it's worth it!
