Amazing wellness hotel! Staff is super friendly and helpful. We arrived much earlier than the checkin but could use the spa already, same for the checkout. The spa itself is great, we stayed for almost 3 full days in there. It has a lot to offer. Lunch and dinner is rather expensive, Norwegian standards I would say, but offers a great variety of dishes and good portion sizes. The rooms are super comfy and well equipped though the air conditioner did not manage to bring the temperature really down on a summer day. Breakfast buffet is incredibly! A lot of different foods and very tasty. The fine dining restaurant on top of the hotel is also amazing, the Japanese inspired foods were delicious and unique. We will come back for sure!

The Well is truly a class of its own. The digital detox experience lets you fully appreciate every part of this place — from the excellent food and delightful drinks to the unforgettable sessions in the Well area. Every detail is thoughtfully designed, and the rooms are warm and inviting. A unique and relaxing destination. I’ve stayed there several times, and it never disappoints.

This is the BEST experience we did in Oslo! Totally worth the money. The facility is HUGE. And love that we can spend all day there if we wanted to. Highly recommended if you land in Oslo early. Anywhere else has a limited spa access. Minor complaint is that we have to buy swimsuits and cannot bring our own.

Incredible experience, and I mean it. It was everything I wanted and more. Spotless facilities, a jaw-dropping number of pools, saunas, and hot tubs. Incredibly kind staff behind the counter, from those who served the immaculate food (I had the salmon and it was to die for) to everyone taking care of the place. You get the hang of everything after about a half-hour. I’m not shy when it comes to nudity, and neither were most other people, which made me even more comfortable, especially as someone of color. I wasn’t sure if I’d be stared at or made to feel out of place or anything like that—and I wasn’t at all. Lean into the phone detox, too. It’s a challenge but I am glad that it’s a rule. I visited the Biblioteket bar and I had the most amazing time. My servers were so kind. I’m going to try and visit again before my trip is over.

Coming by bus for the first time, it was easy and well deserved. The spa is amazing as always and the rituals are so nice. Friendly staff and good atmosphere. The brasserie serve delicious food in a cozy restaurant. The bedroom are spacious, well decorated and the bed 🤩, perfect place to sleep like a baby. Breakfast, there again 100% amazing between the quality of the food, the choices and the welcoming staff. Always a pleasure to have a break at The Well. 🥰

Spa only review. Things we appreciated: - Tesla charger in the parking lot - Smooth check in process - Cell phone-free environment - Large diversity of pools and saunas. We particularly enjoyed the 1930s art deco room. Frustrations have been well documented by other reviewers: - 100 NOK for parking feels like a poke in the eye - they won’t give you a cup for the water dispensers and instead try to force you to buy a water bottle We stayed about 2 hours on a Wednesday night. We had most saunas to ourself or shared with 1-3 people. We found the experience to be unique, memorable, and romantic. Recommend with enthusiasm.

The Well is a beautiful place, setting in a quiet forest south of Oslo. It's very easily accessible via public transportation. The pools, saunas & spas are bright, clean and relaxing. The staff of the spa, snack bar & reception wonderful. Do make plans to have a meal at the Brassiere restaurant. It's upstairs from the spa/pool area and you can dine in your robe! Evening pass is discounted and starts at 5pm to closing. A great escape from the city while visiting!

I had an amazing stay at The Well Hotel near Oslo! The pools were beautiful and incredibly relaxing, and the massages were some of the best I’ve ever had. The spa rules felt a bit unusual to me as a foreigner, but they added to the unique experience once I got used to them. I especially loved the phone detox, which really helped me unwind and be present. The food was fantastic all day long, with two excellent restaurants right in the building. The beds were super comfy, making it easy to get a perfect night’s sleep.
