(Translated by Google) I visited on Saturday morning. Currently, reservations are required as a measure against corona. It seems that you can enter without a reservation, but you have to wait for admission because the reservation person will be given priority. Planetarium is a complete reservation system. If you do not make a reservation, you will not be able to enter even if you are lined up at the ticket vending machine. At the municipal elementary school in Itabashi Ward, there is a Saturday class only once a month, and when I tried to visit that day, I was able to make a reservation even the day before. However, I tried to make a reservation the day before another Saturday, but I couldn't. The planetarium can be entered in order from the people in line. It's tempting to go to the front because it's lined up, but the planetarium is recommended to be in the back where you can see the whole thing comfortably. Thanks to the teaching, I was able to sit in the best seat. You can feel science through play and experience, so it is recommended for all ages. The hydraulic elevator in the building smells like old machine oil, probably because of hydraulic pressure, so I'm not good at it. Moreover, it shakes rattlingly, so I'm afraid. However, while moving, the elevator proof will be darkened and the stars will be lit up on the ceiling. It's so beautiful that it's worth a look. At the entrance, there are fossil specimens of Triceratops and an exhibition of insects in amber, so if you go after seeing Jurassic Park the day before, it will be a great excitement. Itabashi Ward, which has a lot of knowledge about education, is the reason why such facilities are free of charge. Planetarium is charged, but cheap. Cospa is the best.

<July 23> [Although it is free, it is a fulfilling learning and play spot for children. A spot where you can let your children play all day together with surrounding facilities] ・I used it for free. ・Itabashi Ward, Tokyo. Itabashi Educational Science Museum is located about a 5-minute walk from Kami-Itabashi Station on the Tobu Tojo Line. ~・~・~・~・~・~・~・~・~・~ [Summary of reviews] ・Children's playground available for free ・Enjoy things other than the planetarium ・There is also a planetarium for toddlers (12:30-13:00) ~・~・~・~・~・~・~・~・~・~ ・I had known about its existence for a long time, but I never visited it because I thought, ``My kids are still young, so I probably won't be able to see the planetarium, so why not go now?'' ・However, when I visited it, I realized that it was a wonderful place for children to play and learn, saying, ``I should have visited even though it didn't have a planetarium!'' ・Furthermore, I learned that the planetarium also has a time for young children from 12:30 to 13:00, so if you aim for that time, even young children can have fun. ・The main fun place is the "Underground Science Exhibition Room" on the 1st basement floor. ・There were many hands-on permanent exhibits on the theme of familiar values in a spacious space, and children had fun running around. -Of course, there are some things that are too early for a 2-year-old, and some that even a 2-year-old can enjoy. But on the whole, I thought they were having fun just by being able to feel the atmosphere of play among so many children. ・On the 1st floor, visitors were able to enjoy the aquarium right next to the entrance, marveling at the fossils in the back, and getting excited about the diorama, which included a moving train that was charged by stepping on it. In addition, there was a planetarium on the 1st floor, but this time the toddler time slot was over and it seemed like you could only go in during regular hours, so I decided not to go there with my child who doesn't seem to be able to do it quietly💦 ・Although I did not visit the 2nd floor, it seemed like there were plenty of spaces where you could have fun while learning, including a science laboratory, computer room, laboratory, and creative room. ・I stopped by without making any special plans, so I didn't have much time, so I was disappointed that I couldn't play with them thoroughly. However, since I found out that it is such a wonderful spot for children, I would like to plan my visit carefully next time so that my children can enjoy it from the morning. Itabashi Peace Park and the Central Library are also nearby, so it's very attractive to have a close-knit area where you can let your kids play indoors or outdoors for an entire day. ・It's not far from the station, so you can easily visit by public transportation. ・If you are looking for a children's playground along the Tobu Tojo Line, please visit us once. I'm sure the children will be satisfied. thank you very much. #Tokyo Spots #Sightseeing Spots #Children's Play Area #Itabashi Educational Science Museum #Free Facilities #Planetarium #Science Exhibition Room #Play and Learn #Children's Outing Spots #TokyoSpot #SightseeingSpot #ChildrensPlayground #ItabashiEducationalScienceMuseum #FreeFacility #Planetarium #ScienceExhibitionRoom #PlayAndLearn #ChildrensOutingSpot

Visited after 12 noon on Sunday, October 22, 2023. I thought the selling point of this place was the large planetarium with an entrance on the first floor. I enjoyed the free planetarium for parents and children from 12:30 to 30 minutes, and the paid planetarium from 1:40 to 40 minutes (350 yen for adults, 120 yen for children) with my 6-year-old son. In particular, the paid planetarium is now a Pokemon planetarium content, and many children came. On this day, we also had a hands-on experience making slime (400 yen), which we had a lot of fun with along with the hands-on science content on the first basement floor.

The planetarium for kids was free. (Regular projection menu ticket available for purchase) The library corner and LEGO corner were also free, and many children were enthusiastic about playing. Try making "glowing slime" in a paid workshop (500 yen per person). I bought a ticket at the reception on the first floor and participated. You can walk from Kamiitabashi Station, but if you use JR, there are buses from Akabane and Oji, and it was a 7.8 minute walk from Tokiwadai 3-chome. There is a diaper table in the restroom, and there is also an elevator inside so you can move around with a stroller. The lighting in the elevator was a little dim while it was moving, but the planetarium-like lights on the ceiling were very beautiful. Admission is free, so you can go in and out, and there's Yokado and a large park nearby, so toddlers to elementary school students can play for a long time while coming in and out according to the planetarium and workshop times.

(Translated by Google) The theme of the planetarium was "Let's go to space," but I think the content should be brushed up a little more. I'm not going to see the hugely projected illustration of Irasutoya and Yusaku Maezawa's face, so I'd like to visit again on another theme.

(Translated by Google) Although it's not big, it's just the first floor and B1, and the interior feels very much in the 1980s and 1990s (for me, I miss it very much, like the Taichung Science Museum I went to when I was a child), but there are real dinosaur fossils to see, and there are many educational The fun facilities allow parents and children to experience and learn scientific knowledge together. It is very interesting. It is recommended for the whole family to play together for a day and a half. There are also small green spaces outside where you can rest and play.

(Translated by Google) Both the planetarium and the exhibition room require online reservations up to the day before or reservations at the office, and if there is a vacant space on the day of the visit, reservations can be made on the same day. However, we do not recommend making reservations on the day of the event, as the slots are often filled on Saturdays and Sundays. I was able to book a planetarium on the day of my visit, but it was a few hours later, so I enjoyed the exhibition room with my son, but I still had some time left, so I took a walk in the library and Peace Memorial Park next door. ..

It's a small science museum, but the planetarium is good. I guess it's an old thing, but it's nice to have the curator explain it live. The exhibition corner in the basement has many hands-on exhibits that I think children will enjoy. It's quite small, so you'll only have to play for an hour or two, but it's a free facility, so I don't think it'll be a problem. However, I really want you to give up on the fact that the women's toilets are all Japanese style. I don't think it would be possible for a facility aimed at children to have mainly Japanese-style toilets. I think it would be a better facility if that was improved.

I'm sure all elementary school students and alumni of the ward have been there at least once. I visited for the first time in several decades, but there were still exhibits that left a lasting impression on me. Although it's a lot of fun, it's undeniably outdated, with the CRT video explanations and power system exhibits made at the time rusty and often undergoing adjustments. Thanks to the creative efforts of everyone in charge, the children lined up to make slime on the day of our visit and looked like they had a lot of fun. The current selling point is probably the planetarium, but small children are of course welcome, and although the dome is small, they were able to enjoy the impressive starry sky. On the way home, I saw the beautiful library next door, and the science museum here is also an important facility for children, so I hope they will consider updating it.

Compared to the past, the machines you can play with are getting older and have fewer breakdowns, but since you can enjoy it for free, I can't say anything lol.

(Translated by Google) I went to play in August. The admission fee is free, and the planetarium was Crayon Shin-chan at that time, and I think that children could see it if they paid 200 yen. I can't complain because it's free, but there were many broken playground equipment. You can play to measure your reflexes, play to measure your balance, and check your body fat percentage with Tanita. There is no parking lot. I made slime for a science experiment. It's about 600 yen.

I feel like I haven't been to a museum lately, so I decided to come here. As expected from the city, it's free (excluding the planetarium). There are various devices available for you to enjoy. My favorite point is the library corner. Gakken's ``Secrets of ~'' series, which is well-known to those in the know, is full of books. There are about 5 years worth of science magazines such as Newton, so you can spend a whole day here.

There is a nice planetarium that shows movies and there are many events for kids. It is close to central library so this area is great to visit on a rainy day.

The exhibition materials are a bit old and worn out but everything except the planetarium is free, and even that is just 350¥ for adults and 120¥ for kids, so it's a great place for kids to experiment with science and astronomy for the first time. They also do workshops and special events sometimes, it's worth keeping an eye on their website for those.
