All tourists. They have decent prices and an English menu. They do a table charge and kind've force you out after a certain amount of time. The food was decent, the skewers are tasty, specially the chicken heart 🐔❤️ 5 adults each full by sharing multiple dishes for around ¥4,000 per person

Lively atmosphere, nice decor and friendly service staff. However, I was told about the cover charge only after they have served me my beer. Skewers were average at best. The tori karaage was quite delicious — the batter was just right Yakitori Chef is a Vietnamese. Staff tried to do damage control by coming to us after we’ve exited to ask about our experience. We mentioned there’s no note on entrance about cover charge and he tried to explain that it was on the order sheet. Overall, it feels like a tourist trap. Steep prices but well it’s at Ginza. Go ahead if you like somewhere clean, friendly and convenient 1 Star for ambience, 1 for the chicken

Good skewers, private seatings away from the skewing station have ample AC, a very much needed reprieve from the summer heat. I love that this restaurant takes down our names and told us to come back in an hour, so we didn’t have to wait on the steps down to the basement restaurant. The skewers were the highlight of the night, the other bar food were decent, but nothing I can’t get in North America. I like the chicken with leeks, but also like the creative spin on other skewers with the addition of cheese and radish. The service was good, and the servers were friendly. Would recommend to foreigners traveling in large parties as they were able to accommodate our party of 6.

I think it's kinda overrated. The atmosphere is absolutely good, same as the most popular Izakaya/Bistro in Japan. Very loud and hyper. The service is just so so based on the Japanese service standard. Probably they are too busy to take care of every customer. They even missed our order, and forgot to give us the towels. The food is the key - not satisfied. We were sitting just in front of the cooker who is cooking those barbecue skewers. We saw some skewers falling down to the floor and he just pick it up, put it back to the grill and keep cooking. Plus the chicken we order is not cooked, still raw. We saw the blood inside. The positive thing is they accepted our complaint and then cooked another one for us, but cooked food is just a basic standard which is not allowed in a restaurant. I don't recommend it. But it is good for foreign visitors because they have many chains in the world and their staff speak English.

We enjoyed doing something different. We sat around the cooking area. The grill with chicken, steak, mushrooms and more cooking away. The vodka drinks were great. The desserts, too! I would stay away from the chicken shewers. The beef and mushroom shewers were our favorite ones. We didn't realize they charged 550 Yen each plus 10% service charge for dining here. So, we ended up overspending.

One important thing you should know before dining here, they charge customers 'Table Fee' of ¥550/head, which was not discussed or mentioned anywhere. We had no idea of this charge until we asked for our bill. Honestly, I'd be willing to pay at least 10% service charge for the level of service they provided (it was really good + the bathroom went beyond expectation) but hated the fact they hid the ¥550/pax charge from customers and called it "appetizer fee" in our bill and acted like it's normal to have that charge. No sir. 😅 Place is not crowded. Some staff can communicate in English. Food is excellent as expected from Tokyo. In my humble opinion, lose the appetizer fee or table charge or whatever you want to call it and just add a service charge. If you prefer to keep the extra fees, make sure to put up signs around the store including in the actual Menu. At the very least, have the staff explain it before ordering not when paying the bill. TL;DR everything good except ¥550/pax hidden fee.

Easy to find place if you look for the signs. Place is small and cozy, was packed when I came on a weekday night. They were turning away people at 10pm due to high table use. Food was great, service was prompt and attentive. Some of the food may be an acquired taste such as the shark bones appetizer. The chicken meats were delicious, must eat them once served as that is when they taste best. Chicken skin was a highlight for me. The famous potato salad is very filling and best eaten shared. Would definitely come again as the place is welcoming and easy to dine at as a foreigner.

This is a must go place, all the staffs are so hospitality! They have various of selections and delicious appetizers. Nice place to hang out with friends. They also blocked their cooking area with glass wall, so you can see the chef cooking.

Best restaurant I’ve had in Tokyo so far, such good service and good food. Staff are very friendly and welcoming! Highly recommend the mackerel, the waitress will use the blow torch in front of you and it’s such a fun experience!!! Definitely will come back next time we’re in Japan ❤️😍

I went solo and had great experience at this venue. You’ve to go down the steps and remove your footwear. They had English menu and the staff could communicate in English. The free appetiser crackers and apple cream was so delicious. I got the assorted sticks, rice, fried onions, miso soup and mango vodka. The chef Ganesh was very friendly and fun to talk to.

Been here 3 years ago just before Covid, and finally able to come here again. Really nice place with unique experience, the location itself is in a basement, and a bit small (But they really make use of the space). The staff is very nice and friendly, and also can speak good English (Which is quiet rare in Japan). The food itself is really good. They specializing in yakutori, I'd say all the yakutori is good, but the beef skewer one is the best! Will definitely come back again if staying in Ginza next time.

We had a late bite here on Sunday night where usually all of the other places are closed, and their service was amazing. The food was fresh, the staff were superb, so much fun overall. Their decoration is very beautiful and welcoming, also they have these cute cubes that you can sit in and multiple options for sitting of a few people to large groups. We ordered a fish that they made with direct fire on your table which is so cool! Overall highly recommended!

I made reservation to visit this Fukumimi bistro on the evening of my arrival into Tokyo . Was really disappointed with the food . Well, the atmosphere is cosy if you just want to have some drink there. However not for food to me . I ordered 4 skewers, 2 of them was so salty , impossible to eat . The chicken skin is not crispy, I taste only fats .... the liver were so raw n I taste blood ... I left after one bite of each skewers which is within 20 min after I entered the shop and paid 2100 yen . I will definitely not going back for sure . It really ruin my appetite..... If you are looking for yakitori , I suggest you go somewhere else .

Wonderful experience! We made reservations for a group of six people. You can sit by the grill (for small parties) or sit on private areas (for a bigger group). Before being seated, we had to remove our shoes (make sure to wear socks). The staff was very attentive and brought the food promptly. The food was delicious and fresh. Some of the servers speak English. They offer an English Menu.

Cozy atmosphere. Great food. We tried all chicken skewers and all were good. You can sit there for two hours and each dish of skewers you order contains two of skewers.

Super awesome little place, eat and drink as much as you want. They have a set menu, all the food they served was delicious. There is a 2 hour time limit but we'll worth it. A bit pricey, but if you eat and drink alot it will be worth your while.

Nice restaurant with English menu provided, nice foods and free wifi, great staff service with good English ability. However the skewer of chicken looks a bit raw but overall foods quality are satisfactory, will definitely visit this restaurant again!

I think I was able to dine in without a reservation since I was alone. My wife wanted to stay longer with her family in Korea, and I had a night to spend in Tokyo before head back to the States. I heard about this place by following a Youtuber. Yakitori was great and I loved the atmosphere. But, Highball and lemon sour tastes water down. Grill boys sounded little unprofessional. I would've broke that finger lifting at me to hold in my face if it was in my home town. Certainly did not appreciate that attitude. I checked the receipts later that night and I was right that I was over charged a couple of things(I know what seat charges Otoshi is). But it's ok. I considered them as gratitude.

Found this gem because everything we had been recommended to eat around Ginza was closed for the New Year period. So glad we found this! Everything we tried was grilled to perfection and delicious, especially the angel shrimp skewer and the grilled squid. We wanted to try the deep-fried onion flower, but we had already over ordered by the time we saw it.

CHECK YOUR BILL FIRST. I wouldn’t recommend this place. If you do decide to try this place, I’d highly recommend double check your bill before paying because they might add something you didn’t order to your bill. This happened to us tonight that they tried to charge us for 2 items we didn’t order. Luckily we found it and called it out. Though they did eventually correct their own mistake, the whole process was unpleasant. They didn’t even apologize to us. I can tell it’s not the first time they did this. This is not the way to run any businesses, especially for restaurants.

Arrived an hour before closing for a quick bite and drink. Was advised I could only order once "last order" which was inconvenient but understandable. However, after I sat down, two other parties arrived and were seated, which made "last order" feel like it would be more convenient for the staff than customer focussed. There was English on the menu which made ordering easy. Before the food came, I was given an appetizer of 3 saladas and a scoop of cream cheese which I assumed was complimentary (common to have a "welcome appetizer" in yakitori restaurants). When I got the bill, turns out it was ¥550! Food was average. Staff were attentive but English communication is limited. Majority non-Japanese (including the chef who is from Nepal). Overall, would not visit again given there are many better options in the area. I suspect the "last order" is used often as you are likely to order more than you need when hungry, and appetizer scam makes me feel the establishment is not customer centric (however, staff were polite). Food quality did not represent value for money.

I’m loving the vibe and the drinks. The place might be intimidating for first timers as its in the basement with narrow stairs but the atmosphere is great. Servers are very attentive. They’ll immediately ask if you want a refill soon as you finish your drink. The salted plum drink with soda is really good. They also serve complimentary biscuits with cream cheese and potato.

Yakitori prepared right in front of you. Really intimate cozy setting. Great English speaking staff. Food was great! Would recommend. Busy with tourists on the night we dined. Shoes off! (I made the mistake 😀)

Really nice variety of skewers and cooked really fast. A lot of very tasty side dishes too, such as the deep fried whole onion. You only get 2 hours to eat, though, and it's a bit narrow

Was browsing on Google map for dinner recommendation and came across this little gem. Well beyond expectation and the food is great! English menu w/pictures is a big plus!

Thrilled to have discovered Tokyo's finest culinary masterpiece! The chicken skin and beef skewers were an absolute taste sensation – if you're into avant-garde interpretations of AWFUL.

I’m not a fan of izakaya but I really enjoy this restaurant. We went there as a party of 7 and we have a private table which is very cozy. The food is pretty good and the staff can speak basic English and they are friendly. However, the food was a bit overprice and some part of the shop was not so clean.

Singapore based tourist in Ginza. Lovely, great value meal for 4 with drinks (umeboshi shochu soda, yum!). The mushroom skewers, potato salad and apple cheese crackers are recommended!
