The food was delicious. The vibe was very local and it really gives you a taste of what a Japanese yakitori is like. Note: - limited seating (not recommended for a group of more than four) - space is tight to move around. Go into the restaurant to wait for seats. - hang your coats on the coat hooks along the wall - English menu is available - a lady in the restaurant understands English - try the eel (unagi) - beer comes as a bottle, so you can order 1 bottle at a time. You can request for multiple glass if you’re party is more than one

Great place to experience Japanese cuisine and dining. Food is good, English is not a problem and you can make it through. there might be little bit of waiting time, but taking account the busy streets around, its not a big deal. if you are around, give it a try

Great yakitori place. My favorites were the ground meat one and the white meat chicken with freshly grated wasabi (pictured). They have English menus and some servers spoke English too.

Worst restaurant I’ve been in Japan in 15 days. At 9pm on a Friday they had almost nothing and what they had was horrible.

Various chicken dishes. Sometimes they even serve chicken sashimi. Most dishes are undercooked fresh chicken meat and organs. Grilled eel is good too.

I thought food was delicious but my very last bite of chicken was way undercooked. I didn’t know until I bit into it and ate half of the piece. It was bigger than the rest. When I had ordered they asked ‘medium or well done?’ I picked ‘well done’. Unfortunately for me 3 days after eating here I became very ill. I have been sick for 4 days while trying to navigate a foreign medical system and my vacation is turning into an expensive nightmare. I don’t know for certain that this place caused my illness but I feel pretty sure. I don’t want to give one star because I’m sure this was a rare mistake. Everyone in there looked like experts that have done this for 30+ years. For information for the restaurant the undercooked piece was chicken breast. The chicken thigh with leeks tasted way better and was well cooked. I had planned to come back even after the uncooked piece but not after it led to this illness.

Most items on the menu were sold out, but they kept accepting customers. They didn't even have Negima. For what they had, it was too salty, it lacked the charcoal flavour and I was disappointed overall. I've had a lot better even outside Japan.

Top 3 of this kind of Japanese BBQ I ever ate and I forgot who are the other two. Really very very nice. And there happened to be two Chinese speaking staff and with English menu very convenient for foreigners. Keep eating so no time to photo all the food. But all are so good. Chicken heart, stomach, leg, skin, eel are all so nice

Best yakitoris I have had in my life... the chicken-Wasabi one taste like Heaven... the (half-raw) chicken is so tender you can cut it with the tongue... We were there by 16:30 cause some reviews said to arrive early, we waited for 45min to have 2 seats at the countertop, but definitely worth the waiting time. The menu is translated in English, and they speak enough English to help you to order. The mood of the restaurant was also really good, we talked a bit with our countertop neighbor, who visibly liked a lot the umeshu. Was a really pleasant moment with my wife. 200% recommended.

Tiny little shop loved by the locals. Great yakitori eats - they have a really simple menu but boy do they execute this menu to perfection. Try to get there early otherwise you might end up waiting longer than expected!

Really tasty yakitori, the vegetables and duck were amazing. We arrived ~19:30 and waited less than 10 minutes.

I understand they run the restaurant the way they want but they do ignore visitors. The skewers were ok and the chicken sashimi was delicious.

Wonderful sashimi tori, gizzard and liver. Very nice people and very fast.

Heavy drinking spot. Most dishes were only flavored with salt and the available condiments on the table. It's pretty overrated unless you get drunk.

Spent about 3100 yen for a dinner of 2. Food is delicious. My favorite is meatball with yuzu (つくね). The fresh yuzu taste balanced out the oiliness of the meat. Another favorite of mine is chicken wrapping vegetables (しそまき), but be warned that the chicken is a bit raw, though not sure whether it's intentional. For the chicken skin, they are too generous. I would recommend 2 people to share for 1 stick.

As a westerner, the thought of eating 25% cooked chicken is not even considered back home haha. But I must say, it was DELICIOUS! The fully cooked skewers were also flavorful and the staff was precise and friendly enough. Made a few new friends in my two visits due to the cozy size of the seating area. If you love Yakitori, GO HERE!

Excellent yakitori! I really like their tsukune, with onion and yuzu it's the best I've had so far. Friendly service with basic English and an English menu.

One of the best straight up yakitori places I've been in Shibuya. Stopping by here for a few skewers before another restaurant is fine too.

A great, authentic experience, friendly and accommodating staff and interesting flavours. So why the two stars? I like to think i have a pretty tough stomach so rarely react poorly to a meal (have travelled and eaten food from of south east Asia, as my benchmark) - however this time I had (mild) stomach pain afterwards, which was confirmed by my partner who dined with me and unfortunately does not have an iron stomach and was up all night trying to get through really painful stabbing pain , only to find relief several hours later. We both suspect some of the skewers were undercooked - I don't think food cleanliness/handling was an issue. I was really looking forward to this meal given the reviews.
