Beware when you book know that none of the items in the booking will actually be in the room including no fire alarm, no safe, no coffee machine and not more than 500ml of water a day among other defficiencies. Absolutely outrageous, wish I had seen the other options in town before picking the most expensive because I thought it would have good service. Never again although he restaurant staff were amazing and the food too/ Such a shame.

Not a 5 star hotel! My room was surrounded by unaccompanied kids whose parents were out partying. Couldn't believe the response from reception when I complained about the slamming doors and what felt like a herd of elephants next to my room. The reception told me "Don't worry about it", completely unacceptable. Good luck to whoever wants a quiet weekend here.

Our stay was not pleasant. There was a party at night that we were not informed about. When we knew about it, the staff confirmed that music will stop by 12:30 a.m. However, after this hour, and after reaching out to the reception team more than twice to complain about the on-going loud music, the music finally stopped at 2:45 a.m. We asked the following day for a check-out extension as a compensation but the staff at the reception was not flexible. At the checkout, we had to sit with the front-desk manager to express our dissatisfaction and apparently he was understanding and promised to get back to us with a feedback in a week time. But after three weeks I emailed them to follow up on our complaint. Again no one replied. I called one week later and was informed that customer service will answer soon. Unfortunately, and after 1 month, the customer service defended their position and stated that they informed us at our arrival that the music will stop at 1 a.m. and that it stopped only after 30 min, at 1:30 a.m. The experience with the customer service is bad and as first-time visitors, we were not treated well at all, specially after raising the complaint. I don’t recommend a stay at this hotel.

For what the reviews stated, I expected something way better...I have traveled around to many countries and it was my first time coming to Lebanon....the rooms are normal and I am comparing it to hotels I have been to not to ones in Lebanon. I expected a better service , they do not allow you to bring or order any food from outside which is odd...management was very poor is solving issues...the breakfast was normal and very simple, yet I enjoyed the quiet environment while having it. Other than that....I personally do not recommend...not very friendly. They have a misunderstanding of what classy is supposed to be

The hotel is very cosy with an excellent location in the middle of zahle souks so you don't need a car. The service is just right like all hotels. One thing though is that upon booking I agreed with the lady in charge for late check out because it was a low season but I received a call to leave the room one hour before what we agreed on. This issue was the only negative thing I faced, but still it was not professional in my opnion

I am visiting the pool side usually on the weekends. Unfortunatelly, the food does not reflect the stars of hotel. The club sandwich is not the favorite of the chef. If he feels, he prepares it, but if not, he refusing it. The bred what they use is toast bread that can be found on the market but using the bred shortage as excuse not to prepare the sandwich is very questionable. Otherwise, my visits are enjoyable and the service staff are trying to satisfy my visits. Sometimes kids are very-very laud so do not use the pool for relaxation. :-) The service staff are young and ready to fulfill the orders and try to make your stay as good as possible. However, it would be nice if they learn more about how to manage the pool side. Their eyes should be alway on the area and clean it as soon as possible after visitors departure or the food had been consumed. The Manager is very polite, helpful and try to satisfy customers. Over all my visits were enjoyable even with above mentioned issues.

Currently staying at the hotel while I’m writing this post. It’s 11pm and there is a party going on with loud music in front of the hotel….I’m not sure if this is normal but it’s not the best if you looking to get a good nights sleep. Also, do not trust the menu as there is a conflicting information on what you order and what you get. We ordered a 4 cheese penne which listed coming with mushrooms and broccoli, which those item not in the meal. The rooms are nice though….

A charming hotel that offers exceptional service! All staff members were professional and pleasant! Room was extremely clean same as the pool. The food is delicious and the breakfast has a wide variety of Lebanese cuisine. Very much enjoyed our stay!

I have stayed at The Grand Kadri twice now. Both times the staff was so nice & welcoming. They are hardworking & detail oriented. The hotel is so beautiful & the fact that it’s a historical location makes the hotel even more fascinating. I have had several meals here & now I want hummus. The front desk staff made me feel extra special because they remembered me from my first visit the year before. I highly recommend staying here especially if you love being surrounded by beautiful mountains because the views overlooking the courtyard are breathtaking. I loved sitting on the window seat while sipping hot tea & watching the sunrise.

This place is in the heart of Zahle. The rooms are spacious. The breakfast is an open buffet with manakish, labne, cheese, ham, sahlab and others. The restaurant at the hotel is also good however didnt like the sushi there, it is far from being sushi.

Best hotel in Zahle, with exceptional staff and rooms to adore, a mix of old architecture and modern design.

Worst reservation department The hotel rooms are very good and well maintained. The buffet breakfast is very good and lot of varieties in it. I have been in this hotel for 3 times and one of the reasons i am coming back to the hotel is the service of the front desk people, and their great buffet breakfast. The worst department in the hotel is the reservation department, i advice anyone who want to reserve a room do not reserve ahead wait till the last week of your date. Sorry it will be a long story but what happen with me with the reservation department is as follow; i decided to book 2 suites in the month of September 2023 for 1 night so i contacted the reservation department in May 2023 so that i will get a good price because i am reserving ahead and i am a repeated customer. i told the reservation department that i need 1 Crystal suite and 1 Family suite so he told that i can give you the crystal suite for $400 per night and the family suite $550 per night, i told him that i am a repeated customer and this is my 3 time in the hotel so you have to give a good price, so he deducted just $30 from each Suite only. I said it is OK maybe it will be high season still and the prices are like that. What surprise me later is that one of my friend call in August and reserve for a Crystal Suite and they give him a price of $350 per night in the weekend and $300 per weekdays and they call a week before the day needed. i contacted the reservation department they told me yes Sir we are just doing a promo for a period in August, i said it is OK maybe in September the price will come back to what they gave me. Before few days of my reservation i contact the hotel and ask that i want to reserve a crystal suite for the same date that i was checking in i was surprised that he told me that they can give it to me at the rate of $250 per night for the weekend. i was chocked but i said no problem let me try to chat with the reservation department and check with them to offer me a voucher with the difference between $ 370 and $250 or put for me special amenities in the room like a bottle of champagne with a fruit platter and other things as i paid more than the actual rate. They reply me don't worry sir. I reached the hotel and nothing was done to my reservation i ask the front desk people and they told me no any note sir is left for you. On my check out date i met the front office manager and explain for him my situation so he reply me the reservation department didn't tell us anything about the matter and they never mention it on the system. The front office manager was apologizing about what happen and he was trying to check if i can stay one more night to compensate me. i told him that i need to check out i can't stay so he told me that he will speak to the GM and he will write a note on the system so that if next time i will come they will give me a good price. What really annoy me is that i am a regular customer and they gave me the highest price although they know that in September the season will start to be a low season. I advice always not to reserve before months just in the same month like this you will get lower price because the reservation department don't know how to deal with customer that reserve ahead and they want to fulfill their targets from people that they reserve in advance which is the worst customer service.

We visited this place with our 4-year and 1-year old kids. The reception was good. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. We loved the facilities and enjoyed all services. The food was great both from the restaurant as well as the morning breakfast buffet, which displayed great variety and fresh products. The pool area was clean and the water was refreshing though on the cold side. The rooms were very neat and comfortable, with a nice view, even from the back side of the hotel. The location of the hotel is very convenient with interesting attractions available at walking distance. We especially enjoyed the ambiance in the restaurant in the evening with light music and amazing food and set-up. It’s definitely a great go-to hotel, ideal for families or couples.

Great service and premium comfort at an adorable USD price for tourists. The only reason it's not 5 stars is that the power sockets in the room were inexplicably of the British format, therefore useless in Europe-format Lebanon

I stay here when visiting family. Best hotel in Zahle with great service. Reliable electricity. Beautiful stone architecture. Right in the center of the city, by the river. They checked me in even when I arrived at 5am in the morning! And they have a nespresso machine in the room!

Very nice and clean hotel in the heart of Zahlé, Lebanon. Located in the center of the town, with a beautiful view of a park from one side, and the main road from the other. I took a room with a balcony overseeing the park, and did not disappoint. Service is on spot and staff are very friendly and helpful. Mini bar is a little shy, yet room service is available 24/7, with a nice restaurant as well. If you’re visiting Zahlé and want a good hotel to stay in, do not hesitate.

The staff is nice and the rooms are clean. But there was a party during our stay and music kept playing until 2:30 am. Then at breakfast (which lasts until 11) they stopped serving at 10:30 with no prior notice because they have an event.

If your visiting Zahle, Grand Kadri is the place to stay we own a house in the area but we love spending a few nights when visiting Lebanon. The pool is very clean and nice, but the water is definitely cold takes some time to get use to. The rooms are beautiful and the staff are great, they hire all the local kids which is nice. They have a beautiful terrace where you can hang out with the family or friends, can't go wrong with Grand Kadri.

It has been a few years since we last stayed in this hotel. It appears to have undergone a renovation. The staff are extremely welcoming. Parking might seem to be a problem but it isn't, there is always someone standing by waiting to park your car in a safe place so you don't need to worry. Great value

A very old hotel in the center of Zahle. You can see the heritage in the walls, rooms and surrounding. Very convenient for staying while visiting the central Bekaa. Staff are very helpful, friendly and welcoming; that makes you feel home. The hotel is also amazing as a wedding venue whether indoor or outdoor

Worse experience ever Freezing room for 200$ payed in advance and the stupid excuse of the reception is that the manager thinks that it is not cold enough outside to turn the heater, while the temperature is 11 degrees centigrade outside. Only 4 local channels available to watch. What a pity for such a beautiful architecture 😌

Coins: 1-They obliged us to take our keys, plus they had a wedding so they parked our cars outside the hotel parking on the street. I talked to the manager and we went into 1 hour debate so they removed our cars from the street and parked them inside the hotel parking. 2- we arrived at 1pm, they closed the pool intrance at 3pm.. bcz of the wedding. At least they should tell us before the reservation that there is a wedding and that tue pool will be closed at 3pm, we paid 250$ per night and couldn't use the pool. 3-poor management skills in solving problems. Pros: Luxury rooms Delicious food

The rooms and location are perfect. Also the service from the people working at the hotel and at the valet parking is really good. However, they charge you a $10 parking fee at the hotel? And i am certain this money is not going to the hard working valet personnel - this is management claiming this absurd amount. While you can just as easy park on the street 10 meters away. I realized the latter to late, and i am genuinely shocked by the shere audacity of a high class hotel to charge a parking fee this absurd in a place where there is an abundance of free parking lots everywhere (e.g. in the center of Stockholm, it would make a different case). So please - park outside the hotel, don't pay the fee, and complain about this weird new policy they made up 2 months ago!
