I had a lovely 2 weeks in Perpignan and excellent French language instruction with Frederique, who was patient and knowledgeable. Florence and Chloe arranged many outings for us and Laurent was an excellent guide for our wine and cheese pairing education. I would highly recommend Alfmed. I learned so many things, above and beyond the excellent language course. Thanks to all at Alfmed for making this an unforgettable experience!

I've had a really awful experience here. I came for a 9 week vocational Erasmus+ exchange and Alfmed was responsible for my language course, internship and accomodation. The language course (1 week) was extremely bad. As a french beginner I was put into a class with two other people who had advanced french skills. All they did was having conversations about politics while I didn't even know the most basic words. The accomodation was a nightmare with a lot of teenagers that were constantly drunk. The tap water in the house was brown and only excuses were given. The worst part is the president of this language school. As someone who struggled with bullying in the french company where I did my internship all I got from her was being yelled at, shamed and even insulted. She also treated trainees really badly. I don't recommend this place for an Erasmus exchange.

This is very much a review of two halves. The plus points - the staff are very helpful and friendly and the quality of teaching first class. The location is very convenient as only a few minutes walk from the central bus and train station where you can also find parking for €1 for 4 hrs. On these elements I would recommend - a 4*+ And so now for the negatives and I’m sorry I feel bad about this because ans I say the people there are really good. Unfortunately the facilities are very tired and very “old school” - mainly flip charts and white boards. I was surprised that there was very little supporting material (especially given the charges) which meant taking lots of notes during class. The student facilities are limited - only 2 toilets for all classes & staff and although there was a kitchen there was nowhere for students to sit except for some benches outside. The second week there was a very large group of young school children at the school which highlighted one of the other issu...
