Friendly staff, yes, also well located, but nothing else positive to say. Can’t regulate the heating, my door was half broken (didn’t really fit the frame anymore so it squeaked really loudly and it was a pain to open or close), the walls are way too thin - you could hear the next-doors watching TV, which they did 24/7, also at 3am. They really need a silence policy at night! And changing the room barely helps, because the rooms are not isolated enough and you can hear surrounding bars and screaming (drunk) teenagers throughout the night. And in the morning 7am you wake up by the street sweeper cleaning up after the party anyway. The fire alarm also randomly went on twice, showerhead holder was broken too and light switch at the bed didn’t work either. I am sorry, Tournai might be a cute little city but I will never voluntarily return here again.

good choice for breakfast. Small rooms, room nr. 102 awful smell could only sleep with an open window. Dusty and dirty and you can see the hotell needs a refreshment. Location very good.

Friendly and helpful staff, and a nice bar/restaurant area, but the rooms are seriously tired. A bit of TLC and this place could be a gem, but as it stands it's not great value on spite of the location only a few minutes walk from Grand Place.

Nice location but not a good room. Black mould in the ceiling and very crowded room full of furniture. Good hard beds though and very nice persons in the reception.

Basic but roomy and luxurous, with a view of the cathedral, so i loved it! More than its money's worth!

The room was poorly ventilated, resulting in mould. The bed had a giant stain, 1 towel was torn, the room smelled damp. Breakfast was good, dinner was not (1 course for 18€, homecooked meal). Good location and friendly staff.

Hotel needs a complete overhaul. Rooms are small and worn out. Most of all, if you want to attract American tourists you need air conditioning.

Nice place in the shadow of the cathedral and the main square lovely staff and breakfast very good wish we had more time there than we did car parking can be a bit of a problem but we managed a space by the hotel also you get free parking from 5 pm until 9am also free during the dinner time about 1 and a half hours quite easy to find despite the one way system and road works

I take no comfort in writing this review as the staff are so friendly and attentive, but this hotel is in desperate desperate need of renovation. Hot water was intermittent, the WiFi was almost non existent and the rooms were very poor. I'll try and add photos Sorry 😔
