😠 Waited over 40min for ONE meal... The serving size was HUGE, however $6 for ONE piece of toast is ridiculous!!! The bacon had been cooked in the dirtiest pan possible, as it tasted like every dirty campfire I've ever cooked on - great for the bush, but not for suburbia. Honestly, yes they are busy... People often mention good, great, coffee, staff, wait, service, busy, eggs, Townsville,

Very popular cafe, breakfast wraps are so good and very filling. We could place our order very easily by scanning the QR code instead of having to line up at the counter. Meal came out pretty quick. Easy parking, seating inside and outside.

Honestly, yes they are busy, and the serving sizes are huge, but during your busiest periods have more staff on, and cooking on clean cookware would go a long way.

Always a delicious feed and great coffee. Got the Brekky Burger "to-go" and its just as good as eating in. A few new additions to the menu this season, the staff are extremely friendly and are happy to give recommendations or adjust for dietaries.

I still vouch the coffee is good, the beans they use make a difference. However my bad experience is probably more directed at management. Overpriced food for what they serve and it’s not like they have a view of Maggie island to make up for the price you pay! Bought the granola and had 3/4 of one whole strawberry added and 5 blueberries! For a $20 granola breakfast that’s a ripoff if that’s what you consider ‘fruit’ on top of muesli with a spoonful of yoghurt in middle. Next my husband’s eggs Benny came and the poached eggs were boiled eggs. But because we waited 45 mins for our meal and knew we didn’t want to wait any longer we didn’t say anything to the already hammered cafe staff. Where’s the extra staff for the money they would be earning from our meals? Tables don’t get cleaned, no table service for coffees you get takeaway but having at your table.. Most people don’t complain and just don’t return. Someone else just needs to open a competing cafe with better service and prices and this place would lose a lot of their current customers.

These guys have long been the best coffee and breaky in Townsville but their new restaurant is amazing. Food is as good as Townsville gets, if you can’t be bothered heading into town for Jam or touch of salt this is definitely worth a look.

My go to place for good coffee and great breaky. Excellant service, always with a smile. Food is reasonably quick despite how busy it can get.

So often I go out in Townsville, pay high prices for dinner and leave not quite satisfied. But not at The Spirited Goat!!! The food was top shelf for taste and the service I received was worthy of Buckingham Palace. Treat yourself tonight and enjoy The Spirited Goat.

Damien Tosh the chef there does easily the most amazing food in either Townsville or Cairns. I had the swordfish special for dinner tonight and it's the most delicious meal I have had all year. I highly recommend going along for a wonderful dinner. The staff were great and since we went early it was lovely and quiet. Definitely the place to go if you love good food.

Delicious breakfasts on flame grilled sourdough. We had the eggs benny and avo on toast, hash browns and poached eggs and bacon and it was all terrific. Fantastic smoothies and juices. Absolutely recommend.

I get my coffee from the Goat most days. Their coffee is always great and the staff are great. We eat there and at the Italian Place occasionally and the food is always excellent. Breakfast is great and they do a good range of tasty smoothies and juices as well.

Absolutely amazing little place. Both the maple and the raspberry coffee blends have a great taste that is made even better by the great service and wonderful people working there. It can get pretty busy and can have a decent wait times, but always worth the wait! A must have

Love this little hidden gem in Ottos precinct. I visit here whenever I am in Townsville for the best fish sandwich ive ever had anywhere in the world. My brothers and I love getting the round table in the middle, ordering the fish sandwich and a few other sides and a couple beers from the small but well thought out bar selection.

One of the best eggs benny I've ever had! The brioche bread was so soft and easy to cut into - it had a sweetness to it which enhanced the other flavours of the dish. The buttered mushrooms were so full of flavour and it's hard to mess up hash browns! Bit more expensive than your usual cafe but the quality of the food is well worth it! This place is always busy so you know it's a good cafe. Can't wait to come back again another day!

Edit: came here again on a trip through and was very disappointed. Ordered the same meals and it was so underwhelming. Daughters food was missing half the contents, stuck to the plate with thick sugar. No delicious granola, no berries.... staff were lovely when I spoke to them and explained the first one was an adult one apparently. So first one was a bonus. So if you have a kid with taste, dont waste your time getting the kids one... Mine, the bacon was dirty being cooked on a dirty grill.. no microgreens... I really love consistency if I find a good place to eat... and this was not it, may not be back. :( Probably one of the best feeds I've ever had in Townsville on our visits. Coffee was a little burnt but drinkable, but the food was phenomenal. The granola served with my daughters french toast was so good. Just everything was delicious. Can't wait to come back.

Food was interesting though Cappuccino was a little cold (a one off I'm sure!) A place that is really appreciated by the Public as each time I've been it's packed. So a good ambience. Staff good.

Dropped in for a coffee. Was amazing and a nice little spot. Be prepared to line up to order, it's busy and you have to wait....

We came in during lunch during a busy service my partner ordered the pumpkin salad that was amazeballs 🥹 and also had the chicken sandwich which really surprised me how massive the bread was I’m glad the bread was lightly toasted so I could bite thru the sandwich 😍😍 it tasted so good we also had some coffee and fresh juice No.2 We’ll definitely come back for more next time. Thanks chefs and staff for your great service.

Well, I ordered and it took 20 minutes to get our coffees. The food was good and the other coffee I got was good. But both iced lattes were terrible. One of them had white stuff from the soy milk. Another had no ice and just tasted terrible.
