The experience at the Fairmont is inconsistent. There are many things that are good but the hotel seems understaffed and the staff appears overworked. The lapses in service seem to be a function of this. The location is great and very convenient, especially to most business meetings. The pools have wonderful views of sunrise and sunset. I was fortunate to be upgraded and had a very spacious room. On the downside, the gym needs some attention and didn't smell that great. The gym hours were too short and it was impossible to use before work meetings. Most hotels now have 24-hour gyms. Breakfast similarly starts too late. There were no pens in the room to fill up the laundry sheet. The laundry didn't arrive on time. When you call the front desk it takes a long time for anyone to answer. The concierge desk was mostly unattended whenever I went to ask something. When I asked the front desk (as no one was at the concierge) where I should go running, all the staff at the front desk conferred for a while and came back and told me they had no idea where I should go. Finally, the lines to check in, check out, or do anything at the front desk were relatively long. These things should be easy to fix so I hope they are able to address them as overall the property is nice.

We really felt looked after at this hotel. Room with a view was fantastic. Both in-room dining service and the breakfast/buffet food were at expected level for a top hotel. The Wellness center and Spa was one of the best we've tried; Chloe, the centre manager was super helpful and accommodating. The therapists also really professional and friendly, thank you MiMi, Khadek, Olivia and Fatima. We really rejuvenated! The only minor downside at this hotel were some renovation works at the lobby at night, but the staff managed it well and we weren't disrupted.

One of the best properties in Dubai. The hospitality was excellent. Hotel staff go the extra mile to ensure your stay is comfortable—a fantastic stay here with lots of love and wondrous surprises for us. We were here for just one night and have enjoyed every moment here. The rooms were well-maintained and cleaned. This is the perfect hotel for a weekend getaway—a lovely hotel with a beautiful restaurant. Overall, I had a great experience; the staff was accommodating, and the amenities were great. The bathroom is massive, with a lavish soaking tub.

Excellent location by the metro and opposite the world trade center. The pool situation is a little strange, there are two smallish pools on either side of the hotel situated on a pool deck - which is open depends on the time of day and where the sun is. Comfortable rooms and a good breakfast buffet.

We were here today for spa with pool access. We want to relax after spa in pool. Pool experience was horrible. There were no staff no attain except life guard. Finally one lady appear with other drinks order. I asked if we can order, there is no one to assist, are you alone. She responded with attitude, doesn't know how to smile and speak politely. We came here to have fun and relax, not for staff attitude. Even 2star hotel staff will behave better than this to their guest. I didn't expect this type of treatment from staff in a property like fairmont.

Great place but unfortunately there valet staff and manager from the main rd entrance need to re-evaluate their attitude, was rudely spoken to by valet, (everywhere i go i use valet regardless of price, makes life easier)so we asked for the manager, then the manager arrived and asked about the situation, the valet attended then lied to our face so I pulled him up on his lie( he lied so he would not get into trouble for being a poor worker) and then the manager was abruptly rude and told us that his valet attended is right ( i have parked here many times). Poor customer service but great hotel and beautiful but unfortunately will not be returning, I don't tolerate poor attitudes from staff that should be providing one service when they can not even get that right, so it reflects on the hotel as poor management.

An excellent experience, one of the best I’ve had in a while. Went there the weekend before Ramadan. From the entrance you will be greeted with a sweet refreshing scent. The reception staff were amazing. Special thanks to Ms. Alena for making our stay an exceptional one! The room was great and spacious. The team were very helpful and accommodated all our needs. The amenities were great and enjoyable. The breakfast was that of an international standard. Though wished the restaurant had better lighting. The area of the hotel is in the heart of Dubai. Would definitely repeat the trip in the future. Many thanks to all the team there for the wonderful experience.

We stayed at Fairmont Dubai for 11 nights in June 2023. On arrival at 3am and check-in, we were informed we’d only get ONE roller bed whereas we had booked a suite that contained a kingsize bed and a twin bed. After speaking to management, the second roller bed was delivered to the room. Initially there were issues with the room we were given as the Conrad Hotel next door were blasting their music all throughout at night. With 2 young children this was not suitable and simply unacceptable so we were given another room on the opposite side to Conrad. Then the following night (in the new room) we had issues with the Wi-Fi and room lighting randomly switching on as there was a defect with the motion sensor - imagine the full lights coming on at 3am and disturbing your children! Due to the inconveniences received I requested to speak with the manager Kazim. After highlighting the aforementioned issues he gave me his phone number should any further issues arise and endeavoured to resolve the persistent Wi-Fi issue. He also arranged a complimentary massage for myself and my wife out of goodwill which was gratefully received. On the positives, the sunrise and sunset pools were a nice treat for the whole family and we made use of this everyday before heading out downtown. Breakfast was a nice variety and can be really busy around 10am with a queue for a table. In summary, 3 of the 11 nights were disturbed but luckily for us we were there for longer period for the hotel to redeem itself making our stay overall enjoyable. Had we been there for the typical 5-7 nights then our experience would have been overall disappointing and somewhat disheartening with this being our first family vacation in 4 years owing to
Covid-19 pandemic. The staff at the hotel were superb. Always helpful and courteous. Special mention and thanks to the staff, in particular: Ehab - reception Gharam - reception Tareq - house keeping Talat - house keeping Olu - house keeping Sreejith - IT engineer Kazim - general manager And the WHOLE breakfast team. 4.7/5 rating overall.

5 star hotel can't accommodate 1 guest that arrive early and asking to get an early check-in and willing to pay for it. Such a bad customer service and manager that can't give any estimate except 3pm checking time. Such a big disappointment!! Wanted to say that stay was great and hotel room service was immaculate. Enjoyed the stay although the check in experience wasn't good.

Overall a very nice and luxurious hotel with attentive staff, in particular Nurul and the lady signing people in at breakfast. The staff helping provide room necessities were very kind and helpful. The hotel offers a range of activities and things to do even if you don’t wish to leave the hotel itself. My only issue would be that some of the lifts don’t go to a certain level which causes an inconvenience for those on that level however the majority of my experience was positive and i would recommend and stay here again

I had an amazing stay at the Fairmount Hotel in Dubai. From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional. The room was spacious and luxurious, with stunning views of the city. The hotel’s amenities, including the pool and spa, were top-notch. The dining options were diverse and delicious. I can’t wait to return to this fantastic hotel.

We had a meeting in Fairmont Dubai - lounge since our office is sitting few blocks away from this hotel.. Kyle, the server from there was exceptional and lovely. Polite and knowledgeable in all that she do. The coffee and sweets served were all so good. Satisfied with the service . I will definitely come back here.

Stayed for a week. Pleasant experience. Courteous and prompt service. Good food, but breakfast and lunch buffet needs more Indian choices, currently very limited. If you are in higher floors factor in some waiting time for the lifts to arrive, they have 6 lifts but sometimes waiting time is high. Also check out waiting times around 12 noon can be more. Excellent locations, metro just 1 minute away and taxis easily available. Great views from the rooms and an overall luxury ambience.

Great hotel good staff Monir was superb very helpful check in was quick and they allowed early check in as rooms were available and special requests were noted. Breakfast good but monotonous they should add more variety each day of the week. But overall a lovely stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at Fairmont Dubai, we booked half board for a 7-night stay. The hotel is in a very convenient spot, close to all the landmarks in central Dubai, with a metro station pretty much at the doorstep of the hotel. We stayed in their one bedroom suite and the room was really nice, spotless with an amazing view. Food was lovely, limited options but everything was very tasty. Special mention for Baldeep who always made us feel welcome, and Baskar (I think that’s his name, tall fair guy in beige shirt uniform working at the tables). He was very kind, kept checking on us and making conversation, and kept offering french fries for our baby every meal even though it was never on the menu. The only negative is the lifts. For this 34-floor building, only 3-4 lifts (out of 6) are working, and there’s no display on the room floors for where the lifts are (except at the lobby). The lifts take a very long time to come, often come full or half full, so for our family of 6 with a baby pram, it was difficult to use the lifts. Overall, a nice experience nonetheless, we would definitely recommend this 5 star hotel in the centre of New Dubai.

The rooms are spacious- we had the 2 bedroom suite with plenty of space for the family. Service is excellent and there are many food venues onsite. We had an issue with the first suite with power shutting off every few minutes, but the staff moved us to another suite. They need to check the wiring on these suites, as the breaker kept tripping… I am an engineer, so I know, but I wasn’t working… I was on holiday and the hassle of moving after settling in was not good! The pool is great and kids friendly.

Visited with family for my birthday. Rooms were great but giving two stars because of the elevators. The elevators are small and there was only one elevator working serving all guests at the hotel. We had to wait for 25-30 minutes to get inside the elevator. For the price they charge, they need to stop taking bookings if they have issues with the basic infrastructure at the hotel. That experience was unpleasant and unfortunately that’s the memory I am going to take with me and I’ll never return or recommend this hotel.

The Lobby Lounge at Fairmont Dubai👏👏👏👏👏 It's indeed a wonderful monday morning in Fairmont Dubai. Firstly, I was greeted by this friendly staff in the lounge namely Kyle. The lobby is quiet and perfect for meetings. Their coffee is good too! I also enjoyed the fresh croissant. The service is absolutely great and will look forward on our next visit. Awesome place and nice service 👏

It’s located at a very convenient place from where one can go around to the main tourists spots easily. Taxis and cars are always available nearby. A Metro Station is available just next to the Hotel. Room, Food, Ambiance and Hospitality are just beyond above.

I visited Fairmont Sheikh Zayed Hotel recently, and I must express my disappointment and discomfort with the condition of the hotel lobby and its sofas. The lack of cleanliness left me feeling quite disgusted. I hope the hotel can address these issues to maintain its reputation for providing a pleasant guest experience.

Room service is good. Their Valet is the worst ever. They kept my car window open when parked. Their valet staff are not present and bad communication. 2-3 elevators were out of service during my stay, which made us all late and wait so long for the elevator. It’s my first and last stay at fairmont!!

Can't complain about this hotel. The location is perfect, opposite the World Trade Centre Metro. We bought a Nol card and used the Metro every day. Hotel has 2 nice pools, nothing too special but very functional and clean. Hotel breakfast was very nice. All in all a good hotel for an 8 night stay. Laurence

I was a guest for a meeting at 33th floor, the facilities were exclusive including the refreshment and later the launch was tasty, including BBQ, fish and salads. I didnt eat desserts so can say. No need to bother by car as there is free valet parking. Smoking is not allowed.

We’d like to thank the hotel staff for a great stay. Deependra from the front desk was professional and attentive. He offered an upgrade and got us a wonderful, spacious room when we arrived tired after a long trip. Throughout our stay we felt comfortable and cared for. Definitely coming back!

Lovely clean and spacious rooms. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was satisfactory but not abundant. Ms Soumi was more than happy to serve and prepare a fresh omelette, always with a bright smile. Negative points: In the bathrooms liquid soap and shampoo were in fixed refillable bottles on the wall, but I can live with it. We booked a suite for a week prepaid in full. We arrived very late and tired and we were asked to pay in advance for city tax and for a deposit payment (not just credit card registration) for any extras. I refused and because of this we avoided any extras throughout the week. I felt like in a cheap hotel where a resident may disappear during the night. Sorry, but I can’t live with that in a 5 star hotel.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a pleasant experience. The facilities were clean and well-maintained. I would like to express my gratitude to Mr. Deependra at the reception for his helpful assistance during the check-in process. His professionalism and friendliness made my stay even more enjoyable. Overall, a positive experience.

What an experience! Stayed at the hotel for 5 days and can’t say enough how amazing everything was, from location to hotel amenities or from service to cleanliness. The room was a very decent size too and both the sunrise/sunset pools were fabulous. I will highly recommend that if you are staying at this hotel do go for breakfast buffet, its a simple spread but covers all breakfast items one can ask for. The staff present during breakfast service was also very helpful and was constantly looking after the guests. I will especially like to highlight Nurul and Uzma for their exceptional service and friendly demeanour . Overall I will rate my stay with flying colours, there wasn’t a single thing I could fault. Looking forward to staying at this hotel in future too.

I was staying in the hotel at the end of May. The hotel itself is super nice, clean with excellent breakfasts and amenities, however, the service is the poorest I have ever experienced and I'm traveling a lot! Completely unhelpful. I have used chauffeur to the airport and I was told I will get a receipt on email and since my return, I'm corresponding with the hotel, where I'm hearing that I will get the receipt asap, which is absolutely unacceptable. Several people contacted me and all of them are constantly repeating that they are working on it and I will get it shortly, now it's been over a month. Very unprofessional!

Location wise, this hotel is amazing. The metro station is nearby as are a number of restaurants. We stayed here for work and it was an overall pleasant experience. However, I found that then standard of the pool area was definitely not something I would expect of a 5* hotel. Also, the breakfast choices were not great. However, overall the rooms were clean and comfortable and I would also like to make a special mention to Edwin and Hasim from the pool/spa area, they always had a smile and were of great help.

Great location, nice rooms (not cozy), nice view, yet, unexperienced staff (some with an attitude), food was not good and over priced. Also, hold on to your wallet; the doorman is the worst, he left our bags at the elevator when he overheard us asking about ATM (no cash on us). I won't go again.

The bad note is because I've had a bad experience, especially for a Fairmont hotel, and also considering that I was celebrating my marriage anniversary. I had already stayed in Fairmont Quebec and Fairmont Rio de Janeiro, which provided great service and structure. In Fairmont Dubai, however, it was not the case. The rooms are undeniably very good, but the service is not. The whole experience was not compatible, in my opinion, with the Fairmont standard: it was unsympathetic, they did not make any efforts to attend our requests, the hotel made some mistakes regarding service provided by the restaurants (even the pool restaurant is not affiliated with the hotel), and the manager of the hotel treated it very poorly. The only good service, I guess, was during checkout, when Hesham provided us with the only warming service we had during our stay. The breakfast, although very vast, doesn't provide many tasteful experiences, the pastries are not good and there's nothing with noteworthy quality. If you are looking only for a great room, Fairmont Dubai might be a good choice, but if you consider service and quality of the food in the restaurants owned by the hotel, maybe you should consider other options.

Olawole does an excellent job of keeping our room clean and fresh. Also arranged gift for my wife’s birthday which was very much appreciated. Views from the 31 floor are excellent with all the main tourist attractions within view Hotel is spotless and staff very polite. Only issue would be is the water service during meal time it can be slow but overall a great hotel.

The Fairmont is a warm, friendly hotel with good amenities and an excellent location, situated between old and new Dubai. Access to the Trade Center metro station, as well as plenty of taxi and private car services, makes getting around Dubai from this location easy. The front desk staff and concierge are always very helpful. And the rooms are cleaned to an immaculate standard, thanks in part to housekeeping staff members such as Anil, who ensures that the rooms are sparkling clean. The gym is equipped with cardio and resistance training equipment, some of which, however, is slightly dated. Beware of the slippery marble floors in the bathroom and shower. The beds are very comfortable, and the rooms offer a quiet sanctuary. This is overall a top quality hotel. Thank you for the comfortable accommodations.

Our room was well but with a big pb of air conditioning (it does not work and goes down automatically to 17°c). We freeze in the room ;-) The location is very good and the food is correct. The traffic at the foot of the hotel is noisy even if it did not bother us because we were on the 31st floor. Nice heated pools Thanks to Olawale for the room.

Very nice Hotel to spend time! The room was very modern and spacious but most of all: very very clean! The staff did an amazing job!!! Overall the pools could see some renovation and touch up’s but are still great to get a swim in and cool down. Breakfast was also nice!

Wonderful hotel We had a suite here and it was fantastic, very spacious, extremely clean, no noise pollution from other rooms or suites either. Plenty of lifts/elevators to our floor, staff are pleasant & very helpful. If you plan on seeing & visiting a lot of the sites plus attractions of Dubai then this hotel's location is literally perfect. The breakfast is good but realistically I would advise you eat out for dinner, what they have to offer just doesn't compare to food elsewhere from the hundreds of other eateries around.

Excellent hotel, very close to world trade center and metro: only a few minutes away! Breakfast is excellent and abundant with an appreciated schedule. During our stay (8 days) , we had a concern concerning the pool and we had the chance to meet and discuss with Surandar Singh from the Hotel Eng dept. The hotel was great, the room is beautifully decorated, with very comfortable beds and spacious rooms. I was upgraded to the one-bedroom suite, and it was perfect! Most importantly the hotel staff from reception, security, kitchen, room service, and housekeeping are all very helpful and professional. They go above and beyond to ensure your needs are catered to. I am very grateful to Duty Manager Fatima for taking care of all my requests while I was sick. A special thanks to the chef (Sorry I forgot his name) for preparing special meals for me. I will forever remember my moments here and look forward to visiting again soon. Fairmont Geneva has been one of my fav hotels and now Dubai just confirmed to me that Fairmont should be my hotel anytime I visit one of their countries of operation. Overall, I am a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend them, especially for Travellers who want comfort, security, excellent customer service and beauty.

Not 5 star hotel. I had big issue with my room order - not delivered after 6 calls and 90 minutes waiting time, even for simple soup of the day. Called to talk the manager on dury no avail to reach. They delivered the soup and simple sandwich around 100 minutes after as ‘cold’ food. Never staying again. Rooms are really cold - unable to really arrange the temperatures too.

My trip has been fantastic. This is my first visit to Dubai, and I'm glad I stayed at the Fairmont. The atmosphere is lively, and the staff, particularly Mr. Paul, are excellent. Thank you for your thoughtful words and delicious food. It is unquestionably necessary to book this hotel.

The hotel is very central. Next to the hotel is a metro station and it only takes 10 minutes by Taxi to go the mall. The rooms were very clean. The food was just ok, nothing special. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The Hotel Service Agent Bikash deserves special mention. He helped us in various matters such as recommendations for activities, reservations and many other things. Once we forgot important valuables in a beach club. He made sure we got our things back quickly. We were always greeted with a warm smile and he always went out of his way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Thanks a lot for this. We will definitely come back :)

Stayed here for about 1 week during the summer. The Trophy Room pub was a welcome spot for an afternoon drink and snack, with Mokhtar taking good care of us, and making sure we had enough beer and that we felt comfortable. Rooms were up to expected Fairmont standard, and service everywhere was generous and polite. Proximity to the metro is a not often mention convenience, opening up access to a lot of the best places in the city. Cigar selection in the cigar room was legendary.
