More than just a shopping centre, this place is a whole experience! I've been here several times and always found it an enjoyable, if often hectic, day out. I love the flamboyant architecture with its ceiling frescoes, classical statues, spectacular water features, profusion of palms, and an ornate glass lift beneath the dome. There are three large stores - John Lewis, Selfridge's and a new M&S in the former Debenhams - along with many big high street names such as H&M, Next, Boots, Waterstones and New Look, and lots of smaller high-end fashion boutiques, jewellers, perfumeries and homeware shops. There's something to suit all tastes and pockets. I've always found the malls spotlessly clean and tidy, and they're also very accessible, with lifts and escalators between the two levels. There are cookie and ice-cream stands, juice bars, plenty of seating, and well-kept toilets throughout the centre. The spacious food court, resembling the deck of a cruise ship (with a "sky" that changes colour throughout the day), is surrounded by a wide variety of fast food outlets, and there are good restaurants and eateries of all nationalities, from Thai and Mexican to Italian, Greek and American, in imaginative themed zones. I try a different one for lunch each time I visit. There's a cinema, bowling alley, amusement arcade, sealife centre and Lego exhibition. Loads of free car parking, with disabled spaces and EV charge points, and a Metrolink tram service between the TC and Manchester, with trams every 12 minutes. There's enough shopping, dining and entertainment here to fill several days. I love this place and will keep coming back!

We visited Manchester recently and as part of our visit, we booked a morning at the Sea Life Centre. When we got there we were astounded by the beauty of the whole building and were so glad we booked the Sea Life Centre or we may not have visited at all. The whole building is extremely well maintained. Inside it is spotlessly clean, the statues are stunning, the water feature in the middle is beautiful and the painted ceilings bring it all together. Even the toilets were modern, clean and well maintained. The hand washing area had a whole system just above the sinks, where you pressed for soap, then pressed for water and then pressed to dry your hands, all in one place. It made it much more hygienic and efficient. Inside there are a number of shops including a huge Primark, as well as homeward stores and other clothing stores. There are also activities including the Sea Life Centre, but also including a new Nerf adventure experience and shop, and a mini LEGO experience and shop too. If you lived in this area and had young children, I would expect they would have visited for at least one friends birthday party here, as they are advertised, and I think they would be popular. The car park is very large, we arrived just as it opened at 10am and it was fairly empty but when we left nearly 2 hours later it was very busy, but still many car parking spaces left. The parking is free too, which makes it even more convenient to visit. The Trafford Centre itself is easy to get to and close to the city centre.

This place is just so beautiful and lively. It has everything under one roof. If you're visiting for the first time, make sure you have at least 2-3 hours even if it's a window shopping spree. All the biggest brands, the best and massive food court, it's the best in town. A perfect place not only for shopping but also if you wanna celebrate your special day like birthday or an anniversary as there are a lot of options to choose from right from gifting, to which cuisine one should dine in for. Have fun. Make sure to visit the Trafford Palazzo too.

A must go in Manchester for a day out! Has so many choices for shopping, from branded to non branded shops, lots of eateries, lifestyle shops, perfumes- an area where kids can enjoy and lots of parking outside. Good for a whole day out, but go after payday 😂

A very nice large shopping centre. One of the most beautiful malls I've ever been to. The restaurant section is really something(All Bar One, Five Guys, Bill’s, The Real Greek, Tampopo, TGI Fridays and Wagamama). Beautiful buildings inside the building, the main part is in the shape of a ship. So many different good shops(Selfridges, John Lewis, River Island, Victoria’s Secret, Zara, Stradivarius, Boots, Pull&Bear, H&M and Next). Big car park(The Trafford Centre has 12,500 car spaces and 350 coach spaces), there is a cinema(ODEON), fountain and various other entertainment.

A big very, busy shopping centre in South Manchester. It has a huge food court (more like a ship haha) and lots of stuff to do, in addition to shopping. I would only go once every several months because it's a very crowded place & can be too overwhelming. Avoid going on half term & Xmas period.

The place is sooo beautiful, I Love the Architecture. lots of shops and an arcade that have lots of games to play with. I win a doll from the claw machine :))) A food court next to the arcade, lots of seats and there's some activity in the middle that you can play with, always changes, but the last time I go, it's a ice skating. There's sometimes a winter land theme park right outside the trafford centre, depending the season, bit it's super fun") Recommend to go. Regardless, you go alone or bring your family or friends. It's a good place to go and have fun.(´⊙ω⊙`)(*๓´╰╯`๓)♡ I always have fun here with my friends and family ;)

The greatest mall I visited in Uk , it is huge and has all my favorite shopping destinations and lots of dinning options. Also there are many entertainment destinations within the mall like Cinema, Lego and sea life and much more. They always also hold many special events and installations throughout the year. I last visited during this festive season and the whole mall looked magical with all the decorations and lights. Bathrooms are always clean and tidy which is a major plus point!

Enjoyed a good mooch round with hubby, been a while since last been, great to see the place, altered slightly but feels more open. Likely be back Christmas. Tip, go early to avoid crowds, we got there just past 10am, easy for navigating around.

The Trafford Centre Manchester was built in 1998, and has over 200 shops and restaurants, It's located just outside of Manchester city centre, so relatively easy to get to. They have a giant dining hall, which has restaurants to dine in, as well as quick service restaurants to grab and go. Chances are if you go you will end up coming away with buying something;) There's a fair outside the great mall (centre entrance) which is quite busy. Plenty of parking, however parking will be a but of an issue when it's a holiday/sales are going on. (We visited te 27th Dec, and it took 30min+ to find parking - obviously this is an exception, but be wsrned) After getting parking, then you can easily spend a good few hours there. Primary has a giant super store, as does M&S, and other stores, such as JD, Next etc (there are a few flagship stores here as well)

The Trafford Centre in Manchester is an absolute gem for shopping, dining, and entertainment. The vast selection of stores, delightful eateries, and diverse entertainment options make it a one-stop destination. The architectural beauty and spacious layout enhance the shopping experience. However, during peak times, it can get quite busy, affecting parking and crowds. Overall, it's a must-visit for anyone seeking a varied and vibrant shopping experience in the heart of Manchester.

Pretty alright place. Can be expensive though if you're not a royal descendant. The building is very nice. However the bus service has let me down in the past. The food court is pretty good although it can be expensive. Quite a good place overall, can be a fun day out

A stunning place to be. The Trafford shopping centre is more than just another shopping centre. Besides the regular shops, restaurants and coffee shops that adorns it, the centre also has cinema theatres, parks and gardens. The free car parking areas are so extensive such that you don't have to worry about getting a parking space when visiting. The centre is a beehive of activities with lots of tourists in attendance.

It's among top 5 biggest shopping malls in Europe and UK. It is the most luxurious and artistic shopping centre I have seen in whole Europe. If you are art lover much to notice. Free parking, a big food court, arcade games and sufficient washroom facilities. A must visit in Manchester.

Really fun shopping centre. It has everything you need for a day out. You’ll spend more time sightseeing around the mall than shopping. The cinema is good, there’s plenty of food options and the arcade is a decent size. There’s also plenty of free parking with easy access to trams and busses to explore all of Manchester.

I really enjoy visiting here as there is a wide range of prices and an excellent choice of stores. The staff are very helpful and there are interactive stations that you can use to find out where you are and where your favourite stores are. When you are ready for some refreshments there are plenty of places to eat.

I was at the Trafford Center on Tuesday and Thursday. It's a very nice modern shopping center just outside Manchester. You can reach it by tram from Manchester City. You have to change at Deansgate for the tram to Trafford Centre. I think the shopping center is very modern and beautiful. It is very large and there are many shops and also various restaurants. If you are in Manchester, you should definitely go there. There is even free parking.

What an amazing place, soo many shops & places to eat, definitely recommend visiting this 👍🏻 lots of parking available. Such a big place, make sure you get your walking boots 😉 Recently visited again, some lifts are working and some aren't, these should be told to the public walking end to end and finding the lift doesn't work is annoying 👍🏻

It has been a long time since I last visited the Trafford Centre, it has gotten bigger with the opening of the Trafford P. Some shops have gone, with new ones starting out. A few old favourites remain like Marks and Spencer, Millie's Cookies etc The same in the food hall, there is still lots of choice and the service is fairly quick. Beautifully presented as a building and the fish fountain is still reaching dizzy heights, loved it

Lovely spacious mall..(although it somehow looks bigger on the outside than it does in the inside). It has a wide selection of shops from selfridges to holisters, plus an entertainment centre. However, it does get extremely crowded on the weekends, and on rainy days (and finding parking spaces can be a real nuisance!).

Haven't seen a cavernous, extravagant, luxurious shopping centre before. In Manchester, this centre occupies a suburb. Wit organised parking, theme parks, amusement parks & and cinemas, not to mention de shops. All de known highend luxurious & budget brands are here. Just name it. Saw many more brands dat I never knew existed. Furthermore, de length & breath is climate controlled to enable everyone's comfort while inside. Wide range of restaurants, English, variety of Asian food outlets, etc. This place has merchandise for all classes or categories of shoppers. De establishment is so large dat I doubt one can cover de whole length in one visit. This place is imposing & spectacular to behold. A testament to this Great Empire

It was our first visit as we are not local but got stuck in Manchester. Seems nice enough, fairly clean and tidy with a reasonable selection of shops and places to eat. Little disappointing that the walk over to the area where the Lego shop is located was very warm and sticky.

Stunning shopping centre and really a marvel for the eyes. It was my first time and the variety and effort that is present in the architecture is astounding. Such a beautiful experience and leaves such a positive impression on the city.

The Trafford Centre is an excellent shopping centre.there is a large selection of shops within this large shopping centre.there is also plenty of food places to get a snack, drink or meal.there is also a cinema.the shopping centre is open late most except Sundays.there is easy disabled access and plenty of toilet facilities. The Trafford Centre is easy to get to with the bus, tram or car and has plenty of parking spaces. I will say however avoid the place at Christmas as it can get excessively busy.

Visited here today for the first time. I had a blast. Tons of shops that I loved to visit, a huge food court and overall a great deal to see. Cost ranges are great so you'll likely not leave empty-handed. Whether it's something cheap or expensive. You'll be sure to have at least a good time here. I will definitely be returning.

The centre is clean and well-maintained, and the staff are friendly and helpful. There is a wide range of shops to choose from, so there is something for everyone. I particularly like the fact that there are a number of high-end stores, as well as more affordable options.

Plenty of car park. This place is huge. Restroom can be hard to locate, though. The prayer room is small. Have halal food options, which is great. Mr. Shafie at Vodafone out is very helpful & friendly.

Great place to hang out or shop. The decor is interesting but looks flimsy at places. Otherwise it's really good to spend your evening shopping from some of the best brands. There are plenty of food options to choose from so that's a plus!

One of the finest mall in the UK. It is huge and incredibly beautiful, and there are countless activities to enjoy and brands to choose from when shopping. Additionally, it includes a fantastic New Orleans sector and several wonderful dessert stores. Must visit by if you're in Manchester.

10/10 shopping, food & entertainment location with a little bit of something for everyone - many food types, bars, varied stores (technology, books, clothes, home & accessories) and ranged entertainment from SeaLife, to Lego & cinema with many screens (upstairs - can be difficult to find but worth it & do book ahead to secure seats - though we were lucky on opening weekend of a film to get recliners) A must do of Manchester

Very large shopping mall with so so many shops you may not make it all in one trip! If you’re not into walking a lot or have difficulties getting around physically, you may want to sit this one out. Selfridges in there is amazing so many brands. Sale season is also upon us 😍 so I’d visit if I was around in Manchester for sure

First visit to Manchester and Trafford Centre, very impressive such a huge shopping center compared to where I'm from, a bit overwhelmed. Nice and clean and a good variety of stores and restaurants. Enjoyed having a meal and then becoming a kid again in the arcade great fun

If you want to shop in Manchester the Trafford Centre is the place to go! It has a Great selection of stores and masses of parking , the food court is huge with every Type of food and ample seating, plenty to do for the whole family with the cinema and sealife center, the only things I would change Is they need more signage and places to Sit on the shopping floors. Highly recommended

Amazing Decor, feels great to explore the shopping mall. Great shops and could spend a day here. Its simply the best shopping mall that I've been too!

  • 4/5 Nigelj V. 9 months ago on Google
I never really know what to think of this place , it’s a behemoth of a shopping centre . Pluses free parking, every store you could ever need . Eateries , cinema , all be it eateries can be a bit more expensive than other outlets . If you have never been would suggest a visit . Christmas times and subsequent sales are madness , the place just gets to busy for me . Definitely worth a visit though . Ps the faux Roman and Greek statue ls are way over the top and cheapen the experience in my view

  • 5/5 Andrew L. 9 months ago on Google
Love coming to the Trafford centre, have always come often since being a kid, there's plenty of things to do other than shopping which is great. It's a nice day out with some amazing choices of food available. It's nice and clean and really nice on the eyes, just wish for things like the wall paper above the fountain area near John Lewis was maintained, not many people might notice it because of where it is, but it would look nice if it was sorted
