Visited for the first time on Saturday afternoon with my six-year-old to use the main pool. It's true that the place is ready for a refurb, but we were really happy here. The staff were friendly and helpful, the pool is a proper 25 metre length, and I appreciated the marginally cooler water as I find most pools too hot. Neither of us had any issues swimming for almost an hour. Though we didn't use it, the smaller pool is still a very decent size and apparently kept warmer for younger swimmers. It might be handy to know that the café appears to have closed some time ago, so bring your own brew if you're spectating! Also, male changing is the classic open bench layout, so bear that in mind if you're bringing a mixed group. There may be family changing, I didn't happen to ask. Seventies décor may not be to everyone's taste, but I think it's great. Overall I found it to be a relaxed place to visit with a lovely pool and we'll definitely be back.

Not beautiful, but the place works and the sports hall and swimming pool are fine, nothing fancy. My kids learned to swim here and I come a couple of times a week to swim and play badminton. A great local resource.

It’s alright. Quite run down and needs a cash injection. Pool is a good size but the changing rooms are poor. The sports hall isn’t too bad. Was always on the down after the library went here. Staff are always really friendly here. The cafe is ok but the gym isn’t the best.

I like these swimming baths and gym but the place has seen better days and is getting a refurb soon. Still worth going though. The lessons were very good when my children were learning some years ago.

I have been a member of this leisure centre since 2017 and since then, the facilities, looks and changing rooms still look old.

Friendly staff. Good pool not too cold. The changing rooms are in need of refurb, but I think it's already on the cards after Alti and Sale.

It's a tad run down, but the staff are lovely, and there's a really friendly atmosphere. The children's swimming lessons are very good. The gym is rarely overcrowded, and there are no 'roid heads acting like they own the place. It's just a shame that they no longer have squash courts.

My son had his first swimming lesson today. The staff were amazing and paid extra care of him and supported him (the girls in the water with the kids were so amazing).

A decent facility that is a great asset for the community. The swimming pool is being well used and is the ideal size. The building is starting to look old and tired but with plans for upgradable the facility under consideration it will shime once again when the work is done. It's not that it is worn-out, just starting to look like an old building, it is still perfectly serviceable and useable. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. The 25m pool is still good for lengths, the gym, although old equipment is still serviceable.

The pool is good and not too busy so that gets three stars. Unfortunately I can't use the gym as you have to book a 50 min orientation before you use it but all the slots are during the working day 🙄 will have to cancel membership due to not being able to use half the facilities, ridiculous!

Sort your website out, it takes years off me every time I TRY to use it. It's beyond useless Glasdstonego should be embarrassed.

staff great. Site is bobbins. Difficult and doesn't give clear direction. All it wants to do is get you to sign up for membership. Very dissatisfied with Trafford Leisure

We play football every Sunday here in the Sports hall. leaks from the roof, pitch not always set up upon arrival, staff disinterested and do not engage with us. Agreement in place in writing for a year for our time slot. We arrive and our slot has been taken up by another booking when we have had confirmation of ours and no notification of cancellation.

Does anyone remember when you could just go for a swim? Like turn up, pay and go in. Now you have to book in advance a 45 min session and youll be lucky if you can find one. Too many different types of swim session trying to meet too many different needs means no ones happy.

Lovely friendly welcoming staff. Always willing to have a chat. Daughters swimming teacher has changed quite a bit recently without being informed shes got Autism/adhd so finds it hard not having a regular face teacching her. Only issue is with the selfish people who leave their belongings in the cubicles rather than using the lockers of which is there plenty my daughter is a teenager and body aware so prefers to be in a cubicle rather than the shared changing room area.

Has all the basic leisure centre facilities, but is dated and tired. It needs a refurbishment like MossSide etc

Came to a swimming gala here. The facility is functional but has definitely seen better days. It looks very aged and a lot of the facilities are in need of repair. The spectator gallery is far too small. Not the worst but could do with a lot of money spending on it to bring it into modern times.

Happy with the process and the new showers, not happy about a lady speed swimming all directs in the slow lane. Shame as ladies got out due to this very inconsiderate swimmer.

It is OK. Looks decent but pretty old building serves the purpose.
