Hired the function room for my 18th! The staff were friendly and understanding! The function room was big for the party! They provided brilliant food and it is easy to get too! I would highly recommend this for a function room!

Not good for cricket as old players and management play politics and new players won't get games, rather new members end up paying huge members cost.

Nice place for a couple of quiet drinks.

Really recommend for private parties - option available to sort own catering or use their recommendations, venue good for people with children as both exits when closed have high handles. Staff friendly and helpful- disabled access and close by parking

We were at a funeral party,the room is nice with a well stocked bar overlooking the cricket pitch. The buffet was very nice,all made by a local bakery opposite the Roebuck. My only criticism is the way the tables were situated. We were all squeezed in together,if you sat at the back of the table,near the window,you had to ask people to move to get out for drinks,food or the bathroom. My suggestion would be to place some of the tables in the middle of the floor,so people feel more comfortable & can move around more eadily. With it being a funeral,we wouldn't need the space for dancing.

Recently held a Celebration of Life at Urmston Sports Club for my late husband Pat Walker. Pat was a local lad and was well known in the Stretford, Urmston and Sale area so it was a fitting location. The venue was perfect as it was nicely decorated, well equipped and sufficiently big enough to accommodate 100 guests. Pat was a popular guy! Emma with whom I organised the event was so helpful in ensuring that the room was ready on time, spotlessly clean and tidy and that all equipment was available to ensure the evening ran smoothly. The bar staff were also great. I would definitely hold another event here and want to say a big thank you to Emma and her team. Sally

The club hosted a spectacular firework display as well as lighting a bonfire to keep you warm. Kids thoroughly enjoyed it. Hot Food and drinks were also available.
