Love this place. Lovely staff, always clean, toilets spotless. Good service. Unfortunately on this one occasion the food was not up to scratch and as I visit this place a few times a month I was surprised as to be fair it is usually top notch. Jacket potatoes were only lukewarm and looked like they were days old and reheated. Flesh of potato was a dirty brown colour and had an off-putting after taste. . I would still go back and recommend as for me this was an isolated incident.

My partner and myself went to the Little B tonight for a bite to eat and a couple of drinks, The pub was recently taken over by a new manager, and what a difference they has made, the decor is a lot better, the staff are very friendly and welcoming, especially Katie the manager and Sarah, the food was delicious, and we really enjoyed the evening.,we will definitely be returning to the Little B very soon .

Called in and asked for a table, was told to go to the front of the restaurant, with my partner guiding my blind son and with 2 young grandchildren in tow - to be told there were no tables after all. On our way back out, bar staff said there was a table coming free, to which we were shown. We perused the menu on the table and made our choices, only to be told when we got to the bar that it was Sunday roast only on offer, went back to the table, got their choices, placed our order and paid. … only 2 roasts arrived, waiter said they would put the other one through and it would be a few minutes. When this meal arrived, my son mentioned to the waiter that the service had been poor (given the above) - the waiter argued with him and said they had been busy - my son told him they shouldn’t accept orders if they couldn’t fulfill! Food was a good 3/10, first and last visit.

Omg! Just eaten some of the best food I've ever had. The Little B is under new management with an amazing new chef. The 2 day slow cooked belly pork and the garlic prawn starters were absolutely delicious, I have never eaten belly pork this good, melted in my mouth, I cannot recommend this highly enough.

I came here last week for a bite to eat and a couple of drinks after it being taken over by new management. The food was delicious, staff were super helpful and the atmosphere was lovely. Thank you for a lovely evening, I will be returning! 😊

Seemed like a decent pub served quickly and played good music, a bit loud indoors but most people where outside

Love this pub. Sometimes maybe looks a bit intimidating but have been there a few times now and those that look to be troublesome actually tend to be genuinely decent people. Have made a few friends there on a night out and never any trouble. Nice staff and landlord too . Always had a great night out here

7 of us had booked to celebrate a friends birthday last night. Had requested a round table but this was occupied when we arrived, however the waiter asked the people who were occupying the table and they kindly obliged and moved. We ordered drinks from Sarah our lovely waitress and the food from the extensive, reasonably priced menu. Really enjoyed the whole evening however when we ordered coffee we were disappointed to find decaffeinated wasn't available. This was our only criticism. Great night. Highly recommend. Lovely staff.

Incredible food, the two Katie’s were very nice and helpful. Really nice atmosphere fantastic food from the chefs. Just all round brilliant!

Really nice pub. Service was great, the gentleman who served us was very friendly and helpful. We all enjoyed our food (really reasonable price). They have free parking also. Will keep coming back here in the future!

Nice sized pub with friendly staff and a good menu. Food is decent, always has the sport on that you want but with a separate dining area not showing it too. Plenty of outside seating and good selections of beers/lagers.

We've been in a few times since the new management have taken over and now the food is fab. But this was the first time we were in for Sunday lunch. Between us we had a traditional Sunday, roast beef and all the trimmings and that was delicious. I had the salmon fillet and it was seasoned to perfection. It is probably the nicest dish I've had in a while. I would definitely recommend and we will definitely back for more!

Visited the Little B Tuesday 19th of December 2023 the food and service absolutely brilliant. The chef came to our table to ask how everything was my reply absolutely spot on the lady/chef Irena. What a lovely young lady.I will certainly be visiting this establishment again in the very near future

I work at home and decided to enjoy the sun at lunchtime. It was a spur of the minute decision to visit the Little B, and I'm glad I did. I had the salmon salad which was really lovely, tasty and fresh. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and made sure I was happy with everything, which I was. The pub was clean and had a nice relaxed atmosphere, and I enjoyed sitting outside under the veranda in the shade. Thanks for the great service. I'll look forward to visiting again.

Great pub, expresso martinis on tap. Dog friendly, big tv out in the beer garden and brilliant bar staff. Dunno why the logo isn't a little 'b' tho.

Brilliant! My wife came with families for Sunday lunch and was very impressed so we went back for Tuesday tea. Food freshly cooked well presented and great staff. Also a lovely pint of Thwaites Gold. Congrats to the Manager and staff.

Went in Saturday night. Started well the barman was really good and served us guickly. He went for a break then it all went wrong. The barmaid was shocking. Walking round cleaning menus leaving customer waiting. The landlord had to serve before she would come back to the bar. At one point we had to interrupt her talking to ask to be served. There was a singer on who just shouted and didn't know the words. Not a great first experience.

Attended a 40th party at this pub in Sale, with the one star really coming from the insane parking fine received afterwards (which ruined the whole experience). Despite it being at night and being in a separate area for the party with drinks supplied, I was not once told or asked to provide my car registration, I have ended up paying a £100 fine. This was despite speaking to the manager when I received this who simply (whilst politely) didn't help and pointed me to the external parking company appeals process. My genuine appeal, having attended the venue for the party with photo evidence as to a lack of signage on the way in and the photos of my car only showing the reg as at night was rejected.

We’ve just had a lovely family meal here for the first time in years. Really friendly service and the food was amazing for all 4 of us. Generous portions and freshly cooked. They were kind enough to adjust our meals how we wanted eg no bread with the vegan burger. The eating area in the pub now looks more like a restaurant with tables set and candles lit (we were there at 5pm). There was football on TV at the far end of the pub and in another area opposite the bar however we didn’t notice any noise from the TVs or those watching. Highly recommend and we will be back soon. Got a magic bag from here through the too good to go app. All the staff & customers I encountered were really friendly & pleasant. The food was delicious and has made me want to go in for food off the main menu. I look forward to sampling the other dishes served here.

The little B has become one of mine and my other halfs favorite food spot. The staff are lovely and friendly. The atmosphere is great. And they have sports on the tv if you are after watching the football. The food is amazing and varied. With a menu that changes enough to keep it interesting. With great specials and amazing desert. And its all at a great price.

Went for a family dinner, 10 people. Pre ordered food . Reserved table decorations for party ,excellent.!! All the food, starters, main meals and not forgetting, pudding!! Perfection!! Couldn't ask for better service. I had the Salmon 🥰. Wow!! Fell apart it was so perfect. All the staff were so helpful, all happy and friendly. Big thanks to them. Highly recommend a visit. Not been in years, food menu is really good. We shared the lunch sandwiches, one club and one goats cheese (delicious) all the food was really tasty and fresh, did not taste like frozen rubbish. And lovely service. Just quiet but was a Monday at 2pm so!

Absolutely loved my experience at The Little B! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff were incredibly friendly, making sure we were well taken care of throughout our visit. The food was exceptional—especially the steak and chips, which were perfectly made on the outside and flaky on the inside. A wide variety of craft beers and classic pub drinks rounded out a fantastic evening. Whether you're looking for a cozy spot for a date night or a lively venue to catch up with friends, The Little B delivers on all fronts. Highly recommend!

Lovely setting, staff very friendly, breakfast was perfect and great price too :) will definitely be back for lunch.

Went here yesterday (30/04/2023) and I just had to write a review . The Sunday roast was absolutely gorgeous. It was so tasty, hot, loads of meat (we had the beef) and so fresh. We ordered the cauliflower cheese which was delicious. The service was impeccable. We then had the berry crumble, again all freshly made which came with a choice of ice cream or custard. I just had to rate this with 5 stars. Can’t wait to return .

Food was absolutely lovely, I ordered the special bolognese and my friend ordered the pork chop, would recommend to everyone I will be returning!

I had pate and liver which was quite nice. My partner had pate and salmon. The salmon was awful very pale and greasy and had a burnt taste but wasn't burnt. Drinks 2 wines 2 pints £25. Could have gone to a decent restaurant for the price. Shame because the food was well presented and the mash potatoes were real

I’ve just been into the restaurant and ordered some food. Can honestly say I am absolutely livid with the food & also the service that was provided. I ordered the pate and I can honestly say it looked like dog food out of a tin & not only that but another dish we ordered with it had a hair in the food. So why would I proceed to eat the meal? We only got the pasta taken off the bill, but please tell me why I would have sat there and enjoyed a meal when the other dish has black beard hairs in it? I’m absolutely fuming that I got charged for the food. One member of staff was lovely, however I feel the lady who was able to take the food off the bill was very unhelpful & could see how distressed I was about it and did nothing. It’s quite clear that the original lady who was looking after us wanted to help and could see how distressed it made me. They charged me for the food & im disappointed sending a whole dish back into the kitchen untouched, I feel as if I could have taken it home and fed it to my dog, honestly. I’ve been coming here for years and never had an issue. I’ve been coming to this pub since I was a child & was really looking forwards to eating here since the new menu. I feel as if I’ve just been disregarded like it’s nothing. The only reasoning I got for her not taking it off the bill was because “no one else has had an issue with it” the menu only started 2 days ago so I don’t think that’s a plausible excuse.

Today Fathers Day I made a last minute booking at the LittleB for 14 and iv got to say the service was awesome,the Food was exemplary it tasted amazing, we had the roasts and other dishes we couldn’t fault it so compliments to all the staff and we will be coming again Thank You

Went for a family get together. Expected the pub to be busier than it was. Music was a little loud and the customers appeared very young. Service was efficient. Only had drinks so can't comment on the food. Don't think I'll be in a hurry to return due to the other customers. They were in and out of the toilets frequently.

Great food and a nice place to eat, good atmosphere, even stayed to watch the band play.

Love The Little B. Food is great and a great place to meet up with friends for a catch up. Staff are very friendly and I will definitely be going back.

Service was a little slow but facilities were good. Table call service a great idea and staff were vet pleasant. A few people who didn't sign in and staff weren't particularly aware of them. Overall an enjoyable experience.

We took our Mum to the little b for her 50th! Great night. Thanks to Bailey and Jack for their hospitality and to all the serving staff really great attitude from all. Food is 10/10 and I would recommend to everyone!
