Hadn't been here for 15 years, sad to see the interior decimated, now a plastic pub. What was once the Holt's flagship is now more like a Wetherspoons but with the advantage of having a decent pint on pump (real of course 😉👍🏻)

Great pub, good prices. Food good, normal pub grub

As soon as you open the doors there’s a warm welcoming..seems like from everyone! The bar staff were super friendly and the same with the chef who popped out to say hi. I took my mum out for food and a few drinks. We had fish and chips..followed with sticky toffee pudding..The food portions were spot on and very tasty..Got what I asked for. I will definitely be returning.

This pub was fantastic, its great team and Steph the new manager were all welcoming. The pub looks great and has lots of booths and areas if you want to have a more private time or indeed if you want to send the lads to watch the footie there’s a room for that too! Lol The food was perfect, I only had a burger but it was cooked perfectly and I almost didn’t finish it all! And the prices were so reasonable! Defo worth a visit especially if there is a dj or karaoke on this pub caters for everyone. Well done to the whole team

We have only been coming into this pub for a short time, but I would highly recommend it. The staff are a credit to the Landlady as is the food service and atmosphere. We have been made to feel really welcome 🤗 As long as we are working and living in the area we will continue to support such a lovely warm and friendly pub. Thank you Paul and Jacqui

unbearably loud if you live anywhere near. it's half 1 in the morning and they're still going. food wise, they used to do excellent natchos, but don't anymore

First time in a long time I've been in. Met a friend for tea. Staff really helpful and friendly, atmosphere was nice and the food was lovely - great value for money!

Went tuesday 12th december for pre christmas meal catch up with friends We have been few times for drinks and brunch here all staff are attentive and hard working

Came for a Sunday dinner with my 2 children, staff were super friendly & always smiling, food was EXCELLENT and the portion sizes were AMAZING!! Hats of to the team will definitely be back again!

Not much selection of branded beers, mostly local beer. Food portion size is very small for the price. Even a simple thing as chip is more than£4 and very small portion.

This is a fantastic pub with a great atmosphere, and a very friendly landlady and staff. The service is great and the ales and lagers are well kept. It has been my local for 45 years and I wouldn't change it one little bit.

Been working in Manchester this week, found this little goldmine of a local pub. Fantastic staff and lovely food, really good atmosphere had us returning every evening. Staff made us feel like locals, not southerns 🤣🤣

What a fantastic pub - there are very very few like it now in the UK. Plenty of customers and so a great atmosphere. We went in watch a City match with friends. There was loads of light hearted friendly banter from the regulars, both City and United fans, even for me a relative stranger. There's a great range of beers and excellent food. Thoroughly recommend a visit if you're passing, it's close to the Trafford Centre too.

Great pub, always a positive atmosphere. Staff (management included) are fantastic, welcoming, easy to approach and always happy to go above and beyond. The food is prepared to a high standard and affordable with the added value of good sized portions. Plenty of events to attend midweek and regular weekend entertainment.

Friendly local pub serving good food and good beer. Great entertainment with resident DJ who also runs a competitive and fun quiz night and karaoke! Guest DJ spots and a good range of live music which is always well received. Lots of sports showing with TVs all around the pub, darts comps and family friendly events through the year. The rooms are also hired out for groups in the community which brings lots of groups together. A local asset!

If I'm honest, I wasn't digging the vide. Staff seemed nice and there seems to be a real local feel to it I.e. most of the people knew each other. I'm not sure if it is a thing here in the UK but no lounge staff. You are left to fend for yourself. If u want food then ask, if u want a menu then go get one from one of the tables. I know that sound bad but I don't mean it like that. It depends on your expectations. I did not end up getting food cause I was just not feeling it. Nice looking place and lots of TV screens. I plan to go back and get it a proper chance. Overall I think there is potential but need to give it a second chance.

Traditional large family pub with lots of seating areas inside and out. The garden out back is beautifully maintained. The staff were lovely and made us feel welcome. Toilets were clean and well stocked with hand sanitizer/handwash etc. The food was amazing and very reasonably priced.

A really nice establishment set in a residential area. It's a good sized pub with a great selection of beers and all sensibly priced. I was here for a private function upstairs but ventured downstairs for the bar, where a DJ was playing. The clientele is mature and super friendly, a proper credit to Manchester. I was told that this is a United pub so if you're going to a game at Old Trafford then this is a good pub to have pre and post drinks in. I would go so far as to say I'd pay a visit to this pub if I was in the Greater Manchester area. On street parking is plentiful though I imagine this would be vastly different on game day.
