Special kebab was really tasty with proper fish & chip style chippy chips! Halloumi salad was a good vegi option too.

I had been Pany's on last Wednesday. I have bad experience when I brought along with my friend's family. We have ordered fish and chips with cola, additional chips and sausage etc. The lady packed our meal without putting any coca cola in the package though they have charged me. I only noticed this when I drove back home. Moreover all our chips were very small, in which I believed she selected those specially for us. It is our first visit this fish and chips shop. I will not be there again.

The old faithful, it hasn't changed since I was at school. One of the better fish and chip shops in and around Sale.

Oh the mighty have fallen, growing up I used to love going here, i was asked THREE times what my order was and still got it wrong , the mild chilli sauce is different aswell. Dont get me wrong it was still nice, but I'll go elsewhere now for my kebab

Ordered a large chicken kebab. £6.50 and was tiny. Daylight robbery. I could understand if it was top quality but it wasnt. There's nothing worse than being ripped off.

If there was room for more stars these guys would get them. I have been going here 15years or more and never been disappointed with the service, food, and friendliness of the place. You won't be disappointed!

I don't live locally, but always use this venue when in the area for great fish and chips. I also use the sit in restaurant facility. Staff are friendly and helpful and work in a clean environment. Good local take away.

2nd time here in as many weeks. Ordered fish and chips at 5.15pm on a Friday. 1st time the chips were dry, anemic and pretty tasteless. Thought it was a 1 off so went back again. Even worse!!!!! I can only think that they reheat the left over chips from lunchtime. Fish wasn't great either. Such a shame.

Excellent the food is excellent.and staff friendly. The lightly battered fish was precisely as I like it and the onion rings we're sufficient enough to accompany 2 or 3 meals. I don't take chips so cannot be comment on them.

The chicken shish kebab is really good. The small kebab sizes and above average prices are a bit out of balance though.

Has to be one of the best, iconic chippys in the region... friendly, family run, established, popular. Useful they do telephone orders and pickups. Great veggie burgers too! *****

We used to love this place, but it's really gone down hill lately. We ordered fish & chips; the fish had no flavour, and chips were hard, and dry. We threw the chips away, and I fed the fish, (minus the batter), to the local stray cats. The salad bar is also left completely uncovered. It can't be closed because of the sauce bottles they've placed in it, so it's permanently open, and not at all hygienic. The prices have gone up, but they are clearly cutting costs. Unfortunately we need to find somewhere else for our take out.

Soggy greasy fish.

I go here with my brother. The food is excellent and the preparation standards are consistent, meaning that you get the same high quality every time. Their Donner Kebab's are addictively nice, the battered cod superb, hot dogs are great, staff are great.... definitely the best one in the area and well worth a trip.
