Bought a hamster from there today the lady who served me was called cailin she was the kindest and politest person very honest answered all my questions and didn't hesitate to give me the right answers I'll find out what I needed to know

Finally got in at the vets4pets as their books have been full, Spotless and no hard sell.

very good products and value. Bought some fish as pet and my daughter loves them. The system they set up as guidelines to advise people like myself who has no idea where to start and what to prepare worked perfect. The only weakness is that there is always sufficient staff in the store and you have to wait and wave for a long time to find someone

James the Dog Groomer did a very professional hair cut on my dog Esme. She looks much better with a short coat and is ready for the Summer! She is usually quite nervous around men but James won her trust. I would certainly recommend him.

Nice store, friendly staff and cute hamsters, gerbils and guinea pigs, but I was a bit shocked to see live crickets and beetles in small plastic containers. I know they are seen as food for reptiles but still upsetting to see.

Brilliant place to visit, lots of plants even at this time of year, food excellent, definatly recommend a visit.

First time pet owner, first time accessory purchaser, it’s just like having a new baby at home. This branch was recommended for its particular services, and they more than delivered. We signed up to their app and VIP rewards, it seemed a bit of a con but it wasn’t.. The staff were absolutely wonderful, they began us from the first page of bringing a puppy home and all we will require. And they’re at the end of a call. Member for life.

I visited this store to have a look at the goldfish. One was stuck in the filter,dead. One was pineconing another was gasping at the top of the tank. Tanks were dirty. I was disgusted. How can anyone treat animals like this 😡😡😡

Went today and got absolutely amazing customer service of Dawn Allen the member staff we went and picked up our gorgeous dwarf hamster who is absolutely gorgeous she went above and beyond with us and went through absolutely everything with us before we went through the adoption would absolutely recommend this store and the member of staff

I cannot thank the staff at Pets At Home enough! I’ve been there many times and most of the staff are lovely. Recently I’ve been having trouble getting my dog groomed. He is a rescue and gets very stressed and anxious. I have been to another groomer before and they told me he couldn’t be groomed. He’s also scared of everything! He’s scared of the floor in Pets At Home so I have been taking him in to get used to it. Hannah helped him so much, giving him treats and comforting him. On the day of the groom I spoke to James over the phone and he encouraged me. James and the rest of The staff were ready when my dog got there, and made special arrangements for him. He’s back now from his first groom and he did so well thank you to the staff at PAH! I will definitely be back and would recommend their groom room to anyone with a nervous dog.

Always visit regularly but at Trafford the stock seems to be always low. E.g. grain free all complete biscuits, raw hide free chicken rolls/ twists. They do say I could order them but should we have to? Also appdoesnt work on android phone anymore. Staff unable to fix it so missing out on vouchers. However all staff are always friendly and helpful. Same with groom room.

Find a another vets all these are interested in is money we took our pug and was told she was fine we had a stand up row she wasnt took her to the PDSA . Then told she has septes of the womb was put down 2 days later we will never set foot in there again

Pointing at the fish on the tank and rude, large women who worked there came and had a go at us, very aggressive & told us to sod off, she didn’t want our money she said! Reported to manager who was 12 years old and couldn’t care less

Easy to park and friendly staff! I went for a specific item and as stated online, it was in stock... Some items were a little on the pricey side, but overall if you have a pet or two, there is a great selection of items over a broad range.. Well known brands and some I haven't seen in other retail outlets for quite some time! Btw... Thanks to the " Johnsons flea tablets " my cat is finally at peace with the world and flea free!...

I had placed an online order which I needed to return and assumed I could do in store, after speaking to the lady on the till who informed I had to contact customer service to do the return I did so and was told I should have been able to do it in store. I then called a different store who informed me they can do returns and so had to take it to a store further away from me which isn’t ideal. Hopefully this can be resolved

Absolute day light robbery, so they charged me £59.46 for ear drops that cost no more than £15 online, they didn't charge me for the consultation because I pay for the care plus plan and get 3 free vet consultations but on the itemised bill it states the consultation was going to be £18 but funny enough the vet consultation for a non care plan holder is £48. Make sense of that. They charge what they want when they want. Since joining this vet I've had numerous issues with them. I suggest you go to a local.vet who.would care more.about your pet then these cowboys

Visited today to get flea treatment and house treatment for fleas, the girl that helped me was knowledgeable about all of the products, how to use them and gave me excellent advise, thank you

Always visit here for our pets needs, but since getting a dog we have appreciated their advice so much more. All the staff are animal lovers and it shows. Will always visit here. Thanks to all the staff.

Went in for a Dog toy. Wasn't impressed with the choice and the prices seemed excessive. Came out empty handed.

Great staff knowledgeable and super helpful take both of my dogs here for the groomers aswell as the vets and always leave fully satisfied with the service

Great service and friendly staff. It was very busy and not a great range for puppies which was disappointing. It’s not a massive store but overall it was ok.

Really friendly and helpful staff who took the time to advise me on the best products, and that there was an app available to obtain a discount. Well stocked store with just about everything you need for your pet, plus an on-site dog grooming service. Social distancing maintained, together with the need to wear a mask.

Great for variety but not price. Usually buy Hollings sprats and the price keeps going up on them, use to be £8-9, then £10 now they are £14.99 for 500g That price was raised over a matter of 6 mths to a year

We went into the store 50 minutes before closing to be told we couldn’t buy any shrimp. There was 3 staff behind the till and no other customers in the store except us but were told they were “too busy and too close to closing time to serve”. This was said in front of our 6 year old daughter who was distraught to find she wouldn’t be going home with her new pets today. The manager Matt when questioned again just repeated his words and continued talking with his 2 colleagues. Would give zero stars if possible.

The shop is lovely and has some wonderful toys for my bunny! And the cashier had the same name as my sister and was lovely :)

Love this place. We go here and always get what we need. The staff are amazing, very knowledgeable and helpful. I love that dogs can come in too.

A while since I last visited the Bolton store..one closer to me at Trafford Retail park..excellent choices, roomy, airy. none of those overwhelming animal smells..wide product range..helpfull ,cheerful, knowledgable staff..ample parking at the Trafford site.👌

Pets at home is a really good shop for all your pets stuff.and they also sell some pets too...for example my fiancé and I got our 1st pet together from there.a little russian hamster.plus this store is right in the middle of the centre. So there's lots of shops. Example : tk maxx . sports direct ect. And the staff are friendly and helpful.

I take my dog to the Groom Room here and they take good care of him. He's a big dog, but always comes out looking and smelling lovely.

Stood waiting for a manager to come and open the dewormer cupboard. Original claim was a 5 minute wait, as the manager was busy. After half an hour I walked out. Ordered what I needed online, cost me half of what they were charging too. Advice, save yourself a visit, and some money.
